Heart
intents
that love flows
in the veins and
soul absorbs all pain
shadows of past dislimn
ushering to a future
of innocent naiveté
where the infinite horizons meet
as the circle of life and death completes

Premium Member Motives to Confront

Selfish aims in kindness-guise… I dare to confront
As my soul welcomes challenges with hope
Triumphantly while thankful spirit does cope
Surmounting trials of grievous affront.

Targets midst secret deals… I strive to check
As my heart submits to divine truth’s worth
Exposing transgressions against fake mirth
Repenting for pardon that conquers wreck.

Carnal goals with their deceit… I ought to face
As my mind is illumined by God’s light
With assured vision for heavenly flight
Toward courage to walk tall, blest with grace.

Motives reflecting shame… I need to see
As my faith learns to perceive genuine glow
Against hypocrisy, pride of false show
Living in wondrous love with freedom glee.

Intents lurking as ghosts… I must not fear
As my Lord assures His presence of peace*
Governed by great wisdom that cannot cease
Securing me while others gladly cheer.

*Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Premium Member God Made My Bed This Morning

God made my bed this morning
Of course, I made my bed, but God planned according
God ordains all things, (good or bad, all things)
Yes, even the Drill Sergeant’s inspection to see if my bed springs
(All y’all will know what that means, if you know what I mean)
Does that mean God is evil?
No, He predestines all things and figures in our free will
That’s right, God predestines our free choices
(even when the duvet is not quite poi-fect)
God made my breakfast this morning
Of course I made my own, He provided all things, conforming
He provides all things up to and while, and the continuing
(He sees the seeing and knows the knowing, the end, and the beginning)
So, whatever you do, do unto the Lord
Because He’s in control, so be onboard
As in Pacto Arco Iris, so it is in all God’s covenants
As our God is moving by thwarting Satan’s intents
So, as you go about your day
Have comfort knowing God has planned the way
Even your free choices fit into His plan
For every child and women and every man

Praise the King of saints

New York times and Washington post, better watch
The reports in the columns you host, keep within any
Remit, for the wokesters wish to poke' specially those in
The big-house, who'll treat as serious any old joke'
Don't be tilting at thir windmills, or landing any clouts'
Being negative on e v's like 'just asking about? How
They go real dead in winter, blow a fuse in deeper floods'
Keep burning on' though fire brigade extinguishers run out
How their weight causes pot-holes how they belt hard other
Cars, that they're becoming liabiltys in the world
And here; both near and far.! Far be it from you to truth tell
Just remain within the lies..Keep on massaging those figures.'
All those 'old lockdown blighs' cause you really don't matter
Or your families and friends, you bury the corpses and
Press freedom.' even the intents.' You'll be part of the problem'
And you'll pay so very dear, when they draw up all the rules
Then you'll know.. 'you once; were free' free to save many
People and countries..The many lands you have sold out..You'll
Be colouring the pavements, fir there your talent you will tout.'

Premium Member Prayer

We should pray, I have been praying more.'
I am maybe..Or was maybe not a strong
Prayer.' Yet I am becoming more aware of
Its major position in the setting of faith.'
I have been warching for instance the family
Of 'Rev Tom Horn' i don't know of his particular
Conviction in Chritianity.? Yet if he is saved.?
Which to all intents he is, the prayers appear
Superflous..' Yet in our human frailty we pray.'
As I have indeed bowed my head with his
Family, and prayed moved by the devotion i
See, So this highlights more the need to pray in
To unresolved situations of life in general if
I look back 30 40 50 years ago, the Christian
Nations Would have been called to prayer on
Occasions of tradgedy disease war threats.'
I can't speak for other religions.' I address that
Which I know most of.' So we see a different
World.' A supposedly more inclusive world.?
However what are the 'inclusions? And do they
Cause strength? I note in diamonds they are
Not. Desired' what of us.?

The Penny Has Dropped

What if
the penny has dropped
but I neither saw nor heard it
so for me
to all intents and purposes
the penny has not yet dropped
and never will
not knowing this
I wait in vain
and wonder why
the fates
the gods
serendipity
are ignoring me
did I do something wrong
am I not worthy
so I take on board
this skewered reality
this misconception
and live my life accordingly
waiting
forever waiting
for that which has already occurred.

Premium Member Navigating Through Life's Highway

Hurdled is life’s highway to every milestone:
Detours, traffic woes~ impediments to goal,
Perturbing in hindrances that endlessly groan
Searching exit ramp to soothe anguished soul.

Though memories of yore, of pain bemoan,
Benevolence of today vows to mold morrow,
Prodding fate of future~ opaque, unknown,
Defying grievous intents in ill-will of sorrow.

Wished for earnestly, life is a cherished dream,
An exuberance of spring, of burbling stream,
A meaningful exploration of endearing theme;
Mystical, phenomenal, halo of mirthful gleam.

Life is a fleeting dot on scale of eternal time,
A journey of courage, yet harbinger of fears;
Gracefully revering the echoes of lifetime,
Whether reveling in joy or lamenting in tears.

Rejoice in life’s sunset, rejoice in life’s sunrise,
Greet charming smiles, yet ignore not its sighs,
Celebrate spring’s birth, mourn autumn’s demise,
Cheer life’s welcome, dwell not in goodbyes.

Grey Power Rules, Ok

It was a day of chaos
The day the pensioners struck,
Massed Mobility Scooters moving
Forward like a Rugby Union ruck,
Blocking all the streets
In the centre of town,
To all intents and purposes
Closing the city down.
The police were very tolerant,
Withdrawing their attack
After more than one officer suffered
From a wielded walking stick's whack.
The atmosphere changed
Soon after that
Lots of bonhomie
Banter and chit chat.
The action was called offi
Promptly at five to three
Thus allowing each
To be home in time for tea.
The action wasn't called
For any cause or good:
No it was carried out
Just to show they could.
Massed Mobility Scooters moving
Forward like a Rugby Union ruck.
It was a day of chaos
The day the pensioners struck.

Ordeal By Shop

I'm just off into Marks and Sparks
My own dear lady had said
In sheer panic I went and nodded
Instead of shaking my head.

She picked up a blouse
Asked did I think it looked nice
And there I was on the spot
Just in a little trice.
I never quite know
What to say for the best
Does she really want to know
Or is it just a test,

Is my opinion really needed
Or is it just her intention
Just to make sure
I'm fully paying attention.
Confused and struck dumb
And not sure of her intents
I made my excuse and headed
For the safety of the Gents.

I'm just a simple bloke who doesn't
Understand fashion coloir and shades
And a wrong or hasty word could have
Sent me to my own personal Hades.
It's a terrible ordeal
Which keeps a bloke on the hop
When he mistakenly accompanies
His other half to a ladies dress shop.

I can cook and I can clean
Do my share I must confess
But for love of God don't ask me
Help you choose a dress

The Lawn

The voluntary gardeners
Placed signs along the fence
Announcing that they’d given up,
Despite their best intents.

“We can’t maintain this lawn because,
Though signage says No Pets,
The owners let their dogs run wild,
Displaying no regrets.”

Perhaps these words have hit the mark
As those in charge have dealt
A reprimand that’s harsh enough
For guilt to have been felt.

For lately, there have not been any
Pets upon that lawn,
Though it may be too late for any
Grass to grow upon.

IN THE MIRROR OF LIFE

In Mirror of Life, reflections,
span a lifetime of tears.
Reflects moments of pure courage,
and … embarrassing fears.

Its reflections aren’t enlargements,
of deeds both good and bad.
It’s what it truly is, memories,
we can’t change … a tad.

Bible is like God’s “life mirror,”
reflects our heart’s intents.
Discerns the words, to others speak.
reveals … just what we meant.

In the Mirror of Life, I pray,
that what God sees, sees true.
LIfe, full of gratitude, and hope.
and prayers … I prayed for you.

GOD be praised and thanked for His Word*
We acknowledge as Spirit’s sword
declaring “Thus saith the Lord…
The Bible --- Scriptures of grace-ford!

Assuring soul's great salvation
God's Word anchors our redemption
As well as sanctification
Enabling our transformation!

Always at work in fellowship
With the Lord's truth-braced leadership
Gearing our faithful stewardship
And triumphant praise-filled worship!

Indeed working for reaching-out
While sharing Gospel without doubt
Illumining for heaven's route
Midst joyous hallelujah shout!

*Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
