Vive La Difference

After all these years
I'm the same as I ever was
still a child at heart
(plus some older parts)
I've not changed because
what was important to me then
is also true today
nothing and no one
will ever sway my way
yet unlike so many
who know not their station
and only identify themselves
by their occupation
I'm aware of who I am
it determines what I do
don't need a certificate
to prove anything to you
we may not see identically
or exactly the same
but I can agree to differ
diversity is the name of the game

Myself

Thought by thought
Word by word
Piece by piece
I will put myself together

Because I am reborn
Loud and fiery
Colorful and sane, this time
I will reshape myself

No, I don't need your help
Swaying I will succeed
Laughing I will speak
I will adore myself

Free as a bird
Spirit of the wind
I will adopt
And I will become myself.

Premium Member Beyond the Veiled Gaze

The world has tried to cast her down,
To bind her spirit, with a frown.
To dim her light, to hide her grace,
Beneath a veil, a hidden place.

But she will rise, beyond the veil,
Her voice will ring, her spirit prevail.
The veiled gaze, it cannot hold,
The fire that burns, the story told.

She breaks the mold, she takes her stand,
A woman strong, a helping hand.
Beyond the veil, she sees the sun,
Her journey's started, it's just begun.

Premium Member I Identify

I identify as the best
Said the second angel in command,
it is not fair that I don't have
supreme control on demand!

I identify as a snake,
hissed the Father of lies,
I can bring the humans what is missing
I will talk with my voice not hissing!

I identify as the youngest child
said the Shepard boy,
this here is my sling shot
it is only a toy!

What is this I hear?
I just don't understand!
God disagrees with my identity,
and sees a kingly man!

I identify as just a girl
and married I am not,
but I am pregnant with a child
God identified me as a chosen lot.

I identify as Jesus
and I come to the world in human form.
I identify as Jesus
and I will tell you “I Am.”

I identify as broken and tattered,
said the mom whose world was shattered,
but deep in my heart I know
my Father in has has identified me as whole!

Identify True Love

No one can deny
Love exists everywhere
Without which survival is rare
Some reveal through words
Others by offering gifts
Soldiers sacrifice life for nation
Very few dedicate for soul satisfaction
Some show up by helps
Few anticipate in return
Love can never be hidden
Tears reveal your true love
Which makes our earth revolve
Parents' love is our existence
That's our present tense!

Mistaken Identify

Jerri had a funny doggie
Who saw his shadow. Yep, so scary!
Barked, “Ribbet”. Sounded froggie?
Jumped high to fly. Would not tarry!
Ran home to nap. Did exit groggy!

Premium Member Amplify Beautify Calcify Identify Notify

A poem comes unbidden into my head.
I did not anticipate, ask for or expect it.
I write down five words.
Amplify, beautify, calcify, identify, and notify.
There is no struggle.

I stare at them, wondering what gibberish this is.
A foreign language makes more sense right now
One that I have never spoken and do not recognize.
My muse tries to get pushy with me.
Making me angry, so I shut down.

A voice suggests I could keep these words for later.
This infuriates me. How dare they try to control me.
I tear amplify, beautify, calcify, identify and notify into bits.
Determined not to think a whit about them
But here we are
So I guess that did not work.

Head Or the Heart

"For each of us there are different meanings,
When I say the word, ”feeling”

Is your first thought,
From the head or heart

About a pain or ache,
Or emotions to separate

Happiness,
Or sadness

From the thrill of an event,
Or bubbled tears of lament

To have lost or won,
Something or someone

Felt inside,
Loss or pride

How it emotes,
Screams or chokes

Our voice from the air,
It’s sound dependent on how much we care

For how we want things to be,
Always hoping for victory

That the head and the heart match up,
So we can accept, what each teach us

To provide what we are needing,
A clearer understanding of our feelings"

I Am

Im not that lady loved by all,
Dont wishing diamonds or precious gold.
Im not that one who likes to prettend
Dont wish to wear any diamond ring.

I am that simple ,love simple life living
With a bamboo house,surrounded of
Wonderful garden.
I am that easy to love but easy get hurt,
Im so sensitive but i cant blame myself.

The way i am isn't perfect
No doubts in my mind
Im different i guees
But i guees idont mind.
But iknow somewhere out there
Is only for me.
My sneakers,my jeans
My fancy jewelry.
So goodbye past im in the roll
to have or to hold.
I am what what i am
I m nobody !
But real to be me.

Unidentify But Identify Terrorist

Although you revealed your identity
But no one to catch you.
Why are you so wicked?
You so called terrorist.
Ask me what you did?

It seems you don’t have
Human feeling!
Where you not created by God?
Answer me,am talking to you.
Where you not conceive from the womb?
Answer me,you so called evil demon.
Who is your God-Father?
What are your want,
Tell me and I give you.

You have destroyed the north;
Take life like that of fish and
Slain a lot of throat.
I was told you are killing
Because of religion.
Was that true?
Answer me, am talking to you
So called terrorist,please
Put an end to all your wickedness
And let us build a great nation.
Am not here to fight you
But just for amnesty.
Remember the market, we are into
One day surely we shall go home.
Reconcile with your destiny?
Think wisely

Identify

Oldage is a state of mind
Old as the civiliazation of humanity
Old as the first lies told by lucifer
Old as sarliver

That is how old Identity is

I have lost my sense of belong
The sense of believing in words
The sense of having faith in love
The sense of knowing what is wrong, what is good and what is acceptable
Untill i became senseless for not having a sense to my path in life

I am a victim
A victim who once never had a choice
A victim who was once brutally robbed
A victim of identity thief

This is not just how I feel but this is how victims of abuse feel
