She stands on the lamppost
as if the world below
were only a rumor,
her cabaret silks
fluttering like thoughts
she hasn’t confessed.
The moon leans down,
slow and luminous,
a face she’s loved
from too far away.
Tonight she kisses it~
not to claim it,
but to prove
that longing
can be brave.
Her umbrella hangs
like a question
she no longer needs.
Her top hat tilts
toward possibility.
And the lamppost,
that thin spine of earth,
holds her steady
as she chooses wonder
over gravity.
Some say she’s foolish.
Some say she’s dreaming.
But Pierrot knows
the hidden message:
the heart climbs
where logic won’t,
and sometimes
the impossible
is simply waiting
for someone
to touch it.
Ink Stone
Stone symbolizes.
With a feather pen.
Document literature.
Writer through calendar.
Amusing prevails.
Clouds to wanderer’s.
Pave the way.
Penmanship worthy.
Alludes to ink stone.
Sequence sincere.
A poet blossoms.
Narrative through the dark.
A lantern toward the ink.
Hidden message through poetry.
A tiny slip of paper, folded tight,
With words that whisper, soft and light.
A stolen moment, heart aflutter,
To tell a secret, just a little stutter.
'Your smile, a sunrise, chasing away the night,
Your laughter, music, pure and bright.
Each glance, a spark, igniting my desire,
To hold you close, and set my soul on fire.'
A hidden message, tucked in a book,
A secret code, a whispered look.
'The way you walk, a gentle grace,
Your touch, a feather, leaving no trace.'
A simple phrase, scribbled in haste,
'I love you,' written, a feeling embraced.
A tiny treasure, a love note's art,
A silent promise, close to the heart.
These little whispers, on paper thin,
Speak volumes, where words begin.
A love expressed, in ways so small,
A love remembered, standing tall.
Inconvenient adversaries
Found you like a hidden message in a video diary
Convoluted execution
You’re a relapse waiting to happen
Learning to be proud of my reflection
More smiles than a wedding reception
Tune in,
Fade out
Here I am, undecided
To me,
Every star is a mini revelation
This time,
I’m becoming one with the illusion
Instructions come unclear and heavy handed
I’m redefining your introduction
And now that I have your attention
Life threatening circumstances I forgot to mention
Could go unnoticed
We’re all just pawns in someone else’s game
If you really want to know, play it backwards
Put the record on, the Beatles or the Byrds
An act you may find seemingly absurd
A hidden message fail safe, I’m assured
Is Paul really here and on the level
Did a stairway to heaven lead you to the devil
Check each record groove and bevel
In redundant curiosities I revel
Did you find yourself in a sudden trance
In a prompt unusual circumstance
Perhaps then it’s more than chance
Of what began as music and a dance
A bit of messaging subliminal
Some entertaining and minimal
Others verging on being criminal
Few for the mind, almost medicinal
You won’t hear the message at their live show
Only between your own wall and window
For the secret put the record on and turn it slow
And play it backwards, if you really want to know
Some folks tend to awfulize
Others prefer to dramatize,
There are those who fantasize
Many people will improvise.
I know a few who tantalize
Even resort to marginalize
Those who are short in size,
Which will often destabilize
Because they may internalize,
Which is not always wise!
Three times a week, I advise,
It’s a good thing to exercise!

"Grey Lines"
between the
colour white
and the edge
of
unforgiving
light
what
was
loved once
lies all discarded
the hidden message
submerged
the secrets of love
days and nights
years lost
forever
walking
trapeze rope
in the waiting
waking
dead
a ghost
on grey lines
echoes mute notes
no man’s land
fingers pushing keys
pulling in unchartered maps
from piano,
Détente
territory
hidden
unheard
sentences
never end
nor white
nor black
grey lines

A Two Exposure Photo of Myself…
Ussen, you do work mysteriously.
I do see my older & younger self.
What an unexpected strange surprise.
I see an older, wiser, mature self
Preparing for the very long road to come.
Two Photographs, The Past & The Future.
Hidden Message for me to decipher.
My intrepid Older self to be found
A Secret Strength for me to tap into
Yes, I was vulnerable and frightened
But I had the tools in me to survive
I have become who I needed to be.
I have found peace and comfort in my skin.
A poet’s deliberation; to place the words between the lines
Something sacrilegious; in their attempt to blow our minds
Playing games with metaphors to test the educated rhyme
Then left accessible to others over the great length of time
Parable’s placed upon us with their morals to quell our sin
Picked upon and plundered; to the hidden message within
The litigation of alliteration; with each start letter the same
When repeated over and over in the end drives you insane
Anaphora’s are repeated; as to reinforce its message home
Anaphora’s are repeated because I suffer repeat syndrome
A poet’s deliberation; to place the words between the lines
Something sacrilegious; in their attempt to blow our minds
Today, he is sledding iced streets. A city's rain yet freezes on roads here; every lad's pastime
Depression is oppression.
It's a deadly hidden message
Defined by self-hate.
It seals its prisoner's fate.
It holds you captive and throws out the key.
It stabs and jabs just to see you bleed,
Inflicting wounds that scar for life.
Destruction is its mother and death its wife.
You can cry, but it will always ignore your screams.
It terrorizes your soul and haunts your dreams.
It sends you false hope through a bottle or pill.
It destroys your goals and inflicts its will.
You can't run, nor can you hide.
By its rules you will abide
Until it celebrates that you have died.
Open your eyes, or you will be its prey.
It will blur your vision in the most twisted way.
It will seek your destruction and call for your head.
You will lie and wait but never rest in your bed.
Peace will come to those who want peace,
But as long as you feed him, you will see the beast.
You can't run, nor can you hide,
But if you conquer the beast, you will survive.
Prayer and hope can lead the way.
Cling on to every word you pray.
Hope is in truth.
Hate is in lies.
Pray for your soul and open your eyes.
There up in the galaxy
are symbols wrought.
Symbols are the secrets
of life encoded in nature
which man inhabits
and must decode to survive.
In deciphering symbols of life,
man needs wisdom.
Hidden within the
framework of our universe
are sacred symbols telling us
about the infinite powers of creation.
Deep beneath the ocean,
even down the darkest
depths of the earth,
symbols speak.
Within the forest,
Signature symbols of
the plants are made manifest.
Every single thing about
our lives are coded symbols
with profound hidden message.
Below the earth are hidden symbols
of the precious gem stones subtlely emanating their secrets to help mankind.
Within the tumultuous ebbs of the tides the surf searches the sand for symbols.
Our lives are symbols of the almighty scattered all over the cosmos.
Symbols are everywhere if we can but only look for it.

I can stare at you
like an artist to his masterpiece.
A hidden message in an abstract.
I'm attracted to you
like waves kissing the shore.
A butterfly's lust for flowers.
I am in love with you
like how the light creeps through the dark.
A devoted joker to his audience.
Acceptance
For those considered not normal,
There is only one thing
That is desired of others.
And that is acceptance
Yet the opposite is mostly given
Shunned, excluded and bullied
We despair late at night
And wonder, "what is wrong with me?"
As we lie there in the dark
Our tears spill upon our pillows.
We learn to stay safe,
To fade into the background
You might see us you know,
Standing on the sidelines
Watching with envy
The groups of friends
Spread throughout
We try to do our best
To fit in, to blend
Yet our uniqueness
Our differences
Make that impossible
We try to make conversation
With those considered normal
And what we get from them
Is a gaze that has a hidden message
"Why are you talking to me?"
"I don't accept you."
Saddened by them
We crawl back there
To the background
Where we feel safe
I write my hidden message
And hope they see in time
My taughts have finally beat me
I'm tired of saying I'm fine
I know they'll say it's a cowards way
But they couldn't be more wrong
It's every taught i think of
Its the words of every song
You never see it coming
Before you know it it's all you see
The place would be much better
So much better without me
I wish I done things different
And Been a better man
Forever just a let down
Of that I'm sure I am
To see it through once and for all
For once I will commit
They'll be better off without me
Although they won't admit
I love my family dearly
There are no words to say how much
I hope they'll miss something about me
My voice my smile my touch
I tryd so much to reach out
They didn't understand that's clear
I was left alone with all my demons
And consumed with all this fear
The way out for me is clear now
As hard as it may be
I'll finally be without my taughts
And i pray that I'll be free .
