Rites of the Seventh Month

Empyrean drops,
Monument of July,
The pluvial chapter of life...

O July of enfeebled yolk,
Dispenser of splendour of sempervirence,
God has watered your tongue.
Therefore, pour, July, pour
The essence of life,
The grit of living
Unto the bosom of the
Seventh month and other
Months of parturition.

Let us conceive in July,
To bear in good season,
Sons of courage...
Wearing festal garments
And adorning our heads with sepia cloths,
This shall reinforce hope.
In front of the monument of July,
(A slouching image of sleepy rain)
Right on its wet feet,
Shall we bless the earth abundantly.

O July,
Bearer of thirty-one offspring,
Male and female, dew and fog,
So full of grains of years,
Frenzied and dancing your rites
Together with the age of insistent youth!
Middle age is when neither youth nor old age
Finds you worthy...

They sing:
The perception of the pristine green
Aroma of July
Is often the first of the rites
Of the seventh month.

Your Words

Down and belittled
I feel judging eyes surrounds me
They are heavy
Pressure keeps me so down
My eyes grew weary
They were soaked in tears all night
I can't sleep
I can hear them laughing so loud
I can't look at them
and I'm getting tired of facing down
I turned to heaven and then remembered
There's someone up there who created them
I called your name in time of distress
Your words gave me peace and the strength
I feel so strong that I'm able to see you
I know you'll walk with me
even in the valley of the shadow of death
you are the love that embraces me
makes me strong when I'm enfeebled
thank to Jehova's words, the Bible

Premium MemberDeath or Triumph First Draft

Her body was that of a wizened crone,
her enfeebled mind was that of a child.
Playfully, she skipped and jumped rope, and shone,
but only in her confused dreams of wild.
Her drear some days softened by her tone,
she mumbled of lost love, and her eyes smiled.

Time and age had drained her of consciousness,
stealing the current surroundings from her
and replacing them with the obtuseness
known only by those who soon become her.
She sits and thinks with laboriousness
until she succumbs and the drugs numb her.

Bats In the Mist

Imperiling through the sky with blood settled on the tip of their tounges. They call out a cult of white hoods with the Illuminati eye on the shroud humanoids with red scaly skin 8 feet tall and burrow in the mesopelagic zone stationed into a temple full of books such as the Grapes of Wrath. One bat hovers over them in the dune hills of sand stepping upon the surface revealed to be a man in black who has a very spunky charismatic mustache. His however were full of curiosity but sinister intent. The creatures who took the very enfeebled shrouds covering their faces. Revealed was stone cold face of death glowing turning the bats into them as if they were a lighthouse herding them to the ingress of a new identiy.

Leaving Your Last Breath

Like those last
luscious faintly
enfeebled breaths
bitterly breaking
through my
limply lifting lungs .
Fervently flooding
my tear filled
eyes. Tenderly
tottering into
those timidly
tight-lipped times .
Who wistfully
whispers
their coolly
cut cards of
kindred conversations.
Carefully kindling
their heart-crossed
corners of compassion.

The Meek Inherit the Whirlwind

A daylight daze
has been removed to a dark city
in a DC Comic.

Nations have swallowed their tongues,
have become a caped parody
of an undeclared independence.

The good are caught in the search lights,
the bullet heads and bare-faced bad
run the globe, turn the coats,
unify the unwilling sheep into lambs
until liberty itself is the aberration.

The enemy is a suit stuffed
with daemonic dandruff
reserved to snow job the helpless.
There is a new world order now
for the meek, weak and bolder.
Globalist's glob onto the taste of power.

Our super heroes are pot-bellied
and cancelled.
RoboCop is now a peace poet;
he gently rants
in a soundproof basement,
writes sonnets to forget
the already forgotten.

Tears and beers freefall
behind crumbling walls,
we must add too tight tights to the list
of all our ripping sorrows,
shake enfeebled fists
as menacing shadows gather
and we
ever willing to cast
accusing looks upon each other.

All, Have Similar Ending

ALL, HAVE SIMILAR ENDING
Old, white haired, teeth missing
And what's left are not too good,
Every part of the body hurts
At one time or the other.
So what do you do?
Visit the doctor? No.
Just take it to the Creator
and the Redeemer.
Who I know loves us,
More than men ever could.
He has all the answers,
He counts the hairs on my head,
And I lose them also.
That is what sin has done.
My sin? Yes, and no too,
Sins of my ancestors have
Enfeebled them and me.
The way out is not as
Many men plan or think.
We lost our way, His way.
Yes, the way He intended
Is not the way we are,
Too much of the time.
Can we find our way back?
Yes, we can, if we will change.
If we will heed His voice,
And His written word,
We can find our way back.
Out of of all the confusion,
And mess men have caused,
Listening to their own
Deranged thinking.
Pride and selfishness,
The cause in the beginning.
So let's turn around,
Back space and follow
Him who knows us,
And how we were made.
He can make us to be
What He intended for us,
In the beginning.
And, we can end up
With joy everlasting!

Eclipse

Eclipse

without sun
I am etiolated,
enfeebled, bereft

my backbone heavy
and limp,
muscles stale and indurate
from disuse

I try to lift my face,
feel the light,
even the dawn or dusk,
even when fog would cloud my vision

but I cannot move, for
my neck is fixed,
vertebrae seized, locked,
eyes that can do no more
than stare ahead

at this monolith, this
menhir, present since
I can remember
that ages me, leaves me
threadbare and faded,
as a moth-eaten blanket
fails to sustain a warm embrace

so I shiver in the shadow,
ensnared in this eclipse,
this dark moon
that will not detach me
from its bleak orbit

Premium MemberNoir Intrusions

It’s the cat on the doorstep you didn’t expect.
A burnt-out lightbulb darkening the foyer.
It’s the thought of something creepy lurking under the porch,
A feeling you might need a clever lawyer.

It’s the odd conjunction of uncanny events,
With noir intrusions scratching in the closet.
It’s a drip from the faucet you just had repaired.
Make sure your will is locked in safe deposit.

It’s a psychic vision, a dystopian dream,
A dark abstraction slinking through the mist.
It’s the merciless stab of a memory’s fang,
It’s venom much too tempting to resist.

It’s a camera obscura, a projected effect,
A vision of transgressions grim and hellish.
It dwells within the heart you're too enfeebled to protect,
A claw that rips your soul with chilling relish.

It’s the phantom at midnight. It’s the creeper at dawn.
It preys upon the lonely and the strange.
When it's time to get going, you will find yourself gone,
A gaunt and ghostly coachman at the reins.

How Grateful I Am

I came to you on enfeebled feet
Heavy of heart, downcast my eyes.
And, in a flash, you held me to your heart.
And rose high to soar like a king in the air,
The bravado of those who defy misfortune
And change adversaries, their cares gone
We were on the clouds, they wafted us on.

With you by my side, a new lease of life
The memory came, in my boyish hands
Iheld a writhing dove, dressed its wound
And released it to the sky safe and sound.

Those were years we were so sure of life
Unready for shocks, unmindful of pain
We braved the world, its stress and strife
No friend in sight and our struggles in vain.

And you came in like hope on silver wings,
I felt your presence, the comfort it gave,
In your sad but defiant eyes the strength
And solace and undying hope I sought
I was so fragile, I could bear no loss.

And within moments of our joining hands,
I was back in stride, held high my head,
Euphoric in thought, felt so young at heart.
Now that we are one, we shall build on love
And hope that conquers a million hearts.

Before the candle of life is gone, we’ll achieve
Our mission to relieve the anguish of Man.

Reunion

I came to you on enfeebled feet
Heavy of heart downcast in eyes.
And, in a flash, you lifted me
Into your arms and high in the air:

The joy, the euphoria of those who dare.
In a flash the earth and cares are gone
We soar high, the clouds waft us on.
With you by my side, a new lease of life

In my boyish hands long, long ago
I had held a squirming dove this way.
Those were years, so sure of life
Unready for shocks, unmindful of pain

I braved the world, its stress and strife
No friend in sight, my struggle in vain.
I felt your presence, the comfort it was
In your sad eyes the solace I sought

I was so fragile, I would bear no loss.
I am back in stride euphoric in thought.
I hold high my head, my heart feels younger
We have hopes to build, hearts to conquer.

Four Point Six: Little Miracles Are Miracles

A miracle isn't just a bizarre fluke
in fact, it's present anywhere we look:

It's our enfeebled earth welcoming the sun,
although a searing touch is something to shun
It is the air awake no matter the bruises from pollution,
as well as the streams without termination

The trees smugly outstretched and unperturbed,
although their tidy canopy has been greedily disturbed
It is the impetus of time's valor to evolve,
despite conditions that seem unresolved

They are the praises and prayers we instantly utter,
and our compassion freely given while we silently suffer
They are the uninterrupted moments we're able to live,
as well as the small victories we achieve

Your miracle isn't like a craved leisure outdoors,
it can be the success in mastering your intimidating chores
Above all, it is knowing there's no limit to how we thrive,
that after being lost and barely surviving we are still found alive
