Premium Member Propaganda is Alive and Well in the USA

Information is not always true
Even if printed in the newspaper blue
But if it’s on the internet, it is right? Some think
Why would they print lies in permanent ink?

It’s called propaganda, you silly peeps
Subliminal clips brainwash you while you sleep
You are so gullible, our country is a laughing stock
For ten thousand dollars, I can sell you Big Ben’s clock

Oh, my Lord! I'm quite a lonely lamb;
I know not which womb I've come from!
What I speak and do creates hostility.
I know not the difference between
Good and bad, as l learnt it not as a child
Resting my head in my mother's lap!
Having no parent to guide me rightly,
I request you to be by my side always,
And teach me the ways of the world!
Show me the right track to travel on;
Give me the wisdom to be righteous
In my outward expressions, while I speak,
And in my inward reflections, while I think!
Save me from becoming the laughing stock,
And set me to be the apple of people’s eye;
For I crave to taste the bliss of true love!

Dull Reflections

sacrificed on the name of joke
became laughing stock of the group
my friends reflection in the mirror
appears rather dull than bright

rust entered in the open wounds
scars that cover my whole body
friend is a word to use with care
growing ivy does not make them rose

Men In Pink

Pink colors for men
A laughing stock for women
A new fashion trend.

Premium Member feeling appreciated at last

Octopus guy was the laughing stock of the west China sea
Frankly, I thought his colors beautiful, if anyone had asked me
But no one did, because I had become invisible at the age of twenty-three
Preteens and teens run the reef these days, and they do so with glee.
I feel like an old maid, but I run over to check out Octopus Guy, Mr. Bee.
Your orange colors are gorgeous I tell him, and he says he appreciates me.

A fire without falmes

Should I smile, should I cry
I really need to be their ally
What would they like the most
How to get in and be in the "bros"

I am scared they might get upset
What if they didn't like a word I said
Would they approve off this hair and clothes
Or am I about to become a laughing stock

Though I came to the kitchen first
But they want to be the first to quench their thirst
So I will stand by the counter in silence and wait
For all I want is to be at peace and avoid debate

I wish to stop acting dumb and bound
To be the one with a view and mind
To break the shackles of people's assent
But the mind is too in swamp to get out

Gender Based Violence

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Go on and beat me
But atleast not infront of our kids
For they'll not understand
Why you doing this to their mother

"Mum why you crying
Has dad beaten you again
I saw him do it last night
I wish he was never around"

This is what our son told me
I couldn't help but cry
Look at how it affects them
Why can't we just be at peace like other homes

Everyday you come home drunk pockets empty
For you've emptied it on bottles
And the endless trail of laces that got you hooked
Cause you don't see me as attractive as before

But how can I be attractive while all you do,
is pound the leaving hell out of me
It's like my mum stopped beating me while I was young
Only for you to continue it now in my adulthood

Why you so violent, what are you fighting against
Cause most times your war is not with me
You just pick up fights even where they're none
You've made me a laughing stock by our neighbours

Go on beat me
Maybe that's what gives you solace
For it's not enough that you drowning your sorrows
You also drowning all of us, cause our finances are drowning with each bottle

They did not lose but they did not win for they did not meet expectations
damaged goods no longer can they salvage reputations
down they go in the polls when victory feels mighty low
Becoming a laughing stock we love to mock eating crow
Life is over hyped and hardly lived up to
past glories very few can ever break through

Accomplishments do not convince if not looking cool doing it
heavily favorite win by one you are overrated and ho hum
It's not ever having fun but savagely destroying everyone
Never win your a laughing stock win too much hated a lot
Unfair is fair and fair unfair as fickle public opinion snares
win it all and wear the crown but feeling less profound
for the one you defeat laughing last with a clever tweet..

Why
Did I
Get sucked in
Like a big fish
And play with the clowns
There went my rent money
I'm a laughing stock at cards
My life's a big circus as is
The only poker I know is fun
My
Oh my
See my face
After that loss
I'm at loss for words
My insides are empty
My wallet is emptier
My hair's on fire, I need help
Where is my cotton candy lady

Betrayal

The World is quickly changing
As old standards disappear.
There is suffering in the country
But nobody wants to hear.
Once we faced the World
Not quite on our own
The people of our Empire
Stopping us from being alone.

The plucky little island
That took up the fight
Almost defeated by an
Enemy’s military might.
The little boats of Dunkirk,
That indomitable fleet,
Saved a military rout
From being a total defeat.

Battered, bruised, unbroken
We survived to carry on
Regrouping to fight until
The enemy was gone.
Our proud little nation
Fought above its weight
Strong and firm against
Forces of terror and hate.

Where down the line did we
Turn into compliant donkeys
Willing to be led by thieving
Calculating cruel monkeys.
We should now be
All writhing in shame
For betraying those that died
Fighting in Freedom’s name.

I suppose we can only hope
There will in time come the time
We will make them pay for
The Sins of Class War Crime.
As they talk of breaking treaties
Abuse and insults being hurled,
Our nation’s prestige drops and we
Become laughing stock of the world.

Exhale

The tides are dark driven,
The waves are not fair,
Like black mamba on defensive position,
Life could strike.

Your hope could be an earthen vessel,
Your problems.. Thor's hammer,
Your life's wire could be a flat tyre,
And your troubles a nailed track.

Calm down..
Breathe..
EXHALE..
This is not the end.

When you become a laughing stock,
Only good enough to laugh at,
Your name bringing witty whispers,
And spark gossips.

When your joy is just a tear drop,
And your sorrows a thirsty dried dessert,
Your bliss is a snack,
And your worries a lion's lack.

Calm down,
Breathe,
EXHALE.
This is not the end.

The destination is a million mile,
And you seem to be on snail speed,
One day you will look at the destination,
And be grateful for the journey.

So calm down,
Breathe,
EXHALE..
This is not the end.

memory flickers
body withers and limbs ache
old age a villain

now that you are rather old and spent
look in the mirror, I recommend
before stepping out
lest somebody may shout
sir, please! Your pant’s buttons, attend!

precaution needed- or else you may become a real laughing stock

Premium Member Dear Teacher Tenure

Dear Tenure for Teachers,

You need to abolish yourself.
Be honorable and do the right thing.
Overdose on morphine or jump off a cliff into a den of wild wolves.
The good teachers do not need you.
You are around to help the ones who need to leave the profession.
You have saturated our profession with unprofessionalism.
In any other business, the ones who are inept, lazy, and chronically late are dismissed.
Fired, sent home, given a pink slip.
You have ruined our profession, made us a laughing stock.
Please take your leave, vamoose, disappear.
Do the right thing. Be honorable for the first time ever.

Signed, a Teacher who Cannot Imagine
Why we Developed Tenure in the First Place

Who I Am

The quiet girl with a gentle smile , is it me

No thats my replica designed by me

I am not what you all have seen

Yes what I depict is indeed a fake image for all who ask

I am your voice hidden under this mask

For others school might be place to meet with friends, but for me it's a hell which I have to bear

Teachers are amazing but students are what I fear

Teachers never judge you, tease you or talk behind your back

But there are always pupil who are blessed with this Knack

They think I am a crybaby and take me as an emotional fool

But I know I am a fighter who always try to act cool

They take me as a laughing stock and forget

No I am not hurt as I know I am the reason for someone's laugh

I don't need your pity as I dont want to reek of sympathy

Others may be my sadness but I am relaxed for I am their happiness

That's what I am , that's what I truly am
