Now, I will make no claim of ever being a saint,
but I’ve always felt at peace after giving my best.
Often in life, thoughts have whispered “I can’t”,
But I’ve viewed those times as another faith test.
“Whether you believe you can do a thing, or not,
you are probably right.”

Sometimes, matters pry from us a rant,
and our first response becomes, “I can’t.”
Things God places before us don’t get done,
because we tell God that we aren’t the one.
Into our thoughts seeds of doubt had crept,
and we diligently searched for one more adept.
We thought, to certain things we didn’t aspire,
we gave up, lacking faith, and absence of desire.
Philippians 4:13
“whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.”
Henry Ford
Henry Ford mass-produced the Model 'T' Ford,
A contraption the unwashed masses could afford!
'Twas the latest and greatest to include a crank and jack,
And he offered a choice of colors as long as it was black!
It is well enough that people of the nation,
do not understand our banking,
and monetary system,
for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution,
before tomorrow morning.
- Henry Ford, a corporate poet,
who didn't even know it.

Soaking up the tropical climate
Soaking up some Ft Myers memories
Memories that last a lifetime
The mind is an awesome thing
so much of it left unused
lying dormant in it’s laziness
fearing maybe of being bruised
Thankfully they are those that are not
minds left unused but think truly straight
working out all the many issues of life
questioning and debating whatever the bait
But these thinkers are the very few
for thinking deep is indeed hard work
the mind has such a delicate balance
proper tuning needed never to shirk
So remember your gift of a brain
use it don’t abuse it for a moment
it could be your work to this world
for your life to be truly meant
(‘Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it’.) - Henry Ford (1863-1947)
This world is a fine creation,
Every where innovations,
Day by day the creations in renovation,
Africa was in dark before Edison,
Donkeys carried people until Ford,
Edison and Henry Ford this world know as inventors,
They were poets and writers,
Maths a king of subject opening the minds wide,
Poetry also a mind booster,
Edison a poet,
Light his known poem,
Ford wrote,
Automobiles his known writing,
All creating minds brought innovations,
For this world to walk in comfort,
Poets we are,in thousands,
From the West,East,North and South,
Come to put all our minds into a pool,
To drive into light from where it's broken down!
,
I thought of a day sans the Sun
I thought of a night sans the light
All the times that I thought of the light
I thought of Edison!
Thomas Alva Edison-
The power house shed light in the direction of right
A total solution found dark to fight
Light, an innovation from the mind of a bright
A revolution only second to the Moon walk strait
All the times that,I look at the light
I see the tired face of the might
Edison bought time and time to come out of his plight
Light in the night-
In the way of Owl's and Bat's sight
Edison, a pupil the school refused to teach
Edison, a lessen the schools undertook to teach
Edison bore torch light to his mate,Henry Ford
To put his wheels of four on the road
On the day of TWO ELEVEN of his birth-
Don't switch off lights to bring dark
But switch on saying "EDISON" in honor to mark!
EDISON LIVES!
-Dharga Nagar Safa
The last breath of Edison,
Refused to go to the grave in dark,
But in the vial of Henry Ford,
Under it's master's light!
What unforeseen force determines our course
On journeys throughout our days?
What drives the notions to cross deep oceans
That for some, become early graves?
What causes our dreams that move us it seems
To continually seek higher ground?
To discover new worlds in deep space that swirls
Like windmills ‘round and ‘round?
What made DaVinci a Renaissance Man
And Shakespeare a writer extolled?
How did Einstein think out there on the brink
Relative to light, young or old?
What ran through the veins of Mahatma Gandhi
Or Martin Luther King?
And what magic arose when Beethoven composed
Or Sinatra learned how to sing?
I duly confess, I’ve detoured no less
Than countless times through the years;
But like an arrow flying I keep on trying
To hit bulls eye, nice and clear.
Though Robert Frost I’ll never be
Ansel Adams or Henry Ford;
Still I keep striving like each of them
For something deeper inside to explore.
You gotta give credit to old Henry Ford!
He made the Model "T", a car folks could afford.
But along came Edsel who created a well-known heap!
His infamous Edsel would've made the Old Man weep!

Henry Ford satisfied the masses, we may all agree,
By concocting the venerable Ford Model "T".
He said, "You can choose any color as long as it's black!"
And he even tossed in a spare tire, crank and sturdy jack!
