How quickly I became intoxicated,
inebriated on this bewitching night
while watching the luminance of starlight.
I drank deeply of the view with heart and soul
beyond my limit... beyond control,
so mesmerized was I by the radiant gleaming.
Stars seemed to sway and sparkle
as if they were dancing in the velvet night,
shimmering in the patterned steps of a waltz.
Through a blackened hole of stellar mass
I continued to tumble among mordant shadows.
Sober enough to admit that I was traveling
in space while hearing a celestial melody.
A hymnal song written by the Master Virtuoso,
played throughout the hallowed heavens.
Lyrics that only angel's voices are allowed to sing.
The grandeur of starlight washed over me
and inveigled a symphony of senses in my mind
until at last, I was able to fully comprehend
the pellucid meaning of their inscriptions.
I'd been granted a mere glimpse of their secrets
in the realm where fulgent stardust whispers
of what was, what is, and of what will be
long after the light within me has dimmed.

The light show erupts with a fulgent blast.
Fractals zooming out clash fast, aghast!
Ears pulsating frog-marching to be in tune,
with lights blinding, flashing a sonic boom.
It's a psychedelic reverie, a kaleidoscope of screams!
My head hurts, my brain implodes with dreams
spued up from explosions in surround-sound streams.
I want it to stop, but I love the extraordinary
Way I'm stretched, spaced-out, ablaze and glary.
Reflecting the chaos on my face and body
that's contorted to a gaudy, bawdy, disemboweled anti-body.

Life is strong and fragile. It’s a paradox… it’s both things, like quantum physics: It’s a particle and a wave at the same time. It all exists all together. —Joan Jett
Connotations of Life
Night birds and daydreams in Edenic oak tree.
The salty tongue and lullabye of beachy blue sea.
Rumination of childhood ‘neath honeysuckle sun.
Red, raw, fulgent, overcome by the heft of the sun.
The fruitless and barren virtuosity of Adam’s tree.
Catacombs and sawlike teeth squatting in the sea.
The thrill of tides, embraced by the bosom of the sea.
Flickering flame or blinding heat tempered by the sun.
Sanity climbing the boughs or crepitant branches of tree.
O tree keep me above uncanny sea; soothe me with the sun.

Rooted on a moss-banked hill,
its branches spread far and wide.
By Summer's end, leaves veined gold and crimson.
Then, Autumn’s hand brushed them with russet paint.
Twas the time of year the elm tree despised.
Wind ruffled in their last days,
leaves danced as if burning flames,
until gales sent them tumbling to the ground.
Barren, as though in malaise, the elm stood.
Blame was cast upon harsh Winter weather.
Weeping for its naked limbs,
on a moss-banked hill it grieved.
For the change of season, it held loathing
and contempt for Nature's wrongful doing.
For surrounding its roots with drifts of snow
But on cusp of Spring's advent
tiny buddings will appear.
Branches will be clothed in fulgent raiment,
an umbrella agape, providing shade
for trilling songbirds in need of perching.
Reigning from atop the hill,
Ancient elm, regally frocked.

The fulgent grace of your soul dazzles.
A tenuous foothold of a fragile love.
How could you love me so ardently?
Consider me treacherous and dreary.
A fierce fire burns my soul.
A life unquiet, never submissive.
Your gentle placid nature shines.
Quietly you ask: "Why do you love me?"
I hedge, cough, lower my head,
And retort: "How do you love me?"
She is sage, subtle and shrewd.
"As much as you allow me to."
My heart will wear the heaviness for years.
In lady like manner, she leaves,
never looks back, tall and graceful,
she walks down the main street
like a grand dame, much to my regret.
I deserve no better until I learn
the meaning of true love.

In pale dawn light, when dew drops glisten,
I listen to a chorus of larks as they chatter.
Scattered about my garden, lilies are in bloom.
Perfumed petals varnished by the fulgent sun.
Spun, is a tangled web between the leaves,
as a busy spider weaves a gossamer snare.

I dreamt a dream that renewed kindred memories
Rekindling past passions of moonlit love-themes,
Enamoring love-embers blooming heartfelt longings,
Crooning hints-romantic~ life’s a beauteous dream;
When merrily you enthralled me in springs of yore
Fetching yesteryears’ treasured keepsakes to fore
Lauding pages of albums seasons bygone adored
Reviving ardent allure, questing for love evermore.
I recognized fervid smiles of twinkles in your eyes
Tethered bashfully to arc of love on fulgent skies,
As together we watched winsome emotions climb
Inscribing on celestial canvas, halo of love sublime;
Just as Venus smiled and Moon winked impishly
When brilliant stars avowed~ forever we shall be,
And song of lark strummed of a mirthful morning,
Rising in paradise you envisioned for you and me.
Embraced in delight through night’s blissful fantasy
Inflaming love’s yearnings stoking endearing instincts,
Ascribing form and meaning to abandoned reveries,
Greeting me, you agreed~ life’s a beauteous dream.

I want to write about skies so blue that every square of heaven sighs
I want to pen about flowers and trees and little scurrying rabbits too
Down in the meadows I will lay my head and invent stories for you
Poem after poem sharing dreams and hopes while scrying the skies
I want you to imagine the flavor of my peach by the noon day sun
I want to share the incensed room of my aspire when dusk is done
Up on the hills where the emerald grass glistens with fulgent dew
while the epigraphs of my mental etchings sit here waiting for you
I want you to be you and I want me to be me so we can both be free
to share our joys and pains and know that we are human, equally
I want to write about a sky so blue, that every square of heaven sighs
poem after poem I will write about everything that grows and flies.

Minor strength holds the small seedling from the start;
Allowing it to be placed near the river.
Refreshing water wets the fertile soil’s part;
Yearly fruits fill the branches that grow faster.
Radiant zenith of triumph shines at present
On oasis of birds neath the sky fulgent.
Sought as a warm shelter or sanctuary;
Even the leaves make it an elegant tree.

Stiff, stifling, arid air: snakes, lizards, sand,
and cactus. Scorched red rocks and baking skin.
My canteen empty in a barren land -
my romance landscape till first love walked in.
One summer evening under moon's cool beam,
the desert's xeric heat no longer cursed.
Lazing with friends. A pool... in walked my dream.
First glance: a tall, cool drink to slake all thirst.
Then as her eyes met mine, my blood ran warm.
My hand touched hers; both temp and pulse were raised.
In time, slow dancing - two bodies conform,
and with that first kiss, fulgent flames soon blazed.
The desert heat from which I'd just emerged
blithely returned, as first love's swelter surged.

A Peaceful Setting
Written: by Miracle man
3/19/2020
The fulgent sun has settled lower,
at long last, surrendering to darkness.
Street lights now permeate through leafless Oak branches
creating skeletons on mottled ground.
Seemingly intent on disrupting my peaceful setting
is a pair of Owls conversing sound.

She is an AnGel in life,
Someone's mother, sister or wife.
She goes beyond the trench of pain,
Withstanding scorching sun and rain.
A mother gives her neonate,
Tactic jewels to the starlets,
Her love is perpetually unconditional,
Her heart has no counsel.
Her amour is approved by God,
By his hands he conceived the mold.
Her love is salubrious,
It's the fruit that dine our essence.
There's nothing she can't handle!
She's the burning candle,widening lucent;
Pushing darkness away, inviting to be fulgent.
She's is a lioness,don't mess with her;
She'll not relent you if you're a prankster.
She always put her self at menace,
She's real not fake..
Value her,Love her,
She's your UNIVERSE..!!

Thunder roars throughout the night,
Echoing off the walls of white.
Beyond the rooftops the sky glows
With splendid colors of varied tones.
Glint of the fireworks coquettishly imbue
The dark satin sky with a wondrous revue.
Along the shore admirers look to see
Dancing lights mirroring on a wading sea.
The raining confetti fades away,
Leaving all yearing the fulgent display.
Another year they all must wait
To celebrate the new and stay up late.

This heart it knows no boundaries
This simple truth I know
Let not your tender heart be troubled
I would not let you go.
Your charm draws me to your shores
In sunbeams of your fulgent glow
This truth: My heart your love adores
I would not let you go.
As time may fleet and seasons die
These words I'd have you know
If health may bid our lives goodbye
I would not let you go.
Whatever joy may bless these eyes
Whatever dark our lives may blow
I shall but love you in every sunrise
I would not let you go.
And in my life your charms embrace
Like flowers our love would grow
And in earths light your Angels face
I would not let you go.
You have touched my heart so bright
For you my dreams I'd forgo
Thro' tears, thro' joys and blackest night
I would not let you go.
