I watched a lorry
coming down the Route de Lesterps.
One of those rumbling lumbering lorries
that so disturbed your morning sleep
and for an instant, a moment’s thought,
I wanted
to dash out between our cars
to run into its onrushing path
to come to you
to leave behind the pain
the need to know
to know not the how
but the inexplicable why.
In the end, I stood there
and watched it pass,
I counted the raindrops as they fell
and as time restarted
turned and returned to our home.

The kingfisher is the diving tip of a rainbow,
a chromatic splinter,
a deadly certainty
piercing sky and water.
All morning it has perched high atop a dead tree.
The sun rose softly (good for fishing),
but now it glares and deflects the eye,
yet
here in this swift instant, a gaudy arrow of light,
plucks a small silver fish out of nowhere,
rises
until it is not even a shadow,
for a harsh sun has already hid it.
No one loves me
May life come upon us
an empty jar on the table, a blueish cheek
there is only confusion
there is only loss
Why?
No one loves me
May life come upon us
the shadow fades
an instant, a day
there is only illusion
Why?
No one loves me
Soul
a flash, a day
gone with the wind
there is only sorrow
gone with the wind
May the bottomless pit come upon us
No one loves me
Sigh!

A week woman cries and hollers fusses and skalks
That she has nobody
A weak woman will settle for any someone to caress
A physical bond then calling
That true love the weak woman burden
Strong she acts and carries on
Instead of finding her a man who's strong
One who serves God
One who's not perfect yet follows his heart
His hearts with Jesus
Jesus And God a weak woman will settle for anything and not
Not have any standards
A week woman with bond with her arms instead of her spirit and soul
Our minds intellect she does confess
Puts her in such a ratchet mess
a weak woman
Will fall falter falling down
A weak woman will stay underground
a weak woman
Shall fade away
Unless you repents and returns to the fray
You are God's daughter and you have standards
And yes you matter you are so stand up be strong
Being on high flight the wings of an eagle
Around your neck rise up honor your Father
For you are not a weak woman and you know your the daughter
A princess being this instant a strong Woman Of God Hallelujah

Never shall I love again
why, cause no forgiveness,
to forever plague;
a crumbling stone on the table, a golden soul;
Never shall I love again;
for it is written,
gone with the wind;
an instant, a flash;
How frugal the task?
Just like blowing, blown gone with the wind;
Never shall I love again;

E y e saw you
in the loveliest
of dreams.
Your eyes met mine;
instant a t t r a c t i o n!
love bloomed like...
r o s e s.
I borrowed
love songs...
from the birds
and taught your...
s o u l how to sing them;
magical happenstance;
d r e a m....
to last a lifetime!

Tiny am I to be left out
Small and wondering where I am now
A spot a speck a dot seen quick
Tiny am I dwindling down
A point a miss a target that is
Small and wondering where I am now
Seen only through a telescopic point of view
An instant a moment of quickness
Tiny am I a star in the sky
Small from afar with open eyes
A blaze a flare of starlight
Tiny am I a shooting star
All that has happened seems so magical
All rhymes arouse the same old ardent feel
To bring back the aura that seems so light
Ears kept awake and listened with delight
It’s the rhythm that has revealed it all
It’s the rhythm that still linger in all
Into the ears and all through the heart I
Could only close my eyes and listen calm
Oh Raindrops sliding slowly through the pane
Ash hued nature added to its splendor,
That instant a chill passed through spine n that
Instant my being got dissolved in thine
Oh! What a wonder! How I surrender
Still to the tune as pure as a dewdrop …
All that has happened seems so magical
All rhymes arouse the same ardent feel
To bring back the aura that seems so perpetual
Ears kept awake to listen to the musical
It’s the rhythm that revealed it all
It’s the rhythm that still linger in all
Into the ears and all through the heart I
Could only close my eyes and listen to the tune
Raindrops sliding slowly through the pane
And the ash hue of nature all added to its splendor
That instant a chill passed through the spine
That instant my being got dissolved in thine
Oh! What a wonder! How I surrender
Still to the rhythm I once held so dear…
City light dazzle
In the eyes of man
However, nothing but the admiration
For universal radiance can arouse
The deepest of souls
A millennium of design
Bound together in blackness
Stretches world-wide
To join all as one
A galaxy of glittering sequences
Splatters of whitish streak across the heavens
At one instant a bright ball of fire
Shoot miraculously out of a silent block hole
Trailing earth bound
Only to mysteriously disappear
Illumination pours out of a spear
Suspended in darkness
Invisible lines sketch dotted pictures together
Telling stories of the unknown
As life itself flows through my veins
The divine energy encases the earth
Giving hope of peace and tranquillity
Poetry happens when you least expect it
It seems to come from out of nowhere
Poetry happens when you are driving
It happens when you are walking
When you're lying in bed
or on the phone talking
Poetry happens
That's why I believe poems
Aren't written they're given
How else do you explain
Their spontaneous creation
In an instant a poem can come to mind
Most times it's origin is hard to define
Their random occurrence
Lends credence to my believe
That first poems are given
And then they are written
That's why poetry happens
When you least expect it
Sitting at my window, watching the clouds pass by,
I smile on the outside...while my insides only cry
Walking down the street, my head hangs in despair
Wandering...Seeking...For a soul to care
There is a demon I have, I face it everyday,
A monster, Killing my spirit, as my soul withers away
Then suddenly...as I am ready to cave,
I face on that day, my little boys grave
Saddened and lost without him here,
That day is remembered...I held him so near
As the tears fall, and my insides turn,
My heart is needing relief from this burn
I sit talking to him, fighting despair,
Wishing so badly, he could only be here
Then I kneel down to kiss his grave,
This inner peace for so long I have craved
It came in an instant, a moment we share
With the warmth of his spirit I feel everywhere!
A passing instant, a sharp memory,
In a crowd our eyes met, exchanging vows.
The moment passed and she was borne away...
So I search knowing not the wheres or hows,
While on th'edge of a dream, she waits for me.
Life in an instant, a blip
A rockets fuel cylinders spent
Through the vastness of time, a footprint
In the grand scheme of things, just a dent
Still unique to this planet, perhaps universe
So self aware, blessing or curse
To know you're so small, yet potential so great
Live life with love, throw away hate
Care for the poor, hungry mouths fill
Don't live with regret, that most bitter pill
Reach out, feel, care and give
Fulfill this limited time we live
Greed and envy will not satisfy
Or fill the void you're hiding inside
The truest reward, goes beyond earthly realm
Travel to Heaven with God at the helm
a serene light entered the room
I'd catered to the empty brass chalice
near the crowded foyer the light guided me
beyond my self consciousness fondly I'd awaited
a sultry vibe in an instant a brilliant groove
bestowed the untimely hue approaching my senses
while this light moved forward dancing daintily
between solace and mirth suddenly the light began to
release an enriching glow that consumed me
like a garment of warmth tenderly I sighed
craving the mere brightness of a sullen calm
