See, faced with no one,
yet in my mind I see him everywhere.
The best thing for me;
do not name it,
stitch my mouth,
say nothing.
But silence is never nothing.
Silence is the loudest thing he gives me.
What seizes the eye at once
makes the heart beat between lines.
Utmost, inexplicable, perpetual stimulation.
Now the wind blows mournfully,
and I let it.
Naturally, flagrantly, palpably,
replaying each line,
bona fide, constantly, truthfully, carefully.
Beating through language,
an ache written sideways,
pain grammar cannot hold.
Devil-may-care.
On the edge of a single smile,
he walks through my thoughts.
Every gesture is an answer.
Every lack of gesture is an answer.
I build whole futures
out of unfinished sentences.
Between my wanting
and his unknowing,
through life's clenched jaw,
I cling to the unrequited knowledge
of reciprocity.

How long do you think
you can ride the coattails
of blissful ignorance?
Isn't it flagrantly obvious that
you are skating on thin ice...
and equally evident that
you're living on borrowed time?
How long do you think
you can get away with avoiding
the elephant in the room?
Have I been the unjaded enabler
whilst my silence should have screamed
to you louder than any multitude of decibels?

Christmas is a long song sung in winter,
An epic poem written with white quill feather pen and
Gold ink, and on clouds of paper,
Beginning from a sneezing December to a
Dizzying twelfth-calendar month,
When snow drizzles gently into the souls of
Those who hearken to the tinkling sound of
The church bell which rings gently with the weight of
The slow-passing season.
I see whiteness in every song, with so much redness;
Regal and romantic; flagrantly friendly.
Oh, how pure!
Oh, how sweet!
Well, that’s Christmas.
It lights up the courage in us to think right and assume
Merriment in the warmness of some frozen hearts.
It’s the best time of the year.
I swear to this because I am a child of Christmas.
It’s a time of fog and dew and sleet that rebaptise us.
Let’s not forget the slanting rain whose liquid kisses us.
And white Christmas of snow-carpeted lands and seas.
There’s no other time or season like it.
So full of gentleness and love,
Christmas causes hearts to race s-l-o-w-l-y,
As the year races on to breast the tape of seasons.

Idyllic illicit illusion…
Complicit daydream delusion…
Explicit panoply profusion…
Other worldly garlanded gems..
Purring poetic…balletic..stirring kinetic aesthetic..
Absurdly drop atop delicious stems..
Heavenly blue hue...serenity’s serendipitous shade..
Or purple patch so plush…fairies blamelessly blush..
Bucolic blossom hush... mother nature's made..
Garnishing..varnishing.. intricate forest floor laid..
Magical mist…delicate..sumptuously sprayed...
Trysts persist…unctuously dappled glade..
How can you resist..not be swayed?
Flagrantly decadently displayed.
Fragrantly delectably conveyed...
Casts seasonal smorgasbord spells..
Marvel at the mythical majesty..
Spring’s cocooned woven tapestry..
Festooned filigree of bluebell dells

The coldness of your methodical emptiness
shrewdly poisoned me with a darkness
Unavoidable.
I'll make it, some how.
You tainted me with rugged blood,
I saw it splatter over the spacious past unto
The nihilistic future of all saints and devils.
But, why?
There's something to your non verbal speech
I'd love to find out.
We listen to your silence
The very thing that permeates our surroundings.
And find utter nothingness.
You committed suicide,
We won't make it if you are sleeping on the job.
Somehow, we believe you rose from hellfire,
Yet still flagrantly asleep in a world where you
Never existed.
Explain this corruption now breathing in our veins?
And if it's all the same to non-existent you,
It's killing us just the same.

She eyed open like a broken mirror.
Her mother claimed
that her legs were bowed
so that she could catch the moon
between her black knees on moonless nights.
Tiny mandibles chewed her leather tongue
until it was as thin as a razor edged rapier.
it was her beef jerky meditations
that kept her words fibrous and tactile.
I married Ladybug inside a bottle
of sweet yellow Merlot
(we were stuck and sticky
in the last drops of a licking love).
She wore a red spotted dress
and her shoes were pincer bright.
I flagrantly fought her to a standstill
in my usual green camouflage.
Her father chased me for days
for I had stolen her hard shell-like mind;
he never caught me
though he did put a spell inside my head,
a Catholic chain-mailed spell
that bound me to her hard carapace
as if I were an aphid -
a gummy mouthed aphid
that could only hitch a ride
strapped to her ever searching hunger.

I will write a poem
A blue rose she has to be
Freshly pruned so extremely
Blue she turns the heads of
Nobility and ordinary folks
Yes the elegance of the rose
Especially i will compose a love
Letter to my most picturesque
And feverishly adored
How flagrantly i have spent
Insurmountable times and times
And times wishing for what
Can only be savored with
Waterfalls of respect
A stately being
Such a creature can only
Survive in perfect paradise
Yes, better to pucker my dear
For your expected kiss.
This poem is a reflection of
My life which I give to my
Everlasting beauty of
Captivating connection and
Magnetic appearance. This
Lovely tenderness I give my
Everything to.
The bluest nose
I am privileged to have been
Chosen by this majestic
Being from the INDIGO ROSE
GARDEN THE EPIC BLUE

All hearts are young and gay in Spring
When youth's charade is in full swing.
Toward love's sweet well you shyly slink,
Once there you do not hesitate to drink
Or stop to think what will tomorrow bring.
Youth, flagrantly ablaze with Summer's fires,
Engulfed in new and strange desires,
In words naïve, but honey-sweet,
You prate of love without deceit,
But passion's heat, unbridled, soon expires,
And all the torrid promises you made
By Summer's end begin to fade.
Those fervent words hang dry and bare
When Autumn's chill is in the air,
And rare the fruit that ripens in the shade.
But 'neath the glaze of Winter's snows
Love's ember dims, yet still it glows.
It hides and bides its time 'til Spring
When hearts revive and come alive again,
And love's sweet well reswells and overflows.

Mad Max and the Thunderdome
Matinee at the brand new cine
money for tickets but little else
Indeed we had not any
my purse the repository
Each a burger and coke
finding the theater empty
Look it's ours,in union spoke
Finding a tier of few chairs
Simultaneously we plopped
Only to find them unbolted to floor
As our secreted foodstuffs we dropped
Onions flagrantly scenting the air
Our toes to the ceiling
Without any flair
cans of coke rolling away without care
Hurriedly jumping to feet
Scrambling contraband to secrete
Cat back in the bag before usher arrived
Offering free popcorn, SAAWEET.

A hermit without a shell is a
weak, pitiful creature.
It wonders alone for onlookers to
moisturise their naked skin with
empty tears.
They feel no shame when mocked
for their fetishized strife;
flagrantly flailing their flaking skin
to justify their tantrums.
The terror and turmoil that it sheds
plagues even those passingly amused.
Until we are all naked, afraid and alone.

I faced this man looking at me
He said you’re handsome and cute
Your face emits intelligent sparks
You’re bold and flagrantly frank
Voice vibrates with confident tunes
You’re logical, at times tangentially crank
Body speaks ego-leaning language
You’re charismatic with urban elan
Eyes encase dreams, at times tears
You’re caring and adoringly magnetic
You’ll soon meet your love
Elated, I looked real close
Saw this man in the mirror.

Wondering when comments should occur?
What one needs to say or flagrantly display?
Clever in excess?
Brilliance neglected.
I rhyme without thinking.
Bare my soul!
To strangers unknown.
If I rely on accolades
To prove my words matter
No courage is required.
As ignored, I may be.
The best of you all
That you never see!

Gifts of Air and Water
A little more money,
and I could buy…
exactly what my kid wanted.
Yet I found,
that it may not be,
exactly what they needed.
For less, I could choose,
to get the best of usefulness.
For more, I could buy flagrantly useless.
The smile on my kids face,
may or may not be equally the same,
but the memory in my heart,
that I want to keep,
is very different.
I wish to teach a lesson,
of being a good steward.
I also wish to lavish my love.
The moment passes.
I do the right thing.
Thank you Lord.
Shop on.

II.
A politician just said to her crowd
what need have we for a border?
It’s a good thing to help poor folks in need,
we should let them all come over.
Even thought cartels control who gets through,
and subject the women to rape,
then off the choice ones as concubines,
dooming them to an awful fate.
And even when most of those foreigners
flagrantly violate our rules,
take people’s jobs, undercut all our laws,
yet lefties still think it’s all cool?!
Now they want us to pay for their health care,
when we cannot afford the same?
It’s fair to say they’re not on our side,
the left has gone friggin’ insane.
