I spent years Trying to get you to See me for who I am. But you only looked at me And saw what I wasn't. So I tried to change So your see me for once, Really see me. I tried to do anything For you But still you Couldn't see me for who I was. So I gave up trying. To get you to see Me. You only see what you wanted. I was never the daughter you wanted. You told me bunch. Those words always stuck With me. And never lefted. Now I'm trying to Find myself again. And love myself For who I am. And the person you didn't.
