Grey Lines
"Grey Lines"
between the
colour white
and the edge
of
unforgiving
light
what
was
loved once
lies all discarded
the hidden message
submerged
the secrets of love
days and nights
years lost
forever
walking
trapeze rope
in the waiting
waking
dead
a ghost
on grey lines
echoes mute notes
no man’s land
fingers pushing keys
pulling in unchartered maps
from piano,
Détente
territory
hidden
unheard
sentences
never end
nor white
nor black
grey lines
