Neo Noir Cat and Mouse
Yesterday, it was the tortoise and the hare.
Today, another unlikely pair -
an alley cat, a stolen car,
and a mouse on the lam who wouldn't get far -
two double crossers, one prayer, "God willing,
all I ask, 'a drive-by killing'".
