Knock-knock, hello ma'am! Take a look at this shine,
a brand-new skillet to make your dinner divine.
I see you’ve been working and slaving all day,
with pots that turn gravy, charcoal and gray.
But look at this surface, so sleek and so smooth,
designed for your kitchen, with patterns that soothe.
No butter, no grease, and no scrubbing the sink,
it cooks up a steak as quick as a wink.
Your eggs will slide out like a puck on the ice,
your hubby will swear, the chicken tastes nice.
It's forged out of steel that was meant for a jet,
the sturdiest tool that a woman can get.
So toss out that iron that weighs down your wrist,
an offer like this is too good to be missed.
Just sign on the line and I’ll hand you the best,
and give your old cook stove a much-needed rest.
I have a lot of clothes I don’t use any more.
Some of them I have never even worn before.
Yes, I got those in my days of impulse shopping.
The styles are unique and the colors are popping!
Look at all my dresses; suits I have a few of.
But you’ll find among my tops one you’re sure to love.
Tops from my skinny days might be just right for you.
They don’t fit me now, but I have some loose ones too.
All the ones that I have worn have been cleaned and pressed.
Compliments I’ve gotten from folk who were impressed
by the fit and loveliness of some of my clothes.
Let me point out for you the very best of those.
Do you like the flowered print of this silken blouse?
Here’s a skirt polka-dotted loved by my own spouse
who pays little heed to things that people wear!
See this little black dress right here? It has such flair.
I promise you won’t get a better deal than mine
at any thrift shop these days on items so fine.
Were you to buy a hundred dollars worth of these,
I’d send them off to you without the shipping fees.
Would you like to buy my car
It’s good on gas takes you far
It also runs on electricity smart
And you can find a place to charge
It’s comfortable and roomy too
If you’re tired it can drive for you
It remembers your preferred routes
Takes your there without a doubt
Smart car with a new shiny paint job
It shuts down in case you’re robbed
It scares the car thieves far away
Records their image which they hate
I’m only selling because I need
To get a larger one yes indeed
This little car has been great
Inexpensive with class very safe
I light the candle for my wife
memory of her honest life
No more is felt her gracious way
absent her presence, I shall not stay
For Sale
~~~~~
Australian botanical cycad
Dark evergreen foliage
Grows huge
Includes large modern Norwegian oval pot
Quick reluctant sale
Tenacious unique variety
Wonderful xerophyte young Zamia
They have used us enough
We’re so done with their stuff
We will trade them for dust
Some old snails, or just rust
We’ll exchange them for rocks
They ship well in a box
And to save on some freight
We’ll ship two to a crate
Or between some stale bread
Like a putrefied spread
And once you post their bail
We will pluck them from jail
Then grab hold of their rings
At the end of their strings
Glued to bobble-head brains
That no longer contain
One full thought of their own
That’s why they need a home
But if their head pops loose
It’s just due to misuse
And when their strings are tugged
From both sides of their mug
You’ll hear recorded sounds
That expound and confound
So while it’s in mid-pitch
Just toss it in a ditch
Get the heck out of there
Pinky promise and swear
You’ll chuck mail in trash bins
For used politicians
Today our world is threatened by,
An evil that should make us cry.
It’s vicious as a tidal wave,
And involves men who trade in slaves.
Their victims are young girls and boys,
whom they abduct and sell as toys,
to clients who are pedophiles,
Who makes them live in constant dread.
The number of these chaste child slaves,
is more than those who crossed the waves,
in ships with men crammed in the hold
destined to be bought and then sold.
Why is there, not a great outrage,
Against this evil of the age?
Is it because powerful men,
use these children in their playpens?
The God who loves them hears their cries,
Their plight is painful to His eyes.
Those who hurt them are fit to die,
by drowning when the tide is high.
Let all of us join in the fight,
To rid the world of this black blight.
Support the ones who risk the grave,
for every child, they try to save.
We need to let these perverts know,
That we would fight them toe to toe.
Let’s shout it loud, tell without fail,
That God’s children are not for sale.
My mind sold out
When you bought me
For three hundred and sixty-five.
But remember,
Love wasn't there.
Yes, I am the least of your pet
But more than that
I am your happiness
For your money
But only for a moment.
I'm your slave
For flesh, for sale
The lowest price in town.
Was my dignity pounder on man?
Look at the back of my tag price
Lays the emanating love.
No-one truly knows what a moment is worth.
The movie's not over till the credits are run.
Life will never be fair for time has no conscience.
...and then we rip their wings off.
Plastic, silencer of the pocketful of nips timpani.
The dog looked as if it had been used to dust under the bed.
A feral cat stared into the abyss of hunger.
"Can you feel the soul of an abandoned house;
can you hear the whispering? "
Quote by _Constance La France
Dark atmosphere surrounds deserted home
Aeons ago filled with sound of laughter
Its soul does not linger it tends to roam
Lost and adrift, grim without its master.
Those whispering voices filled with sadness
Permeating this old desolate house
Windows-like eyes shrouded with bleak blackness
A sign erected a sale is announced.
Dismal exterior is deterrent
Cold shivers at whispers can't be denied
Soulless nature empty and abhorrent
In this place, sanity does not abide.
Deserted, abandoned empty for years
Sunshine days long gone just whispers and tears.
A heart for sale
Used rather well
Wrapped in chain
No entry to gain
Under lock and key
Don't ever truly see
No one to be there
Do I care
Don't really know
Where can I go
To find that hidden key
No heart is free
Can one truly see
Whats hidden in plain sight
A soul lost , still searching for the light
Across this endless blue
Searching for one that's true
A single tear i cry
Who am I
To hold on to this hope so long
Even after things go wrong
What do I see
The hidden key
Do you understand
My heart you hold in your hand
You can break down my wall
Don't let me fall
But I give it for free
A part of me
Only you can see
Who I am inside
The person I always hide
To set me free.
Use this key
Treat me right, you must
For in you I trust
The Visit Part 6
The hospital room was bathed with a warm light. Prisms of luminosity shone
and fired out through a mass of flaming red hair. She was the most beautiful angel
she had ever seen. "Hello, my name is Pietra, I'm your guardian angel. She
wanted to speak but words failed her, " Save your breath. I can hear you through
your heart and soul. " (she smiled, and an ice castle crumpled from within)
"From the looks it Jenny they are struggling to survive. Follow me. This will help you
change your mind"
