No, I don't want to be alone, but if I'm not alone, I become a selfish soul lost in the crowd, Alone in the arms of others, like a traveler lost without a map among unfamiliar faces, If I'm not alone, I become a martyr of silence or a voiceless flatterer amid the clamor, My soul slowly drowns...

Lost in AAAANOTHER wORLD
I thought that I was living in modern times but something dynamic has crossed my path and I found myself gliding Between the earth and the sky and my spirit start humming a Tune composed from a distance and I glide between the moon and the sun traveling between day and night, it was a magnificent ...

Wings have been lost in the abyss of time, stumps of memories remain suspended on the horizon, shadows dancing before your wandering eyes, you cover them with your palm like a mute spell, you scream into the boundless silence, praying to an absent god, but the silence remains an echo-less abyss, no murmur returns and only the void...

Lost in Superficiality
Such a cruel world, we live in. Everyone's breathing, but some are living. Romance is overrated; love doesn't exist. All smiles for the pictures, happiness in chemicals— dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins. What are we, robots or machines? What happened to humanity? Nowadays, being an open book Is not a good look. Whatever happened to writing compassionate letters, giving time to what truly matters? Such a...

Lost in thoughts and memories I hide away, telling myself get up do something but I do not: get motivated I say within talking to me all day, to shake this doom I have struggled and fought; oh, will the grief of tears end I pray ! How is it that the details of all deaths I have not forgot...

Lost in Thought, A tribute to Poe
Reluctantly I sat abusing Some old and sad familiar musing That for some reason kept refusing To lie quietly A thought that in a moment read Was understood and put to bed But now prancing once more round my head O daring memory Why must thee wallow on the tongue Barren tree with fruit unsprung Tormenting, tempting songs unsung In endless reverie So oft times I've thought...

Lost in the Web
pixels flicker, a cold blue glow, illuminating the ghost of a face, yours, or a stranger's, mirrored back, indistinguishable. endless threads, woven of data, spin a labyrinth, no Minotaur, but a million fragmented selves, each whispering promises, each demanding attention. information cascades, a flood, drowning out the quiet spaces, the pauses where thought might bloom, replaced by the frantic scroll, the endless refresh, a desperate search for something, anything, to fill...

Premium Member There were moments when my prayers were lost in the winds
There were moments when my prayers were lost in the winds, I felt only the turmoil like a troubled sea under a cloudy sky, fears and tears, echoes of deep pains, so deep and lonely, like a boundless abyss. Sorrows beyond understanding, the shadows of night stretched out, like arms of darkness, embracing everything, wars in my soul, battles with icy...

Lost in the Hustle
Clock in, clock out Wake, commute, work, sleep, repeat They say I'm making a living But where in this equation am I alive? Traded my sunrise for spreadsheets My sunset for status reports My laughter for leader boards My dreams for direct deposits We're all running on this hamster wheel Spinning faster just to stay in place "Success" measured in square footage And vacation days we're too exhausted to take They sold us a promise: Work hard now, live later But later keeps getting pushed back Like a horizon we never reach When did we agree That breathing means producing? That existing means earning? That value equals output? My grandmother's hands knew real work Soil under fingernails, calluses with purpose She worked to live I live to work The system whispers: "Just one more promotion" "Just one more year" "Just one more sacrifice" While life slips through fingers Clutching paychecks Making a living What a curious phrase As if living itself Is something manufactured Something we must earn the right to do I want to make a life instead Rich with moments that don't fit on resumes Abundant with connections no algorithm can track Wealthy with experiences no bank can hold Because making a living Without actually living Is the most expensive purchase We never meant to make. ...

Premium Member Lost in my dream
Lost in my dream I love laying you on your back, Your head on the pillow, Legs spread, Open and ready. A kiss to your treasure, So wet and warm, While caressing your wet pussy lips With the digits of my right hand. With my left hand, I hold your tit, Rubbing your nipple As I move down your neck with my mouth. I start sucking on your...

Premium Member Before your voice is lost in the silence that fills the once-shared space
Before your voice is lost in the silence that fills the once-shared space, leave behind not just your absence, but the glow of your kindness like a gentle light, a silent ray that will forever linger in the corners of my heart, unforgotten. May the touch of your hand or the too-brief embrace leave its mark, let your eyes...

Lost in woods
Incessant drizzle soak pith of each and every dense tree in evergreen forest where moss, algae, lichens paints lush hues of green, blue and rich brown While wet birds forget to sing glistening snakes search shelter termites, ants, crawlers, stingers start climbing slippery trees inundated forest floor Near to dusk, a shy sun shaft reaches decayed fallen log adding chill to eerie air a great gray owl looks...

Lost In A Dream
Try to define consciousness you haven’t the tools Try to define instinct the same kind of fool Try to define reason misusing the words Try to define wonder unseen and unheard Try to define sleep when lost in a dream Try to define presence with space — unforeseen (Rosemont College: March, 2025) ...
