plump red strawberries
the kind we knew last red dusk
when time inched by brusque

garnet stars flash on
scarlet leaves and cardinals
mars phenomenal

crimson dragonflies
when fruitful days are going
true colors showing

Premium Member Dismantled Rainbow

Fragile resolve aspires
to capture the residual rainbow,
weaves the lattice of life
with spectral ribbons,
turns into a self-destructive
psychosis syndrome
that fails to fling
the insane illusion
in the cloud of dreams,
for it has hypnotic leverage
on the mind,
mangled by
s t o r m.

Wedged by the splitting bevel
of slashing time,
the frail fragments of failure
get lacerated from life,
scatter on the path
to the rainbow,
yet untraveled,
meanders marooned
in debris of derelict dreams,
disappear down the deep sinkhole
of dusky oblivion.

In lucent mystique mind,
transmuting thoughts
flash on
ebony emotions.
Absolved of self-qualm
psychic crystal sparkles
in sense stars’ aurora flare,
traces the prime trajectory
from the cosmic soul’s
nebulous abyss,
within.

In the mesmeric meadow
of the inner topography,
seraphic shadows dance mystified
with gorgeous sequined glitter
of the sensuous stardust
in the tune of
buoyant bliss.
The discernment mindscape
makes the montage
of the existential rainbow,

Premium Member Melody of Bliss

My sorrowful sight sinks in the darkness within to see
the sanctum of the soul, still like the deep blue sea.

It finds where the torrent of tears I cry flows to lie
in the cauldron of the scorched essence till it is dry.

Melancholic mind then searches for the sense of glee,
like the cheery cloud in the somber sky it floats free.

Tinged rays of the new sun flash on the face of gloom,
in the barren plant once more the buds of joy bloom.

The radiant hues illumine the pallid life to shine bright,
the feelings glitter in the divine glow of the inner light.

The rapture stream cascades unbound within my heart,
there I hear the serene song with melody of bliss start.

“Nocturnal silk sheathes the woods,
moon dust laces lattice on lush leaves,
fireflies flash on the trail of dream”. By Poet

The opaque film of darkness spreads silently
out of the cauldron of infinite emptiness,
that the sky shapes at the edge of the dwindling dusk,
its condensed vestige configures the amorphous night.

The black tapestry stretches the silken swathe
to the hinge of the hazy horizon where twilight dissolves
like the rainbow melting on the skyline,
from where the satin shade flows to form the fluid night.

The sound of sensual silence echoes in the night sky,
wakes up the sleeping stars to sparkle bright
on the bejeweled crown adorning the amorous ambiance,
with the moonbeam strands I weave the dream of you.

In the stardust sprinkled sapphire night I see you
emerge out of my dream like an angel,
and walk in the craving corridor of my mind,
my love embraces you with nocturnal charm.

Premium Member Twilight Settles In

Twilight settles in
     after the wind drops off
   when the lightning bugs
     flash on and off
   and the crickets
     ratchet up their screeching

   later, still as a cemetary
     ~ dead of the night

Premium Member Observing Life's Little Moments

Sitting here at the town square
watching people going around here
a girl feeding pigeons with bread
how these birds love eating so very dear

Another old lady drinking coffee
on a seat nearby in the sun
at the centre of the square steps
the water sprinkler sprays just for fun

Flashing lights flash on the main street
there nearby there's the police and ambulance
racing by going to some emergency
thankfully we have them even a glance

Lovely trees surround the square
so colourful as the sun shines through
even the breeze waves its effect
now the sun's warmer on our face so true

This is spring anticipating summer
bring it on whatever its number!

(Just some thoughts sitting at the town square in Southport, England a few weeks ago while enjoying a short break there.)

Premium Member Win the War

In the tough war field action crawls the soldier
across the hostile ground riddled with mine,
charges with the loaded gun on his shoulder,
revenge and rage in fighter mind sorely combine.

Facing the lurking danger of dying any instant,
sparkle of the smiling face of his little daughter
he sees flash on the screen of sense dormant,
he subsides awhile for his mission is to slaughter.

His assigned task now is to kill the enemy at sight
with the hands that fondly caressed his daughter,
fear of death is killed by the incitement to fight,
he must live for her, it’s not the time to falter.

Be a bold soldier, fight for a cause without fear,
you will live for the loved ones winning the war.

Premium Member Configured Dream

Silver hue
stardust spreads
night turns blue.
On forest’s faint pathway
rustling leaves stir darkness
dust of dream flies away
to where my footprints go
rests in obscurity
covering my shadow.
I meander through forest at night
breathing the mystique mist lying low
the stars bring your glimmer to my sight.
The rising sun lifts a bright dawn new
the horizon blossoms in colors
I see pure patina flash on you
as you embrace me with gleam of grace
my yearning configures into dream
its image I find etched on your face.

Premium Member A New Journey

Nimbus clouds drifted over me from the sinking horizon
Etched on these I saw the image of my marooned mind
Wandering forlorn in the seamless smoky sky of sorrow.

Broken dreams drizzled from the melting morose clouds
Enmeshing me with the latent lattice of gripping gloom
Gliding on the surging cascade of agony inundating the eyes
In swirling storm of devastating despair I searched for a trail.
Nascent dawn ascended with the rising sun promising me
New beginning as I found fervent hues flash on your face
Inspiring me to return from the edge of desolate wasteland
Never to stray away from the verge of the verdant meadow.
Gleefully I began a new journey on the garden path with you
Saw in your eyes all my departed dreams return one by one.

Premium Member Draping the Shadow

My memory carves an image indelible,
time could not take it away in the flight.
On the shore of shimmering sea
I weaved my love for you,
with romantic spectrum of the sunburst silk sky,
painted the profile of future landscape.

Our hearts beating in harmony took entwined shape,
as the sun sank to set, passing us by,
I couldn't release your hands I knew.
I felt the joy, so free
could flash on your face like the luster of twilight.
I was flushed with longing incredible.

Your yearning touch I still feel for it’s durable
like the glow of pole star I saw that night,
but you went where you wished to be,
far away from my view.
I can’t forget that night howsoever I try,
with moondust lattice your shadow I drape.

Red lights flash on Canary Comm
  Ice 9 warning once again
To stay or fly not serious
Who can avoid the cryogenic madness?

Most carry on Ice 9 inside
Like DNA or something drives it
No matter line no breaking in
A perfect prison for the mind

If only to contain
The Ice 9 to one brain
Observe the crystal goblet
From the safety of a body distance

Instead, we fortify to ramparts
  Drawing weapons seizing
Ice 9 spills outside the brain
  Foreboding thinking freezing

The Lunatic Holy Man

The Lunatic Holy Man
Hole in the ozone layer
of his sense increases.
He mutters to the tomb
of his father, while
clumsy expressions
flash on his face.
A hundred fools
watch him with awe.
It’s paradoxical
they chant holy verses.
He has a big
sedimentary belly
formed from offerings.
He heals the insane,
rustics say,
patting on their crests
or tying black cords
around their waists.
There’s a panacea
for peace for many
in his absurd mantras.
He became a holy man
after his dad’s death
with the privilege of birth.
Lunacy adds charm
to his character.
Fame is sometimes
a friend to folly.
Even the distant mother
comes with her daughter
for a cure.
There’s a relief in belief.
