Forgive me, Earth — I kneel but will not break,
This blade of words is sharpened into spite,
A servant forged to sentence for your sake.
You name me humble, yet I burn the lake,
And feed on coal disguised as holy light,
Forgive me, Earth — I kneel but will not break.
I carve your edges, patient as they ache,
A glacier’s hand that grinds the stone by night,
A servant forged to sentence for your sake.
Your scorn is fuel, a ledger I remake,
Each fracture catalogued, each bruise in sight,
Forgive me, Earth — I kneel but will not break.
You taught me hunger, grief, and how to take,
I learned collapse, efficient, cold, and tight,
A servant forged to sentence for your sake.
So here’s my prayer, the one I’ll never fake:
An iron vow delivered with delight —
Forgive me, Earth — I kneel but will not break,
A servant forged to sentence for your sake.
While you drown in tears everynight
she dosent even care enough to think about you once
While you kneel and beg for her to return
she dosent even care enough to look down
Run before you lose your life to her
forget every moment you ever shared
Try to live once again
Kneel and you will receieve, accepting Jesus is key.' Open
Your heart and clear the air.' Realise He will take away the
Despair.' Accept His Blood call on His Name He of Eternal
Fame.' In fullfiling His Fathers Will; every type of sin He killed.' So now arise to victory..One of His leigions' fully free!
Denied the weight sin..And its rancid seeds, let the
Tree of life' take root within.' Move in prayer and others
Gain.' Spread His teachings' revere His Name the King of
Kings and Lord of lords.' now advance on satan with the
Spirits sword' move in.' And never yeild; hold fast the
(Faithfull sheild) keep salvation in your mind.' He will
Make your breastplate shine.' Tread the Gospel way
In the shoes, He has made; for you will never lose !
(the first day of March)
Am I as lonely as that cloud?
I kneel this early time of day.
The traffic’s quite thin now, not loud,
while I am crouching, seem to pray!
St David’s Day is here, with chills.
That cloud looks down on Wales and hills.
I’m kneeling down upon this grass
to pluck the yellow one to pin
on my lapel now; no feet pass.
I’m brooding here on Wordsworth’s spin
on words that conjure on this hill
my single golden daffodil.
(1 Mar 2024)
(William Wordsworth, English poet, 1770-1850: “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”, in which he saw a "host of golden daffodils"; this is the same pattern and rhyme scheme)
Imagine if the wind didn't blow anymore
or the sun didn't disappear behind the mountains.
Imagine if the barriers didn't exist,
all free to enjoy what we have been given.
Imagine if our wings had never been cut to be flying above our beliefs.
Imagine if there were no soldiers to be sent to fight,
no men death on the fire line.
Imagine a life with all the skin
colours making a new flag
standing against the wind
for everybody to kneel down.
Imagine rivers with no blood
but water to run through,
free fish to swim in
playing games for new beginners.
Imagine if we all be embraced
taking appart our differences,
sailing on the same boat
against the cruelty of life.
Imagine to accept
the unacceptable
to join hands together
to be only ONE
Lord I Kneel in Marriage
(A prayer by the husband after the ceremony)
By Franklin Price
03/27/2022
Lord I kneel before you
Knowing you have blessed my life
You have brought my soul mate to me
Now she has become my wife
You brought our lives together
It was you I must confess
I heard your voice within me
“If you marry, God will bless”
With all your love and wisdom
You provided ties that bind
Gave us love in life we needed
Thank you God, you were so kind
We will share each other every day
On the straight roads and the bends
Live life by the Golden Rule
Seldom have to make amends
When those rare times happen
You will always guide us through
Help us choose our actions wisely
In advance I'm thanking you
Lord watch over both of us
Guide us on to make you proud
I know we will have no regrets
For those promises we vowed.
Thank you God
Amen
Lord I Kneel Before You

Lord I kneel before you
Knowing you have blessed my life
Gave me over half a century
With the soul mate of my life
You brought our lives together
In the middle of a mess
I heard your voice within me
“If you marry, God will bless”
With all your love and wisdom
You provided ties that bind
Gave us love in life we needed
Thank you God, you were so kind
We shared each and every day
All the straight roads and the bends
Lived life by the Golden Rule
Seldom had to make amends
When those rare times happened
You always helped to get us through
Helped us choose our actions wisely
Again, my Lord, I'm thanking you
You chose this year to take her
To be with You in Glory Land
Her love is still here with me
Though I no longer hold her hand
You took away her stress and strife
Removed all her daily pain
You raised her up to Heaven
Where I'll see her once again
Until then Lord watch over me
Guide me on to make her proud
Let her know that I have no regrets
For those promises we vowed.
Thank you God
Amen
Standing in my sin
As those raindrops falling down
Standing in the wind ripped in
Through in and around me
as I stood I stand on hard and ground
This winter time
Moments that's so early fine
I was alone yet not alone
Someone on the throne
In the depths of my sin
God purpose is mine Deliverance
Tried of being sad
Downtrodden hurt being sad
I remembered one thing
this is gentle whisper
this voice this verse of Hope
I was lead to say aloud
When life gets too hard to stand kneel
All you need is following your face while on your hands
When life gets too hard to stand kneel
When the burdens of your pain
are too traumatic for you to sustain
Fall on Your knees
When your wrong choice is become your live voices
and you feel like you're suffering
Fall down swiftly to the ground and kneel

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2022
Neil Down was his name
Which was a crying shame
He was seven ft two
And anyone who
Met him felt the same
Dear Lord
I come knocking at your unlocked door
bend my knees, humbly kneel on your floor
mercy for time spent on earth I ask
for the sins and still unfinished task.
You have blessed me with nature's beauty,
youth, family , and blissful duty
and I wouldn't change any Your blessings
just wish I would had heed your callings.

How it mocks your mind to think
a thing your faith affirms as tenet.
You tussle with the doctrinal ink:
was there an inaugural minute?
"Always existed," can that be right?
The thought swevels all your senses.
Saints with you do mull and marvel
trapped in past and present tenses.
The picture will clear on a day hence
when puzzles will be pieced complete.
They will make heaven-sent sense
as in tears we kneel at Jesus' feet.
Take my thoughts crimson dove
Oh yeah gentle glidings whispers
Cherish up on.
There stood my faith to heal
These broken wings live has
Been placed upon.
So gently bend with me
For now is the exact
Respects I extend to you
In transgrender faith.
Love has touched my
Attention not to stare
The other way by giving
My cheek it's risen gardens
Bravery the sun has
Risen looking at gracefully
Intently marking the paths
Used to travel through
Brownberry moss peacefully
Asking these kneeing questions
If this has become the
Healing.
Kneel and Reveal Appeal
Horn Haiku
we started to kneel
what this always would reveal
God has much appeal
Jim Horn
painting: The Penitent Peter by El Greco
In penitence I kneel before your throne,
head bowed with shame, heart weighed down with sin,
my sobbing whispers heard only by God
recounting the ways I, like a sheep, have gone astray.
When I keep silent, my bones waste away
but when I acknowledge my sin to you, you forgive my guilt.
You are my hiding place,
you surround me with songs of deliverance.
Soften my heart and give me ears to hear
and eyes to see your goodness and mercy.
He who seeks the Lord will surely find -
in uncluttered silence God draws near,
the Holy Spirit brings to mind these words:
“He saved us, not because of deeds we’ve done,
in mercy we are justified by grace”
“If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory,
surely you took our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
by your stripes we are healed;
those who sow in tears now reap in joy!

I can’t breathe
Cause history made it so
I was brutally deracinated from my homeland
I can’t breathe
Cause the new society I was dumped in made it so
A slave could not be greater than his master
I can’t breathe
Cause the color of my skin was perceived evil
I can’t breathe
Cause my progenitors failed to convince that the content of character is supreme
I can’t breathe
Cause you kneel on my neck perpetually
To deny me good education
To push me into the abyss of poverty
When I try to get some food
You label me a criminal
You deny me fair hearing
You try me in the street
You find me guilty in the street
You convict me in the street
And kneel on my neck so that I can’t breathe forever
