Notes About The Poem

strawberry autumn

plump red strawberries
the kind we knew last red dusk
when time inched by brusque

garnet stars flash on
scarlet leaves and cardinals
mars phenomenal

crimson dragonflies
when fruitful days are going
true colors showing

Oh my, I'm loving the raspberry rhapsody in these fruity lines that are truly enchanting and so mesmeric for my cherry heartbeats! Adore all these shades of red that you've painted in these words... So ethereal ~ "garnet stars flash on scarlet leaves and cardinals", " Crimson dragonflies " Ahh, such a stunning chain of haikus! I absolutely loved reading this.. Your words feel heavenly everytime and was a pleasure reading you after such a long time. Hope you have been doing well :) best wishes.

We haven't had the first frost yet, so we're sill getting the 'daybearer' variety of strawberries. Thank you for the wonderful compliment.

Thank you very much for your lovely remarks, Maria. I find dragonflies fascinating, particularly their incredible flight capabilities. They can even fly backwards, or straight up, like a helicopter! Blessings. :)
