Laugh out loud: a good belly blast is good for the soul.
Lots of love:  spreading it is graceful and fulfilling.
Lots of laughs: The more, the merrier.
Losers of Lazarus:  Most of us but not me or you.
Luckiest of luck:  Certainly, I wish this for everyone.
Luscious over luster:  You really shine, baby.
Laidback over lackadaisical:  I really do care.
Lots of lollipops:  why not, I like lollipops.
Land of lambda:  The 11th homie.
Look over lacuna:  Look between the lines.

Love On Line, LOL

Good luck, if you are searching for love on line
Love cannot be brought or sold, real love is found
Haphazardly. There is no pattern, no real bound
No formula, no history, no cup and no special line.

On the internet, one can find countless problems
And hazards. Love can be like a dream, an illusion
Few are blessed and lucky to find exceptional gems
Sparkling on the busy boulevard or on the horizon.

Love, on line, ain’t love. Puppy love is for amateurs
Romeo would have never gone on line searching for
Juliet. Old time lovers used to write romantic letters.

We know that it’s another time. There are beasts that roar
Even when they’re happy. Searching for love on the internet
Is like playing Russian roulette. This is a warning not a bet.

It seems the English language
is going out of style.
Instead we use the alphabet
It’s quicker by a mile.

BYOB we’re asked
when RSVeePing to a friend
whose party, FYI, will show
the newest clothing trends.

The EMTs will come to call
if you have a TIA.
For simple aches and pains 
take an NSAID right away

The EPA’s the one in charge
of environmental strife.
The NRDC’s the one to call
for protection of wildlife.

The DOJ’s domain is law.
At least it used to be
before the present POTUS.
Now I guess it’s TBD.

I woke one morning 
Everyone’s gone
We fell in that rabbit hole
In what we call phones

Gone is the laughter 
It’s all lol
It’s not really funny

I faced this man with whom I had an affinity
This is what I found him express with authority.

You’re handsome, and absolutely adorable
Face emits intelligent sparks of smile stable.

You’re rational, but at times tangentially crank
Your body has an ego-centric language frank.

Your charisma and eclectic elan espouse cheers
The eyes encase rosy dreams, and at times tears.

You’re caring and glow with gregarious grace
If you’re to run to get her, you’ll win the race. 

Enormously elated, I looked close, and lol to see
In the mirror this known man standing before me.

In awkward times spill-over proud.
Fate is no date to fret,
Nor is lent to regret,

In the cave Hearing an echo,
Calling my name name name,

It’s hard because I’m forever engraved,

After life, my soul remains endless

Fourth of July

On a snow covered beach in the middle of Summer
Basking in the gloominess of a dark so much glummer
There lived a cow who the cowboy rode so proudly
As he rode past the horse the farmer was milking loudly
Everywhere he rode, leaves were falling from a blue sky
While the joy of Christmas fell upon the fourth of July
We celebrated the holiday with a hot cup of cocoa
And left gifts around the American flag, a little loco

On a snow covered beach in the middle of July
There came the sound of Silent Night’s sigh
Drifting on the air as dazzling fireworks would deny
Today was the day for even reindeer to belie

insults and threatens people
believes only money is power
spoiled with $100million by age nineteen
bought his education, wife, life, and friends
believes his donations mean he owns the republican party
and thinks that money bought him the white house
threatened marshal law if elections results are not overturned

all this and more in open courts
a president and senators acting like the law does not apply to them

what the hell do these people do behind closed doors
look how brazen these con artists are out in the open
