Notes About The Poem

For Margarita Lillico's "Who's My Worst Enemy. . . Poetry Contest

My Worst Enemy

Who’s my greatest enemy? I ask myself.
I ponder and I ponder it; Have I a foe -
simply for the fact that someone’s not my friend?
I hope that not knowing me wouldn’t make that so.

Some people say they sin because of Satan.
Demons are the enemies of us all.
But it’s too easy to blame the devil
even though that serpent began man's fall.

I have the choice to think, do and say
what I want. I’m thankful to be free.
God willing, I’ll make it to heaven.
If not, my worst enemy would then be me.

Keep open to (The Holy Spirit) Andrea.. Remember also God is a God of order.' In the sense that there is a target to get Too..I have in the past dealt with the groups who said they were moving in the Pensacola or Toronto spirit..To them i posed ( not the Holy Spirit then.) At this Time even reverend RT Kendal was going on with it.' Its where people claim That they are so overcome with whatever.? They roll around on the floor Barking like dogs or other animal noises Is this equivelent to seeing the lame walk the blind see.?

I agree with you. Theatrical churches. So lame. I enjoy reading scriptures and watching nice videos about them on YouTube. I go now sometimes to s Bible church. The music is so inspirational and the pastor goes step by step through the scriptures. It's a joy compared to the church I was raised in

In my estimation its hype.' And leaves room for scoffers of God To say just as i have.' I do beleive in talking in tounges and if its genuine an interpretation will follow, or it will be in a genuine forigen tongue.' If there is a native of that tongue there.? I managed to halt several churches inviting the strange spirit in..And they flourished afterwards.' Some even thanking me.)

I've been reading your poems, Andrea, it's hard to imagine you'd have even a single enemy.

I feel lucky in that aspect. I try hard not to offend people and I don't hold grudges. Hopefully I have not hurt anyone unintentionally

Goshhhh, sweet Andrea, I was just wondering to write on this theme too, and was going along the same direction as you've said, "my worst enemy would then be me" i couldn't agree more.. we are indeed our worst enemies.. cuz what our foes do is their action, but how we perceive it, let it consume our energy and all the negativity that we absorb, ending in the self-sabotage.. sigh.. and also I love how you've written "Demons are the enemies of us all. But it’s too easy to blame the devil" How deep yes, it's the duality within us! But many chose to be on the wrong side.. just loved reading this! And your rhymes are creative too! Keep shining 🌟 and inspiring 💖 beautiful soul 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️💜💜💫💫

Thanks, Alison. Jesus is everything. In my youth I wasn't taught about salvation the right way. It's exciting the things I am learning today

I was just thinking of writing on this too! Hmm your rhymes flow so well! And there is heaven and hell. But i think I will feel at home inbetween 😆 gosh! How deep is this "Demons are the enemies of us all. But it’s too easy to blame the devil" so true! And sometimes some just cant fight the demons. Pleasure reading you today Best wishes Sending you light always 💋
