MY ADDICTION

My addiction;
You're my addiction
Always with me
By me wherever I go
Whenever I'm alone
All the time beside and around me
My only companion
Accompanying me whenever in jeopardy.

You stripped me off
Everything I owned
Unaware to me
Just not to get rid of you
Can't live without you
My addiction
I'm lost in and with you forever.

The more of you
Not enough
The more craving
Forever the thirst
Longing endlessly
For you without seizing
Aren't you the sweetest!
My addiction.

Double Jeopardy

Don't feeling victim
If you know you're the culprit
It's jeopardizing.

The Jeopardy Suit

If there was a suit
A suit of sensors
Aware of your actions
Following your mind, your movements
A jeopardy suit
That killed you with a lethal injection
When an imaginary galleon hit you with cannon fire
Or you clipped a stealth fighter’s wings with your own
Or crashed your tank in an ambush
Would you wear it?
Would you wear the jeopardy suit?
Are you already wearing the jeopardy suit?

Premium Member Peace And Freedom

With the Academy Awards now over the world must focus on the bad actors
With so many hot spots around the world, and so many threats out there we have to factor
We can no longer keep up with all the people who want to bring us harm
Our very way of life is in jeopardy, time to sound the alarm
Anger with us from so many fractions, what can we do to change this theme
We need to make this nightmare into a pleasant dream
To conquer evil all the law-abiding nations must band together
We must end these countries' pursuit of terror
Fighting back with all our power and strength must be understood
They only want one thing and that is to eliminate us for good
If this sounds familiar you need to look no further than the world wars
Let's all stand up to all the bad actors worldwide
Peace and freedom throughout our nations, we must do all we can to keep it alive

Premium Member Albatross Feather in Jeopardy

Written: April 18, 2024

                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another atrocity: letting stone or lime tears slick.
A majestic sight—an albatross-nurturing chick.
Midway Island, where strings were hung.
Birds covet between land and sea for their young.
They saw a feast, a bounty to witness.
Human waste of all kinds is not worth swiftness.
A dwarf chick gently waits till his parents return.
A fragile bird wept, fleeing from an unseen spurn.
Below their skeptical gaze, the chick played.
His parents, as warden angels, never strayed.
They opened their mouths and started to eat.
In agony, they wept, shaking as if life retreat.
Longing for a life, the birds once yearned.
They began to sing their hymn of peril termed.
Survivors are clueless that men spread lethal flu.
With a split heart, I stand in shame, void, and blue.
Sans doubt, man is a fool—no care nor claim.
A tender poise between empathy and blame.
Whoever enacts a crime will bear the shame.
Is it too late for any of us who are aware to tame?
Falling
Into him,
Mysterious
Insight embracing
Feelings, exciting hearts
Flames in bold scarlet, rising
Like the morning startling the night
Freeing the soul from its darkness, love
Erasing all worries, the tears destroyed
By winds of yesterday’s grace, subsiding
Providing the nerve and strength needed
The dream traps doubt in its clutches
Freeing the mind to believe,
Feeling beyond our grasp,
Light falling softly,
Pleading whispers
Insights, stars
Twinkling
Fears
How oft’ have you been told,  to not
rock the boat!
Just go along as an obedient, mute
billy goat.
Just chew on the green, fresh, cud,
Or smile always , be it in rain or in
thick mud.
This may be peachy keen for goats
you see.
But we are special, we are humanity.
When our  brothers freedom and rights
are being stolen.
We must stand as one, for tis the God of
the Universe to which we are beholden!
Double Jeopardy
"Double Jeopardy"
Behind the clouds
the sky is always blue
the rain leaves
love returns
like an Ocean
to kiss your shores
washing mind
and heart clean
you write your
messages in the sands
they dissolve
double jeopardy
a new life begins
Nothing I like more than a good Jeopardy show
The clues, many complex, on that answer board,
Two challengers trying to make the champion go
Betting in final what they think they can afford.
Jeopardy, in case you don’t know, is a trivia game
Given answers, players respond with a question,
For many years Mr. Alex Trebec hosted the same
Now avid watchers tune in each day with passion.
Particularly entertaining is a long-running champ
And excitement builds as challengers get tough
Some, like Ken Jennings, could’ve set up camp
But in the end, for him, too, the going got rough!
Such a pleasure to see the old records fall away
As new players arrive on the scene with clout
I love to see young people get excited to play
More when one of them takes a champion out.
Premium Member Basic Jeopardy Facts
A circle has no beginning and no end
An elbow has only one way to bend,
A triangle always has only three sides
No one knows where a platypus resides,
All totaled, a piano has eighty-eight keys
When you kneel, you get on your knees,
The clock ticks once for every second
Do you know the meaning of “fecund?”
Jeopardy and Other Awkard Words
Those who are difficult are always difficult to understand.
We never know what they mean or wmay ant to mean.
Confused, confounded and  contagious are words which
adequately describe all of our current times.
Jeopardy is another significant
Why would you want to put someone else's lif in jeopardy?
What and who gave you to right to do this anyway.
Only God can truly, honestly answer these questions.
Amen
Meratus In Jeopardy
Mammals cried on the domestic site.
They were pursued by homeless shelters.
A calamitous plan destroyed the primate.
Declaring war creeped on mining wheelers.
Deforestation triggered ruins.
They left a ministerial threat.
Incendiary propaganda mouthed great.
The rules crawled havoc with it.
State gave them a baleful coat.
Nocent chemical found it.
Premium Member Hosting Jeopardy
Jeopardy fans are asking, “What the heck?”
While the producers try to replace Trebek.
I understand they are working harder still,
But, so far, no one has appeared to fit the bill.
How can it be so hard to find a candidate
Who has a modicum of ability to moderate?
When guests are the real stars of the show,
It’s not the host, but what contestants know
They could dub in an A.I. robot, for all I care,
It’s contestants who knock me out of my chair
I will support whomever they ultimately get
Meanwhile I watch re-runs and do not fret!
