Here and Now

The woods the sun
                                       The crisp air
                                    You, me, the space
                                         we share
                                A feeling of freedom and
                                          belonging
                                            Nature
                                         Everlasting
                                            Beauty

There ain’t no heaven.
There ain’t no hell.
Nothing to come, nothing to become thereafter or still yet to be.
Nothing to live or die for, as a reward.
Nothing to pay for after you die.
All retributions, recompenses and rewards are mortal just like your life after inception is mortal, and you are doomed to die.
So live your life as if there is no tomorrow, with nothing carried over at day's end,
beyond hope to be better at what you do, and what you are and can be, to loved ones and others.

there ain't no heaven
nor no hell down there below
live life here and now

Beyond the here and now, I flew
Into a sky, cornflower blue
No drifting clouds to block my view
I lose myself, in search of you

In respite from the noonday sun
Beneath an oak, thoughts on the run
No sooner than I had begun
You're in the frame and we are one.

I felt your presence growing near
As though you whispered in my ear.
No longer will I be in fear
That you were lost forever, dear.

I grieved for you through time apart
Wounded as if by poisoned dart.
Beneath this oak, I now impart
Vows of devotion from my heart.

*Thank you, Danny Turner,
for offering me your lines.
I hope I've done justice to your verses.

Here and Now

We can't visit the future
We cannot revisit our past.
Life is this present moment.
Which vanishes
Within the blink of an eye.

HERE AND NOW

HERE AND NOW

They say the way is forward, never back
And never deviate, just keep on track
To search for all those things that one might lack
That never were in your history to find
Although you’ll proceed with an open mind
It is here, right now, you will realise

The past may have seemed like a shade of black
The future just visible through a crack
But the present’s not on a different tack
As fact and fantasy become aligned
It’s right here, with treasures of every kind
A chance for choosing truths, and no more lies

So stop now, and carefully look around
There’s value in new insights that you’ve found

Head Would Bow Here and Now

when my head would bow
prayed for pastries here and now
God had told me how

had been suspicious
pastries were delicious
close and contiguous

they were close to touch
pastries with hand will clutch
love them very much

The Garden of Glory, here and now

You will see heaven and earth roll up as a scroll
You will read the Word, written in twigs and rocks
You will hear the scroll of the Word quake as light sets

You will feel starlight pearl bracelets, engraved in gold
You will wear white garments made of moonlight silk
You will taste gnosis fruit before you taste night’s death

You will breathe the Garden of Glory, here and now
You will smell its grapevines in and out of you
You will live in Heaven’s Green Garden, the New Earth

Awakening from Stupor

In a parking lot
I open my eyes

but the moment after my nap
forget where I am

as my restless mind lingers
in a litany of desires and dreams

then a realization of time and place
as a new world opens its arms for me

I step out from my shadows
into light of the loving sun

Here and Now

Every

Now and then

Again and again

In and after a wee while

Where once something

Made us feel

A terrible sense of inner pain

Eventually turns into a smile

When enough time has been taken to heal

Old wounds of an innocent young fool

Not every time granted

Over and over again

Just in and after a wee while

Old wounds have taken enough time

To let one be enabled to remember

That life must and does carry on regardless

And doing so devoid of any possibility

Of joy , happiness , laughing raising a smile

Is neither in reality living in the

Here or Now

As technically you already

Living and walking amongst the Dead

The stuff of songs , painting and poems

The Here and Now

THE HERE AND NOW

Just go find the key to the present
And the future becomes unlocked
For some, it is just the distant past
As if who they were then, will last
Seen all doors and never knocked
Nostalgia makes it all so pleasant

Dwelling back there in one’s youth
Better days, at least as one recalls
Stay back there in your memories
Ignore those who now are enemies
But the prospect of the future palls
As now one is so long in the tooth

Who said, Age shall not weary them
I hear that intoned more and more
Funerals don’t really say goodbye
I’ll be looking down from the sky
Seeing confusion always as before
None there to ever wear a diadem

We all have a set number of sunrises
Maybe I’m about halfway through mine
Up to now I can confidently surmise
That our most valuable resource is time

Easy to get sucked up in the scurry
Attention focused on the wrong things
Better to wash away the wave of worry
Instead cherish the moments life brings

Premium Member The Here and Now Principle

Born we are flesh, a self being with ego
On a place where what was done once ago
Shall reap its effect always and forever more
The way of investigation, wisdom will implore

Born on an earthly platform, gravity is what we’re held by
Everything changes, even God can’t stop the wheel in the sky
We can’t cling on, not even to a husband or wife
A principle in how one can live his or her life

Let us not sit by the riverbank, on an even flow let's be
Inexpressible, no self but every being is a philosophy
The middle way we must follow—nothing more nothing less
Continue or stay on a course of impermanent happiness

Here, now, enlightened with values, morals, reborn
With a principle of letting go—ego shorn

Here and Now

Here and now
Not this second
Maybe in another minute
Could be three more
Maybe four more

My mind will ease up
My day will be fantastic
My wonders may fade
My worries gone

Cross path's we may,
on another sunny chilly day
We're all tryna live another day
At the moment be calm

Reborn here now without baggage,
dawn a view of serenity;
and I let go of life's luggage,
no longer to haunt endlessly !

A clear new day sparkling like wine,
reborn here now without baggage;
and reawakening is mine,
will repair my parts with damage !

Will strive for a nicer package,
where delights are rediscovered;
reborn here now without baggage,
with my best qualities retrieved !

Each dawn I will be a new me,
as I journey this life's passage;
with the key to my destiny,
reborn here now without baggage !
