This year, my one and only goal,
Is to uncover the layers of my soul.
To sift through the wreckage, mend what I find,
To unlearn the chains that still bind my mind.
From echoes of trauma, from shadows of fear,
I’ll build a new path that feels sincere.
I’ll grow through the lessons my past has sown,
And heal the parts of me I’ve never known.
Acceptance will be my guiding light,
Through restless days and sleepless nights.
I’ll speak with kindness to the child within,
Forgiving the battles I didn’t win.
To achieve this, I’ll take it slow,
With patience as I learn to grow.
Through journaling, tears, and quiet walks,
Through love that softens my inner talk.
For finding myself is the key to it all,
No longer afraid to stumble or fall.
I’ll become whole, steady, and true,
And learn to love me, as I’ve learned to love you
I'm tired of moving
trying to fit in when I
never feel at home
Losing myself where no one knows my name
I am confronted
the waves telling me to
find myself again
Finding myself again
My mind is awash in uncertainty.
I feel terror welling up in my heart.
I do, however, see that I must escape.
I was so relieved to re-discover myself.
I'm trying to have the guts to be who I am.
In order to muster the courage to be strong,
I want to be the person I was supposed to be.
Certainly, I have answered the call.
I spent years
Trying to get you to
See me for who I am.
But you only looked at me
And saw what I wasn't.
So I tried to change
So your see me for once,
Really see me.
I tried to do anything
For you
But still you
Couldn't see me for who I was.
So I gave up trying.
To get you to see Me.
You only see what you wanted.
I was never the daughter you wanted.
You told me bunch.
Those words always stuck
With me.
And never lefted.
Now I'm trying to
Find myself again.
And love myself
For who I am.
And the person you didn't.
I look back in the abyss of conscious,
I numbered my seven lives as cat.
Each time I fall, I lost part of motions,
I left speechless, breathless and red.
In all those diving and labyrinths
my presence was hiding invisible.
But then I rise up again, charming,
with new truths and principles.
I grew up each time almost dying,
my old body rest in the past.
A new wisdom comes after crying,
a new peace replace all the vast.
And learning the meanings of cycles,
my face got a new look from pain.
Like cat I reborn, a woman alike,
and pure new hard disk in brain.
My life is a spiral of valleys and hills.
I know, I will climb that high mountain,
and reunited I will joyfully feel.
The value I add to my new founding.
Ferrying in the ocean of my thoughts,
I happen to see the dreams that I lost.
All alone and sailing on an endless ocean,
Deafening screams emanating from my lesion.
A moonless night that takes me away,
With nothing but pain leading the way.
I see a glint of light,
A radiant bird in flight.
I row to the end of the tunnel long,
To find me in the mirror all along.
I see the smile that faded from my lips,
I miss my merry sojourn and trips.
I miss myself most of all,
The happy version who slew the demon, and stood tall.
Time the healer at work again,
Allowing cheer and happy thoughts to ingrain.
I smile this time with a resolve strong,
Never miss me for the rest of the journey long.
Being a loner liking my own company
this being my early life was so shy
stammered too made me so insecure
liked my own self but my life was why?
Moving on till the mid 20s where was I?
stay in nights listen to Dory Previn music
not heading in any real direction
made one think and ponder to lose it
Started to write poems so dark, depressive
but pretty rotten stuff, so threw it away
then met my wife to be, life was good
but disaster struck, Jean left our day
Return sad from hospital , what is future?
prepare for bed, mind all over place
but at this point cried out to God
my soul found itself for God was on my case
I had met the living God
His love encaptured me I was caught
God drew my soul to His kingdom
finding myself where I never thought
(This is my life story of my soul finding itself in meeting God where least expecting to but pleased I did.
My first wife Jean passed away during our first year of marriage)
I had went looking for myself
Searching the places I'd hide
I thought I could ever hear
Her innocent muffled cry
I looked in every room
And behind every looked door
I felt she was waiting on me
Desperately wanting something more
I got lost in my prison
In its walls that twist and turn
The deeper I went in
My skin would start to burn
Cofusion consumed me
Things that's my flesh would crave
Little did I know, I was holding
The shovel that digs my crave
She knew I was coming
And hid from me in that dark place
She didn't want me to see
Her distorted wicked face
Demons now comforted her
For me, she would humbly pray
She wanted me to be at peace
For Grace to free me one day
Me, by my self
standing
alone
searching self
powerfully.
I am
beside myself.
Aside from
myself there’s
no-one
looking
deep within
to know me
intimately.
Finally, I find
myself there
inside of self.
I be …soul, mind,
heart and spirit;
Manifested
poetry.
You really can’t see me
unless you read me.
Finding Myself
Eureka!
My buffoonery has been found!
My gullible lies buried them down.
Extraordinary was this find.
With joy I almost lost my mind.
My heart fills with empathy,
For those who feel empty.
Depression weights the soul.
Ubiquitous, it takes it's toll.
I am, again filled with light.
It shoots out from me, a spectacular delight.
Out of the darkness, now I see.
I was lost before,
But now I am free.
I don’t fit in the crowd I stand out,
So I’m excluded can't hangout,
Every single day without a debate,
People are always gunna hate,
They will also alienate!
So why do I try so hard to be accepted?
When that only leads to me being rejected!
The fact is I'll always be an outcast,
The kid that always gets picked last.
But yet I still try so hard,
Despite just being a discard.
No one can see my pain,
That it's a constant strain,
Or every single scar;
From where I went too far.
Alas I wasn't going to die,
No matter how hard I try.
So I decided to just be me,
As you'll never be judgement free.
There's no point in being fake,
Caring what people think is the mistake!
I looked up to the sunset,
I looked up with no regret.
I found myself in its color,
I stood there in the midst of summer.
It was a beautiful end to a horrible start,
I let go of you and a piece of my heart,
but at least I found myself while letting go,
at least now my true colors can show.
It was an end before it became a begging,
it ended with me killing,
killing the old me,
and setting the real one free.
I lost you,
but I found myself too.
Gazing upon the stars in the night
This incredible evening filled with moonlight
Though not in this place, I have stood here before
Many times sending thoughts to your door
Can my thoughts reach you?
If I have a thought it has to produce
An electrical synapse that breaks loose
Traveling the deserted vast desert of stars
Energy from my thought's traveling infinitely far
How can I guide them for you to receive
Someway, somehow there must be a key
Locked energy of thoughts freed from flight
Together ,even as distant as opposite ends of light
