I know, love, what we're here for
We both are destined to forever
Looks like a hackneyed metaphor 
But one can try to put it better
Mix the reality with dreams
Like, for example, I can do
Not sure though, if I have seen
All dreams, there’s always something new
Missed or forgotten in a hurry 
But as I enter my love’s

In a world where dreams are frozen in frames, with no time for dreaming,
And the mind struggles, like a captive bird, in the virtual cage of silence.

My mind is drifting back in time today
To the moments we shared together
We captured it for awhile when we were feeling sublime.

I was coming out of an ended relationship
Jaded and confused
I hope you understand I was spent
Had nothing to offer to anyone, nada left to lose
I drove you away when you were heaven sent

I woke up frightened, a girl lost in an abyss of terrifying dreams

Where sweat flows like a rain of stars on the sky of the endless night,
I worry, for I used to not know fear when you were by my side,
But now I feel the shadows of the world reaching silently for my soul,

Lost in a Daze

 On Kensington Avenue, many lose their souls
 Drugs have consumed them, and they've lost control
 They are walking like zombies in search of a high
 They need one more 'hit' just to get by

 They seem to have passed the point of no return
 All hope seems lost, and their bridges burned
 They stay

Toward you I move, with every step lost in the wind that sings stories

Summer sweltered in her summer retreat -
Necking hot and heavy on the back seat.

Summer’s passion did foment -

The echoes- ricocheting off
The mountain walls
Were just a voice
Stuck there for infinity

A voice trapped
Into the tangle of forever
Cursed to repeat 
Whatever noise that is made 

No feelings
No meanings
Just the sound,
Endlessly replaying
Till it stops
Yet never answering

Lost in Translation

in a strange foreign land 
lone outsider
waiting on the sidelines
stumbles upon friendship
and finds comfort
soul to soul

securing a safety net
experiences the freedom to let loose
to laugh and share the freedom to be free
within confines set by the heart
indelibly forging a lasting memory
to take home and treasure always
