Head Or the Heart

"For each of us there are different meanings, When I say the word, ”feeling” Is your first thought, From the head or heart About a pain or ache, Or emotions to separate Happiness, Or sadness From the thrill of an event, Or bubbled tears of lament To have lost or won, Something or someone Felt inside, Loss or pride How it emotes, Screams or chokes Our voice from the air, It’s sound dependent on how much we care For how we want things to be, Always hoping for victory That the head and the heart match up, So we can accept, what each teach us To provide what we are needing, A clearer understanding of our feelings"
