Oh, trouble...trouble, trouble, trouble...
I refuse to let you ruffle feathers of mine.
High mountain, don't dare stand in my way;
I'll push and claw my way to your summit!
Dear obstacle, I defy you! Put me through
Any test, and I shall pass it; God willing.
Echo of distant cries,
quadruped steps deepening into dusk—
wind folding the earth’s breath.
Craftsman of the spider web,
seas of lightning possessing the sky.
Guardian of the other side,
conceiver of comings and goings,
I will meet you soon—
after the waning of many moons,
God-willing—I will meet you soon!
Til then
you will wait—
til the fateful rain washes the earth,
til the sky weeps every secret.
You will wait
as the mountain lion sleeplessly
soaks up the storms to
keep her last babe dry.

"Chickens will do." And a pause
"For another yard of georgette linens too."
And every capped reasons opened at last,
as a stair, for a stare, to ask about the rear,
"What about the full cotton fabrics or Chinese poplin?"
And impeccable time smiled on me, " Rather, this should be bobbling, that is inevitable."
"Ed good, this is still an issue room for mending.
Are you in?"
"Precisely! Exactly for what?" I heard.
"Is it the hall room? Or the ballroom?" I asked.
"It seemed a courtroom though." I heard my question answered, seemingly, in a bit startled voice.
"Nope. It is not a room, It is a table salt, tied to a prayer, that gifts the container, the neon, and the utility, and God willing, the next day we are expected to find the room." After a while, the assurance delivered.
"Though shawl thee!" I intervened.
"let's go home! Shall we?"
Sailboat helm at the quay
Serene feeling makes me cry
Sea breeze wafting in the air
Summer season sun is here.
Solitude morning feeling calm
Sense of freedom here I am
Soulful music exuding the place
Sending my soul purely bless.
Simple shanty shade held abound
Service crew serve service warmly
Shining smiles you see around
Shadow of love you feel dearly.
Short of adjectives the resort view
Seen the beauty of nature show
Silently taking pictures on my phone
Shower showing raindrop God has shown.
Shy out of sight is not known here
Scene food galore, beach sight everywhere
Sign of enjoyment of faces not a bargain
Surely next year God willing I'll be back again.

—Inferno or supernal?
Tons and tons of perilous water roaring to the ocean
Thanks to fission without vision—
Is it time to reverse the chain reaction?
Utopianism
Skepticism
Consumerism
All kinds of -ism
But where is
Optimism?
Neon god
Chat god
We are God
Who else to tell us
We are flawed?
God willing, not until

Yes, Birthdays are such fun, for you get something good and something not so good. Let's just say the something not so good is a health issue. My is Sciatica. Ouch. I made 79. The something good is I won a scratchoff prize of thirty dollars and the money has rolled in from there. Smile.
If you have family, they can take you to dinner or throw you a party. If you don't like me, you can throw yourself a party or just celebrate quietly. So far, this year I am havng two knee replacements and teeth implants. But no worries. I expect to take a trip to PR and enjoy myself for Thanksgiving. God willing.
So, if you're getting younger like me or just havig a birthday to celebrate. Enjoy with all the Pomp and Circumstance. Once is all you get, Enjoy It. Can't wait till
my 80th.
I knew when I was pulling on my turquoise boots that Skunk would appear.
she is my semi-pet bunny; thinking herself feral, but I feed her kibble.
perfect gardening weather today; I till rows, mark them with seed packets.
peas, beans, carrots, radishes, lettuce, and one row of zinnias and sunflowers.
Mom always planted at least two rows of flowers in her garden.
fuchsia cone flowers, hollyhocks, bluebells, which came up “renegade.” Laugh.
by the time I returned to the potting shed, my autumn scarecrow was waving.
he does that on a breezy day. Tomorrow I told Skunk, seeing a fox yonder.
No hard feeling's
No real lasting damage done
No one left bleeding after all
Is there
Maybe on the inside
But that is easy to disguise
And keep well hidden from prying eye's
Trying to catch a glimpse of what
truly lie's beneath
That cold hard exterior and mask behind
which you choose to hide
The seldom last since seen in person
actual real you
The one you where beforehand you threw yourself all in god willing for reasons only
you alone will know and be enabled to
answer
So like you said no hard feeling's
No real lasting damage done
Apart from a bleeding heart
Diabetes is rampant here & there.
No organ in the body, does it spare.
All people with diabetes, we should scare,
About diabetes sequelae, without diabetes care.
And give glad tidings of normal life, with diabetes care.
With repeated lessons on diet, exercise & medication, prepare,
The patients’ minds & behaviour, for optimum diabetes care.
All nurses, educators and doctors in unison out there,
Should wage the war on diabetes, with no efforts to spare.
Even though with many faces,
Diabetes can stare,
With mustered spirits, technology & medications, it cannot dare.
Prevention, Remission & new Treatments, are there.
God-Willing, one day Diabetes shall be rare !
At the ascension of the crystal
Stair of humanity, I embrace the totality of each step, each more carefully navigated. The creaking of uncertainty and discord from previous steps flashes before my thoughts, as each leg is lifted only to be forgotten amongst the dynamic placement of each foothold, with any of aforementioned merely a faded picture within loquacious movement, but a mirror with no reflection, for there is no looking back into conquered darkness only a transition up the staircase to a familiar void, desolate yet forthcoming At the same time. Levels become legality of stride each one freeing up, making up, reinvigorated me,keeping my mind on constant guard of the attack , for the mountain top, has a valley in which this ascension can't and won't be, nor will it incapacitate, for I will never be God willing a reprobate mind or soul, elevation has its whole. And may this staircase take me to every blessing and aspect earned and deserved, allowing personification in every word.
Lamar a. Williams Sr.
Before the sun goes down
Behind the mountains of the temporal,
And onto the valley of the eternal,
My soul feels like singing
The sorrows and joys of life,
From the dawn of my birth
Till the upcoming sunset of my
Existence!*

**My intention is to dedicate my new book, to all my friends at PoetrySoup
who have honored me with their visits and comments!
Child, be still, and sleep,
pray that war may cease.
May arms be laid to rest,
lay your weary head.
Child, know you, are loved,
on earth, and heaven above.
May mercy offer you protection,
may grace grant us an intercession.
Child, you are not alone,
out there's a big, magnificent world.
One day, God willing, you shall see,
a peaceful world, unchained and free.
Child, as you now do sleep,
I'll pray and tenderly weep.
Not knowing what the future will hold,
but asking God for strength to be bold.

Mothers and daughters
Show me your calling
You who will birth and one day bore the world
Replenish children God willing with human man
You and him shall an adult stage procreate
Pollinate human skate
Fathers and sons
Lead me now and after
You who are strong with big chiseled arms
Come forth young man with provision provide directions
With the help mate by your side
You and her child in adult stage procreate
Pollinate human faith

Well one always wishes for that wich,
Isnt entirely possible,
Bits n bytes,
But not full mights,
Anyway it wud be better to hav som,
Yet then wat wud b the difference,
Of the biggest reward,
If u aready take ur pleasure now,
So to speak,
Patience has been a key,
Of all times success,
So God Willing,
Let’s dive in!
Be mine, dearest beloved; mine...
Eternally, God willing, not just...
My Valentine for today.
You're a precious treasure more...
Valued to me than...
All the things that glitter and shine!
Let love be the enduring...
Everlasting light that guides us through
Nights sucked deep into a black hole.
Take my hand in yours...
Into the glorious sunset of our days
Not a soul ignites the glowing...
Embers of my heart brighter than you do!

Note: "Huh?" is right, lol. IDK how in the world I lost this poem I wrote on Valentine's Day this year. I wanted to frame it for my wife only to find it missing! Go figure. Makes me wonder if I lost another poem I don't know about? Hmm....
