Premium MemberFrom The Beginning

Your arms make me feel safe from that first glance.
Your soul, my safe haven.
You had me at hello.
Those true colors peeking through your walls: strength, love, and devotion.
You are my yin to my yang.
You ground me.

We’ve pushed through, standing our ground through sickness and trial, yet we still hold the line for our family we’ve created.

As years pass and looks fade, I will still see the soul I fell in love with from day one.

Happy Anniversary, my love.

Premium MemberSummer Night Without Your Spouse

When the silver moon tangoes out, with a lyrical hum,
And my heart beats like the gentlest drum.

Then, does my warm breathing hearspeed,
Oh, it is then, you, just you, I so lovingly need!

Come here, oh so close, bright, sweetheart of mine,
Crystal Anniversary glasses of chilled, Chardonnay wine.

It is then..that with moonlit tears do I awaken,
The sad realization, by God, was ‘twas years ago you were taken!

Premium Member In The Mouth of Desire

The summer heat was turned up to blasting with a huge yellow sun looking down. Our sweat had sweat. If only there was a breeze to pass over us. In the mouth of desire sits July. A young couple is about to be wed. The groom all decked out in his black suit. The bride in her long wedding dress and veil. Family and friends gather to watch this union take place. They hang on every word as the vows are being said. Then the happy couple are pronounced husband and wife. In the mouth of desire a big kiss gets planted. Pictures are take, then off to the dinner.

Now we are married

Journey took sudden turns as I learnt to breathe by someone's terms
The driver a sharp one.. well.. a bit shaky with routes and that's not fun
Will I reach the destination and he says that it depends..
nail biting moments sure, time has its suspense -
Loose not the patience I said and finally became a patient
No ego, not rude - so kind and helpful
Thought of the future and money is sinful
A drive? a vacation? always fresh and hot in a flask
Seeing this pour to action is quite a task
Gosh! But am I thankful for this lemon tart..
hmm.. words could never frame the depth of this in my heart.

55th wedding Anniversary

I'll always remember the vows we made on that Special Day,
I promised that I would Love, Honour and Obey.
As I look back on these years just one thing comes to mind
If I had searched the whole wide world,a better Man I wouldn't find.
You were the starlight in my eyes, the reason for my life,
You gave me five beautiful children when I became your wife,
You made me laugh, you made me cry you gave me Comfort too,
I know I wasn't perfect but I tried very hard for you.
If I could have just one wish I know what it would be
That all the lovers in the world could be as happy as you and me.
I Miss you so much Darling, life will never be the same,
But the love and all the memories will forever remain.
So on this very special day my thoughts are all of you,
I know that you will give me the love and strength to carry through.
One day my Darling I will kiss ?? and hold you tight,
Until then My Darling Mike you'll be my guiding light ??.
       God bless you Darling

Premium MemberA Dare to Any Husband

This year for an anniversary gift
I gave my wife, with no little courage,
a check for a permanent facelift.
Exploding in rage and shouting,
she said a check was insulting,
her voice muffled in her cleavage.

Anniversary

The merry-go-round lights
illuminate your face,
and
the mess of plastic that
passes for a fountain here
washes the noise of the
overpass.

You smile at me
and
not for the first time I am reminded
that we are in love.
Violent,
stupid,
arrogant
love.

We press our bodies into one
another exchanging heat
and
you laugh, like music.

You are my burial at sea.

The horizon my heart sails toward,

a chase that never stops.

Premium MemberMy husband is son of a, Anthology poem

When I ask him, 'Do you really love me'?
He thinks and says, 'Sure I always say 40-love when I play tennis with
you'.

Whenever I come home happy after my shopping spree,
He reminds me, 'Honey, Money does not grow on tree'.

Whenever I need some help in household chores,
He reminds me that his work domain is outdoors.
Whenever he works outside the house,
He moans and groans that I forgot my wedding vows.

Whenever I complain of being TV. sports widow during leisure times,
He wants me to be creative and pick up some hobby sometimes.
When the hour of romance comes on the anniversaries,
I expect gifts, flowers, hugs and kisses,
Instead I get a flower from the garden reminding me of my marriage
anniversary.

Whenever I am dressed up to go the parties and want him to look sharp,
He comes up with his favorite old shirt and baggie pants.
When I am mad on him for not listening to anything I say,
I think he is a son of a gun, what else I can say

The Secret Side of You

Vs.1) One thing makes me so proud
To know that I know how
You si…ghh when you say My name.
A treasure I hold tight
To know when you sleep tonight
You'll la.. ugh, oh you'll never change.

Chorus*
To know…the one I love
Like no...body else does
You sho…w me the real you,
And I lo….o…ove,
The secret side of you…
All the sweet things only lovers get to do,
Yess, I lo…ove, the secret side of you.

Vs 2) That look comes to your eyes
As if you try to memorize
     Every li…ine, of my face.
That shock of lightning fire
That look of desire
I can almost feel your embrace.

Repeat Chorus*
Tag: yes, I lo…ove, the secret side of you.
All the sweet things only lovers get to do…
How I lo…ove, the secret side…of you.

I will always choose you

Marli and Juan,

I will always choose you
By Michelle Morris

Whether it be sixteen years
Whether it be one hundred
I will always choose you
My darling husband

No matter in this lifetime
Or in the next
You are the one I love
Always the very best

If I could go back
Way back in time
To our wedding day
To our vows and smiles

All those joys
And happiness
All those memories
Our wedding kiss

I would still choose you
I would still choose us
This wedded bliss extends
To our every loving touch

For we are connected
Our souls and hearts
Our love and light flows
Through our life and honour

So, whether it be sixteen years
Whether it be one hundred
I will always, always choose you
My darling, darling husband

     Wish we were just married.
My trusting head upon your shoulder.
When we had so terribly little,
     Yet.... so very much.
And we seemed to have beeen
     blessed with the magic touch,
That made us to the world far,
     far bolder!

     Watching the spiritual fog,lift the
     San Francisco sun each dawn.
Like a deer, wakes each morning,
to feed her dear, precious fawn.
Really, few precious vittles to eat.
     Nontheless,we walked to Nortn Beach,
To be with other poets for a Mocha treat.

The San Francisco streets welcomed us.
Those dewy, foggy nights, did embrace
      embrace us…thus!

Everyone tells us what to do when a cherished-Love-one dies.
So, I will just suggest that one should not allow themselves to grieve too long. Spend your waking hours reading and remembering The many years you were all together. When you return to your normal routine at work, school, playtime. get close to people and find new friends, Call a friend when you are in doubt of something.

Have a Prayer Circle in her name and visit with God often. He will direct your steps each day. We get so use to the Earthly body, and so when we don't see it around we get lonely. There are three of you to keep company. Cherish this time together. At Holidays which can be the worst, Light candles and sing songs.

Keep close to one another and always remember when a bird flys by, or a dog barks at you, it might be her saying Hello.

Wishing you all the best for a Happy, Healthy and Loving experience in the years to come.

Blessed

A blessed man,
is a man that knows God.
That is close to Him,
with every breath of his life.

A blessed man,
is one that puts the Lord first,
and goes to Him,
in time(s) of trouble,
and again still
in gathered moments
of joy!

A blessed man,
is given a wife... by the King.
She is unique, and a special gift,
a help mate,
that will support him,
and keep him,
in all ways...
as a wife should.

A blessed man,
is given children, by His Majesty.

It is his responsibility to raise them
in the faith,
in the belief...
in the very perfect
existence of...
the Prince of Peace.

A blessed man,
follows the path given to his life,
written in the bible.
He knows that without God,
there is only evil,
and the land all dies.

A blessed man,
falls to his knees
when he is called,
and does not fall down
when challenged.
No.
Instead,
he stands
he fights,
he is blessed.

A blessed man!
