At the airport
I am stopped by a uniformed man
with strange customs.
Anything to declare?
I have declared everything in my poetry.
How many poems have you, sir?
Oh, about sixty or so.
The legal limit is ten.
You will be charged duty on the rest.
I was charged.
He scribbled a receipt in blank verse.
I got away lightly this time,
he didn’t find the rest.
Thank goodness he did not look
inside my head.
They say the skies
I am told the limit
If the tools to uterlise
Not wasting a second
But l am every minute
Though one still tries
Being in it to win it
Comes as no suprise
Perhaps a loss of spirit
Or closed to it all my eyes
Seems a force of habit
Boy how the time flies
Feel like l am never -
in transit
Taken from a poem called silver lining
Written 2019
My limits have never left me poor
for poverty is not the emptiness of the hand,
but the silence of a barren mind.
A smile, a burst of laughter—these are wealth,
coloring what no eye can name,
where every living soul unfolds without end.
birds fly high
touching the farthest clouds
dreaming of rain drops

I have a friend who uses AI
Like a personal guru, an oracle
Or Answer Grape
Who not only knows all,
But can also tell you
In intricate detail.
But what is the limit of this AI,
What is it that lies beyond its grasp?
In a word; soul.
In an experience; creativity, spontaneity
And the irrational, random and absurd,
Which is the real mark of truth,
The real spark of Life.
What is the ultimate answer Master?
“Mu!”

Greetings friend! Have you heard
of that inquisitive bird?
Could he forever fly
upwards into the sky?
He sure made quite a fuss -
was the sky limitless?
He found otherwise instead
when he bumped his head.
Life is a flame on trembling thread,
A whisper held by breath and light,
Too oft ignored, too lightly said,
Yet blazing fierce through day and night.
We walk on glass with heavy feet,
Unknowing what we crush below —
A moment's joy, a heartbeat sweet,
A soul we'll never get to know.
The morning dew, the sparrow's flight,
The laughter shared beneath a tree —
There are the gems of sacred rite,
Not trinkets tossed so carelessly.
A child's first cry, a final sigh,
The silence that a loss can bring,
All speak in tongues that make hearts cry
And teach us why each life must sing.
Have you not wept for love once lost,
Or knelt when hope was all you had?
Then know how high the living cost,
And feel the weight of every bad.
Yet still we rush, we turn away,
Forget the gift in every face —
When all the stars beg us to stay
In reverence for this fragile grace.
So let us hold with open hands
Each breath, each soul, each fleeting chance,
And see in all the shifting sands
The miracle within the dance.
Worship the now, the sacred beat
Of pulsing blood and rising sun.
For life is short and oh-so-sweet —
Too rare to waste, too swift to shun.

Have a "peaceful easy feeling"
I will be Already gone"
When I leave your "Lyin eyes"
Drinking a " Tequilla Sunrise"
"After the Thrill is gone"
Then "Take it Easy"
Sending the "Best of my Love"
While I still Live "Life in the Fast Lane".

My ear
to the asphalt
My nose
in the wind
My mind
on tomorrow
Escaping
my sins
The road bends
before me
It twists
and it turns
Where truth
waits forbidden
And love stays
unearned
The voices
grow faint
In this gale
to escape
In front
and behind me
Both early
and late
As the mountain
implores me
Still calling
my name
With fate
at its limit
And death
— here to claim
(Dreamsleep: April, 2025)

Don’t drink this
Never eat that
No ‘naked carbs’ now
or you’ll get fat
Too much sugar
too much grease
From fries and pizza
you’d better cease
Limit those portions
Dessert, not a nibble
Else like pudding or jello
you won’t walk, you’ll wriggle
Well I’ve had it, you hear
I’m off my diet at last
‘Cos if I eat any less
I might as well fast
• I'm a sucker for the thrills
• But even I'm at my limit
• That event gave me the worst chills
• My sanity is depletingbit by bit
There's so much more to life/
Than wasting it/
On drugs, alcohol and crime/
Which steals your life away/
Things can get out of hand real fast/
Spur of the moment/
Can cost you your life/
Life is too short to fight/
If you care about life/
Take the time/
To think about things/
Before being stupid/
Life is powerful/
Anything is possible/
Life is the limit/
Make something of it/
Enjoy your life/
Don't live in the guilts of sin/
Reaching for your dreams
living life to the fullest
achieving all goals
Effort is important in whatever you do
Knowing where to make an effort makes
All difference by consistent focus on
The result and things that's effective
Creating way for greater opportunities
When you thought you've seen it all
You've seen nothing until you've toured
The world meet with different people
with different cultures, attitude etc
Only then you'll know it is what it is,
isn't what it is until you dive in deeper
Never limit your mind by thinking or acting
From what they told you, until you've
Seek, know, practice, earn, live.
