Premium Member Salmon

Listen to poem:
Frothing, frigid fjords
Fling forth fine stippled
Salmon, streaking upstream.
Roe-rich fish, flashing
Fat and fulgent:
Spurred to spawn, to spurt
Then sputter -- spasmodic.
Spectral. Unspared.

Welcoming Spring

On
lucent
gossamer
wings fulgent in
my precious garden
nymphs spin golden trumpets
welcoming spring. Gentian bells
sway blithely beneath jubilant
incantations arousing cupids
ardent desire blossoming cherry pink.

Premium Member A Peaceful Setting

A Peaceful Setting Written: by Miracle man 3/19/2020 The fulgent sun has settled lower, at long last, surrendering to darkness. Street lights now permeate through leafless Oak branches creating skeletons on mottled ground. Seemingly intent on disrupting my peaceful setting is a pair of Owls conversing sound.

Gossamer Snare

In pale dawn light, when dew drops glisten,
I listen to a chorus of larks as they chatter.
Scattered about my garden, lilies are in bloom.
Perfumed petals varnished by the fulgent sun.
Spun, is a tangled web between the leaves,
as a busy spider weaves a gossamer snare.

Lucent Skies

celestial lotus
illumines indigo skies ~
pearlescent white winter moon

fulgent faceted diamonds
radiant starlight ~
veiled and waning by morning

sunrise glimmers on the lake
dawn's paintbrush holds pastel hues ~
topaz reflections

Peak

Minor strength holds the small seedling from the start;
Allowing it to be placed near the river.
Refreshing water wets the fertile soil’s part;
Yearly fruits fill the branches that grow faster.

Radiant zenith of triumph shines at present
On oasis of birds neath the sky fulgent.
Sought as a warm shelter or sanctuary;
Even the leaves make it an elegant tree.

Happy Birthday

As the autumn comes by once
As a night each day
As my morning in the dews
Then your face as the sun

As fulgent as you near life
As the effete heart beats for vastness
As your thoughts crave for passion
Then your fancies as wide as the moon

As I use my knees for you
As i solicit to the gates of ecstasy
To waking up in the room of colors
Then I'd wish your day blithe and white.

Woman Dark

Naked woman, woman dark
clothed in your color
with your form of beauty
lost in this forest of love
I am the furtive hunter
through sleeping dense foliage
I seek you
as one seeks a fulgent bird...

Now on this sun baked pass
at the height of summer and noon
I ramble through the thicket
bringing back to my solitude
the most fulgent plumage
the purple plumage of your dazzle
and your beauty strikes me to the heart
like the flash of an eagle...

Hanabi -Fireworks-

Thunder roars throughout the night,
Echoing off the walls of white.

Beyond the rooftops the sky glows
With splendid colors of varied tones.

Glint of the fireworks coquettishly imbue
The dark satin sky with a wondrous revue.

Along the shore admirers look to see
Dancing lights mirroring on a wading sea.

The raining confetti fades away,
Leaving all yearing the fulgent display.

Another year they all must wait
To celebrate the new and stay up late.
