Best Here And Now Poems
I have lost the words
I have lost the heart to dream
Every word that comes to mind
Brings me back to times
When You kissed me that very first time
yesterday is my fantasy
You kissed me then so long ago
Now I need you here, wishing so
That you were beside me now
I need you here
I need you now
Here and now the kisses glow
You gave me smiles
You gave me hope
That love could be a dream come true
You took nothing, only gave
Yet you stole my heart, and walked away
I can’t live any more, not without you
Your smiles made me dance and sing
And now I cant seem to do a thing
If I confesses the tears that flow
In the middle of these lonely nights
I wonder why
As so much time as passed
I still think of you
I need you here
I need you now
Here and now the kisses glow
Even now
Laying down upon my pillow
The world is all so different
My longing won’t go away
Even now
I wonder where you are
I wish
I wish for second chances
I wonder if you ever think
Of that kiss I once planted on your lips
I need you here
I need you now
Here and now the kisses glow
Now is never and long ago
Now has past and lost its glow
If only time could be held so still
Then here and now the kisses would glow

While transient clouds ripple in streaks
Below a heap of perfumed blooms prances ,
While fireflies wheel through evening, mellow…
Just then, rainfall blows
Like a funerary gush of tears
Damping my cheeks, blotting night’s glint,
As I ,in a long sojourn of ambivalence
Writhe again inside--- heart rousing a storm.
~
How in low flicker, time wobbles on…
The jasmines gone before I could hold them-
Ignoring such charm as they brush my skin.
~
Maybe this fault of gloom overcomes me..
I fail to see this life, this timely presence .
I don't know why …
My breath feels the dying and the low:
Till fireflies circle my body with radiance
Awakening a flame to grasp this moment,
To open these eyes and relish
A pure delight of what is unfurling NOW.

Just a few words
To express how I feel
Just a couple rhythms
To make my pain feel real
I write, I draw, I paint
Just to help me not to cry
I beg, I plead, I whine
I laugh, tell me why
I'm lost in this world
Trying to find my place
I long for the moment
To feel a smile on my face

From the glaze of winter's mantle
Springtime hues seem longer than time's wait,
As the nip of icy breezes
Faintly frosts each slant of grass.
Yet for all I crave the fresh rustle
Of sweet April's lustrous days,
Who could not rejoice in watching
December's view starting to gleam?
That in this very clear moment
I embrace the merry flakes on my skin,
Relishing a season's hum of contentment
Imbued with lyre of a choir's prayer;
As every glassed petal enthralls my eyes
Bearing soil and tinting my garden
Gold, red as flamed poinsettias
While I hold this place of here and now,
If only to cherish this fleeting wonder.

Orwell and Alinski both saw the
here and now.
Sal, he wrote a manual,
George wrote a story bout a
farmer and some pigs,
That both forgot to milk the
cow
One went door to door
The other went high brow
Both told us what would
happen
Both also told us how
It was "radical" in "1984"
It's factual right now
Equality..Here and Now
The word
implies that there are two
and these two are equal..
Such an assertion
results in a counter
that seems obvious:
two are never equal..
From this common
experience
we learn to question:
Is this simply perception..?
Experience of
Here..Now
alters perception
with joy we find:
Real Equality is
never not One...!
(Our Declaration of Independence
includes the word: Equality
which Lincoln restated at
Gettysburg..
The Civil War was fought
over the notion
that the first perception
was the only one..
The Declaration was
written assuming
the second perseption...!)
In a drop of water
a universe.
In a peony
poetic verse.
In a child’s face
sweet purity.
In just one moment
eternity…
And when the line is drawn
We will overcome
And when we understand that
Real love never, ever stalks
Real love never, ever inflicts harm
We will overcome
And when we remember
That we are only human
That we are finite
We will overcome
And when we accept that we are more
Than our failures
We will overcome
And when we sing louder
Louder than the setbacks
Because WE are PRECIOUS AND FEW
We will overcome
And when we can be the permanent tissue
For those that cry
We will overcome
And when we do unto others
We will overcome
And when we dedicate this to those
Who value our beautiful errors
Our flawed, potent smiles
And they return the favor
We will overcome.

Born we are flesh, a self being with ego
On a place where what was done once ago
Shall reap its effect always and forever more
The way of investigation, wisdom will implore
Born on an earthly platform, gravity is what we’re held by
Everything changes, even God can’t stop the wheel in the sky
We can’t cling on, not even to a husband or wife
A principle in how one can live his or her life
Let us not sit by the riverbank, on an even flow let's be
Inexpressible, no self but every being is a philosophy
The middle way we must follow—nothing more nothing less
Continue or stay on a course of impermanent happiness
Here, now, enlightened with values, morals, reborn
With a principle of letting go—ego shorn
Life is a choice
For us to choose
On which way to go
To be set free
Or live in sorrow
We all are given a choice
to decide here and now
during our earthly life
For this.. should know
Choice is ours
By what we sow…
We can Win or lose
Through this Journey of life
By the choices we choose
Shows which way we go…
If you follow satan….
You sadly mistaken
For then your path
Entry-way is God’s wrath
If You follow Our Savior Jesus Christ
You will surly win..
Moment you become born-again
Christ is the giver of all eternal life
Choice we choose
Onward to eternity
Steps we take
Are Entry-ways
to Heaven or hell gates..
I pray you come to know
Our Savior.. Jesus Christ
Come with Sincere Love
and Humbled heart
For Time is Now..
Earthly Days.. soon at end…
Paradise is New beginning
Eternity without End
Choice is ours..
Which way do you choose to live?
Which Path-way our you on?
True// for today we are here...
But tomorrow?
Then where???................
'You' have the 'Gift',
Needing nothing more than the 'Present',
Which solves the "Who", "What", "When" !
So snatch the 'W' from "Where",
For we're not omnipresent...
Then switch How's 'H' for an 'N'.
Beyond the here and now, I flew
Into a sky, cornflower blue
No drifting clouds to block my view
I lose myself, in search of you
In respite from the noonday sun
Beneath an oak, thoughts on the run
No sooner than I had begun
You're in the frame and we are one.
I felt your presence growing near
As though you whispered in my ear.
No longer will I be in fear
That you were lost forever, dear.
I grieved for you through time apart
Wounded as if by poisoned dart.
Beneath this oak, I now impart
Vows of devotion from my heart.
*Thank you, Danny Turner,
for offering me your lines.
I hope I've done justice to your verses.
The time is here and now
To right the wrongs
Show them how
They are here to stay
Embrace your life
Make decisions today
Tomorrow comes fast
Regret is an ugly thing
You had control of past
The time is here and now
With your inconsistencies
Family life takes the bow
The Here and Now
I sit here alone, once again.
The cold winds of this valley howl at me,
Making fun of me, mocking all I live for.
“There you sit, you stupid girl!
Waiting once more.”
Waiting.
For the man who said he loved me.
Waiting.
For the one I trusted above all others.
Waiting.?For the pain to subside.
Because he’s not coming home, he lied.
Was it really that hard to see?
If he wasn’t there with you,
Where was he?
With whom?
Just not seeing the elephant in the room.
I wish I had never known him,
Never felt his touch,
Never smelled his scent,
Because this, this has ruined me.
I’ll never love again. Not ever.
