Sometimes, matters pry from us a rant,
and our first response becomes, “I can’t.”
Things God places before us don’t get done,
because we tell God that we aren’t the one.
Into our thoughts seeds of doubt had crept,
and we diligently searched for one more adept.
We thought, to certain things we didn’t aspire,
we gave up, lacking faith, and absence of desire.
