Kim Rodrigues Poet Free verse

Curious Crows

                                                                                           full-bodied crows
                                                                                              profoundly near
                                                                                            ebonic wingspan
                                                                                           gliding and diving
                                                                                        in dusky parking lot
                                                                                          what caused them
                                                                                         to stir, so flagrantly
                                                                                       as twilight shoppers
                                                                                    pack in their groceries
