Moonlight's Bright Tonight, Part 2

Moonlight’s bright tonight.
Let’s go outside and play
In the streets of the city.
Morning’s far away.

We’ll dance in the streets,
Race under the stars,
Staring into the eyes
Of oncoming cars.

They’ll tell us their wisdom
In archetypical style
Of the roles that we play
And if we survive.

The dogs of the city,
They howl and they fight,
Then fortune they share
For our hungry delight.

Moonlight’s bright tonight.
Let’s go outside and play
In the fields of the village.
Morning’s far away.

Still crisp air holds its breath
In silence as we watch
Moonlit shadows creeping west,
Forever out of reach.

We try to chase the shadows
Running through the trees,
Standing tall like rocket ships
Against the lonely seas.

Come along and run with me,
The fields await our gaze.
There lay mysteries

If only we could

I wish we could pack up and escape
to wherever the road will take us

I wish we could forget the world
and together start anew

Let It Explode

Every day it seems a battle,
finds a way to leave you rattled,
the nonsense you see on TV,
lots of lies from the legacy,
traffic jams, can’t work from home,
boss demands, tell his where to go,
just goes on, the price we must pay,
comes a time you must get away!

I want to go off,
let this thing blow off,
the stress

A paradox - is there an escape?

Trapped in a box of the oppressors mind 
A paradoxical sentence where we don't get to survive 
Silence a promise to a world outside
Compliance a prison confined till we die 

Discombobulated choices
Either way each decision an enemy 
A fight for survival 
The endgame autonomy 
But freedom is a prize - unsure if we will win

Breaking free from reality

Tipsy when under the influence
world closes in for a private party
~ the illusion of escape brief

Matrix Fleece

Since they obtained the matrix fleece
Our fates were redesigned 
Although we didn’t ask for this
No purpose was defined
From human smell to robot dust
Is that a great escape?
What’s good for them, is bad for us
Back to the age of ape
And further on, through maze of time
And maybe backwards too

Monkey in a cage

You’ll Pick out everybody’s problems but you wont help your self 
You’d rather sit alone in pity then take care of your health
You act like it’s everybody’s fault you’ve got nothing to gain
using Magic capsules to escape your own brain
Can’t give yourself a break so you wanna do it over again

sensual touches
sate a need that aids depressed

worn as scars from rejection

Walked Away for Peace

I walked away not free from snags
caused by those in authority,
but to be free from cruelty
to save my spirit against evilness 
And injustice in power's grip

Tied up by abusive six sprawling 
division in command,
footsteps no trace, only an echo
weeping soul in the dusk!

Harsh words
dug deeper into my soul—
sickening insults
to my inner self—
a burden carried
within the shadowed kingdom.
