The Working of the Mind
The mind is an awesome thing
so much of it left unused
lying dormant in it’s laziness
fearing maybe of being bruised
Thankfully they are those that are not
minds left unused but think truly straight
working out all the many issues of life
questioning and debating whatever the bait
But these thinkers are the very few
for thinking deep is indeed hard work
the mind has such a delicate balance
proper tuning needed never to shirk
So remember your gift of a brain
use it don’t abuse it for a moment
it could be your work to this world
for your life to be truly meant
