Premium Member cosmic cocktail lounge review

A new nightclub opened up this week on kitty cat lane
the dismal alley and ugly parking lot will never be the same
the kitty cats there are gorgeous, they strut their stuff
I have been there six times already, it will never be enough

My relatives call, but my phone goes right to voice mail
I am busy watching the kitty cats climb up a pole said Dale
They have the sweetest expressions, and tails that swerve
Best of all, they have tiny waists and a marvelous curve.

sandy wooden slats
coconut covered lights
dried out palms
an assortment of bottles
lively bartender who knows my name
I spend Saturday nights here
meeting friends who aren’t really
pretending excitement that I do not feel
I am a bit of a lush,
here is Charlie now

Premium Member Pepe's Coffee Lounge

I was one of the cool set,
navy blue duffle coat, scarf around
my neck, seated at a table
in Pepe's Coffee Lounge
discussing Baudelaire
and T.S. Eliot and the demise
of the political elites.
The conscription ballot hung
over our heads helmeted
in a flowering of uncombed hair
in the winter of 1966.

We thought the world was about
to tip, that the old regime
was coughing its last
on Craven A and Camel cigarettes.
Booze was cheap and jobs
chased us down the street.
In a hundred buried silos,
annihilation was just a push
of a button away.
We partied hard beneath
the threat of that mushroom cloud.

We're old now, sit under the cloud
of our own thoughts, replaying
scratchy, worn out tracks
retrieved from the sleeves
of our neural LP's.
What we tore down back then
has been replaced with more
sinister demons that eat away
at the collective soul.
In the end, everything
is just reabsorbed.
Some of us still frequent
coffee shops and discuss
Baudelaire and T.S. Eliot,
still write poetry,
shed a tear
at the melancholic beauty
of a setting sun.

Take me to the lounge

Take me to the lounge
Black boots
nudie suits
Dressing up like the sky
Razer shaved
Miss behave
Calling your number
A cold cup of coffee
Reminds me to turn back
Latter days into empty space
Wanton saints
Capricious my delicious
My demon-licious
It's worth looking into
There's a better way to think of it
The day just can wait for another
No bets no risks no delicate city chicks
A hand an arm your legs walk away
Today I don't see your face no more
Thoughts all say it's a better way to stay
Once your gone I don't have much to say
Just help a little bit
Passed only when it doesn't cost
You took it way But i broke even
You had no choice
I couldn't hear your voice
I saw you in a dream
We were always friends

The Exquisite Lounge Room Singer Is a Widow

In a dim lounge room,
A band plays to hypnotize all that hear.
Drinks serve to soften normal judgment.
Making it easier to accept your desire.
A white spotlight shines on the center of the stage.
The Widow has appeared,
Lecherous eyes follow her every movement.
Painted lips smile as thick eyelashes dust her cheeks.
She's demure for a moment.
Opening her eyes she looks just at you.
Eyes meeting, you're devoted to only her.
Song after song she sings only for your ears.
Her heart is open for you to claim.
Everyone else in the full lounge is flies
intruding on your moment with her.
Unable to leave your seat, for you may
miss a moment as she sings for you.
No more drinks are served, your thirst is only
for the lounge singer.
There are no windows and you don't hear servers
going in and out the door.
It's to not disturb you,
listen to the band and singer.
Her voice is all around, echoing in your mind.
Before you, she's there
Reach out your hand.
Touching her waist, she smiles and kisses you.
You grin as she swallows you whole for all to see.
Another guest follows after you.

Laughing Lunatics Lounge

Within my psychedelic psychosis divided by hell’s malignant mitosis,
Navigated by narcotized neurosis absorption through opiate osmosis…
Within my lunatic leverage of will, I needed to miraculously madly mill,
The negligent neurons of my ill amidst a faltering fragment of my spill.

My eyes that bear the bevel upon derelict distortions of a devious devil,
Laboring the leprous level of the seismic seizures that I neatly nestle…
In the abyss of my lacrimal laugh, I stand segmental with my satirical staff,
Decorative deceptions on my behalf as I stare at the world a genuine gaffe.

No real resolution to ponder for the quicksand of mind quivers yonder,
A sinkhole of a weeping wander amongst sacrifices of a slaving squander…
Thus in my sanctimonious seclusion within my catacombs of confusion,
The universe disperses diffusion along with programmatic parallel illusion.

Abide in peace:
Love waits for you;
Opt for still ease,
Urge endows dues;
Note the grand ooze,
Give in to cheer;
Enjoy the booze.
Wine flows right here;
Answer sure choice,
Thrill in fond sights;
Charm sets firm poise,
Health follows light;
Explore love's space,
Reflect on grace.

Once a Veep in a V.I.P. Lounge
Laid low till Mary Lynn took the plunge
Then put on airs of Chief
Whipped her in the mischief
Till the Chief threw in the bloodied sponge.

he ate all the godfish
  sushi and became divine.

  lucid celestrial phophorus relecting
off of rigid tables....

wondering..
  temperal halos..
    incandecent filaments...

 Would they outlast him?

 halogen vapor..
       cerebral globe.

a slim shadow figure
 burns into the corner.
