I hate the way you make my heart skip a beat each time you smile.
I hate that blue twinkle in your eye when you're about to speak.
I hate how my skin tingles when you gently stroke my hand.
I hate the way you rush to greet me because you say you missed me so.
I hate that music in your voice each time you're saying something sweet.
I hate the slight curl in your lips when you're about to say you love me.
I hate the way you call me sweetheart as the moon's about to rise.
I hate how natural it is for your arms to wrap around my shoulders.
I hate how calmness falls upon us when words are nowhere to be found.
But most of all, I hate the way you make it hard for me not to love you back.
They say energy never dies
but never said it'd stay for the entire ride
hand in hand, losing their minds
Even in the darkness
there's nowhere to hide
thought that when their worlds decided to collide
the pain would finally subside
Did they ever really try?
or did they just shut down inside?
countless excruciating tears they've cried
yet still numb
from losing so many loved ones that died...
time after time after time
consuming lust filled emotions
had them drowning in eachother's souls
but fears fueled the endless lies
that their bruised egos told
slowly making their hearts turn cold
so unaware of the true dimension
they belonged in
a place they created together
as their souls continued
intertwining & binding
defining forever
manifested their own demons
trying to protect themselves
from expected cruel intentions
boy, were they relentless
made nothing but a huge mess of this
love & desire
mixed with fear & anger
created an unextinguishable fire
adding fuel to the flames
whenever he was inside her
one anothers new drug
they couldn't get any higher
There’s a poem in the shadow of your eyes
I read it and feel the weight of your heart
I touch it and know the strength of your mind.
I kiss it and taste the tears that have dried.
There’s a poem in the maps left behind
The marks that stretch east to west like palm fronds on your right behind
There’s a poem in the hospitality of your hands, warm and welcome every line
Wears a safety badge if you’d patiently tarry.
There’s a poem in the music of shared laughter singing perfect notes with you
In good and bad.
There’s a poem in you
And I’m glad you are my favorite poem.
I can't do it
My heart tries
But the bee
Is where my rose lies
The River flows
Giving life to all
But the snake
Is where my eyes fall
The snow offers joy
So many sledding on slopes
But the pending danger
Is where my hope ropes
...and I hang on for dear life
Life...that's a laugh
Where is living in dying
Try as I might, my system
Forbids access to what desire is buying
I press my pen against paper
Demanding it write out my joy
But it sighs and retracts
Sighting all effort as a ploy
My pen is right, there's no point
In writing about what I haven't known
I'm told a great harvest is coming
For the many good seeds I have sown
...and I wait in the patience my tent now holds

I love your father
And he's the love of my life
I may not be your mother
But I love you like you're mine
I am going to love you
No matter how you feel
No matter what you say or do
My emotions are deep and real
Like soft petals that touch your cheek
Like sunshine on calm waters clear
Like soft puppies and kittens cute
Like the memories we hold dear
In this life we don't always choose
The family that joins our home
But we can make the best of it
Be kindness and respect in tone
On this journey filled with surprises
Like a roller coaster that keeps us thrilled
Family dynamics can keep evolving
Blessings and grace and goodwill
So, I will love your father
And embrace you as my own
Because we are one clan united
Love and happiness our home

Do you know what it’s like to trust someone
and feel as if it’s jumping into a lake with weights tied to your leg? Watching everyone you love slowly drift away till gone. Like taking that step not knowing if it will turn out the same.
Do you know what it’s like to finally trust that person and put your all into making it work out? As they slowly distance themselves from you, but was it ever bound to work out?
Was I actually loved, or was I in love with the possibility of being loved by you? Did you ever feel the same about me or was it all just limerence?
I see that look in your eyes,
That sparkle with shine,
Asking me for something more
That I cannot provide.
I don’t want to hurt you again.
Why give you half of me
When you deserve me at my best,
And I’m just not there yet?
I want to tell you, you can trust me.
Your feelings are safe in my hands,
But I might end up letting go
And chasing after something that’ll hurt me more.
I know you’re what’s best for me if I healed,
If I stayed focused and put myself first.
I could be the man of your dreams,
Instead, I’m like any other man.
I wish I was like Atlas and could carry your load.
I’d tell you my cup is empty, but I can take more.
But I’m on the edge, with one more bad day
Enough to make me spill everything over.
O lassie, I were loving you far longer than I knew,
And I would have you know of it, before the eve were through.
Through fair and feisty weather,
We shall face it all together,
And our hearts shall be our tether,
If you will but say "I do".
Remember when we’d run across the park,
chasing a paper kite in the summer wind?
We were young, light on our feet,
and so eager to light up the dark.
Our love felt light as sugar,
aimless, easy, full of wild ideas.
We’d make promises on the fly
and build big futures out of thin air.
Three years have gone by now.
We’re not just bending with every breeze anymore.
We’re not chasing shadows or running wild—
we’re walking the path together, steady and sure.
The kite finally came down to earth,
but what we have now has real roots.
It’s quiet, deep, and grounded—
so much stronger than the shallow thrill of where we started.
Do you see me
I am here my love
Waiting for you, longing for you
You give me a glance then you look away
No smile, no words , no trust
You eyes don't carry the love you had
As your silence explains the disgust.
Times have changed and so have I
But my love remains the same inside
Look at me, look at me
I am standing right here
Deafening silence echoing
Wondering when you'll be come and be near
Do you see me
I am here my love
Waiting for you, longing for you
Do you see me
I am here my love
And here I'll remain
For my heart is just the same
I no longer want a forever
Forever is a beautiful lie.
All there really is, is the now
The now we casually let go by.
I no longer want just words
Just words not backed up with actions are a facade
Show me what you mean
Else walk away or I will & end the charade.
I no longer want everything
Everything is an impossible dream
All who come in our orbit; bring something to the table
And that something is enough; even if that's now how it may seem.
I no longer want flowers
As beautiful as they are, they wither away
I will plant my own garden
A garden that will always brighten my way.
I no longer want to be an option
I want to be a choice
A choice made again & again, every time
I want to be desired, wanted, and needed, but mostly... chosen!
The time we look into each other’s eyes
The feelings between us rise
My heart beat skips at once
Real one will see you
As an art piece
Not for some toy to play with
Real one will listen to you
As an admirer
Not for some tea or gossip
Real one will respect you
As a human
Not for fame or wealth
After a tiring day
Laying on the couch
Having cuddles with you
Sharing the tea, which
I didn’t tell anyone
Having your patience
For my efforts, just
Wanna have your warmth.
He is the one I annoy,
He is the one I like,
He is the one I admire,
He is the one I chose.
Can’t chose others,
Can’t believe others,
Can’t like others,
Can’t bare others.
In another place,
In another time,
In another world,
In another galaxy .
Let’s work together,
Let’s laugh together,
Let’s eat together,
Let’s live together.
