Configured Dream

Silver hue stardust spreads night turns blue. On forest’s faint pathway rustling leaves stir darkness dust of dream flies away to where my footprints go rests in obscurity covering my shadow. I meander through forest at night breathing the mystique mist lying low the stars bring your glimmer to my sight. The rising sun lifts a bright dawn new the horizon blossoms in colors I see pure patina flash on you as you embrace me with gleam of grace my yearning configures into dream its image I find etched on your face. _________________ July 4, 2021 Contest : A 3-6-9 Poem Sponsor : Emile Pinet January 12, 2022 Brian Strand Contest A Strand (1050)
