Premium Member And Then

I’m setting off past through the close
Towards the light of day
Move up and down, back and forth
Without a word to say
Call me abruptly just in time
I shall return as soon as
More clouds will enclose the sky
More silence heave the corners
And then you enter with a smile
The clock stroke twelve, and then..
What's happened then to you and I?
Remind me if you can.

Lightbulb

Akin we are to Lightbulbs,
but not as may be told;
for creativity and Eureka! —
are dreams that can be sold.

We invite them their Control,
and hand over our souls;
prov'd that subtly they may embark,
and Switch us —
Bright, or Dark?

So closed our eyes will be,
whilst openess to “see”;
The circles that enclose us?
Makeshift insincerity.
Joyous as we've become,
electricity cannot run —
less so in the Dark days,
when we're left with merely crumbs.

Yet even with eyes open,
I find that it's too late,
as every word that we absorb
hits more than a mistake.
How I yearn for a new Outlet,
the farthest and unplugged,
Then trepidly I'll live the Light — in Darkness and unloved.

Merry Christmas little dove
My heart, my gift to you in love
Merry Christmas bluebird fair
Take it, treat it with due care
Merry Christmas vanilla rose
Let it all of you enclose
Merry Christmas butterfly
Never will it say goodbye

Eleanor Knightley

Previous nights were mellow and true –
Love had been tender,
Nights had never been blue –
Gentle as the dance, we swung
I hold Eleanor Knightley in my loving arms.

Crystals, amethyst and pearls she wore,
Around her neck diamonds were
Gold as her crown radiated with luminescence,
Extravagant as Egyptian Silk embraced her figure
Carelessly our bodies rhythmically swayed along.

“May I have this dance?”
I asked.
“Why certainly.”

Eleanor Knightley had manipulated my eyes –
Mesmerized by her flair and natural beauty
I am bewitched by the Madame's alluring charm.
As the night enclose –
I hold Eleanor Knightley so close –
Whisper the following words;

“The night may wilt, I say –
But the English rose blossoms foreverly.”

Sonnet

there is a sun moving you
out from the darkness of a pillow
a dream ends and slowly
you open your heavy eyes
and meet eyes exactly alike
gazing back, awakened with love;
there cannot be any noise
but the other world going on outside
the curtains enclose a soft
light, what time it is unknown,
and sunny it is because you
turned your sleepy head, opened
your eyes, and met mine;
with a kiss breaks our dawn.

Cigarettes And Cyanide

These walls that lie before me are all I have left of my past
The scars bring back the memories I wish I didn't have
Enclose me in your boiling rain in which I can't escape
Cut myself with my lies and all of my mistakes
This place feels like Eden to the world outside
No love, no pain or sorrow, just a place where I can hide
I regret ignoring all of your advice
Now I wish I listened because it could've saved my life
But if I could turn back time and do it all again
I'd do everything the same, I love the mess I'm in

Your World Is Too Small For Me To Live In

Your world is too small for me to live in,
The stars are cramped in your narrow sky,
You hem the moon with shadows so thin,
And still expect not even me to sigh.

Your oceans are pools that barely stir,
No deep tides rise, no wild winds blow,
The rivers are tamed, with banks that aren't full,
And I am lost whenever they cease to flow.

Your gardens are lovely, but walls enclose,
The blooms that fade with the setting sun,
I crave the fields where the wild things grow,
But here, they wither and die.

Your world is too small, too close, too still,
I long for lands that you cannot see,
For in your world, I cannot be filled
The space that calls oh so endlessly.

Premium Member Missing the romance

Missing the romance

In twilight’s glow, where shadows dance,
I find myself in a wistful trance;
I miss the spark, the whispered word,
the tender moments, softly heard.

The days of passion, nights of fire,
when every touch was pure desire;
The stolen kisses, secret smiles,
the longing looks that spanned the miles.

The walks beneath the moonlit sky,
where every star seemed to comply;
With dreams we shared, with hearts aligned,
A romance pure, our souls entwined.

I miss the laughter, shared in bed,
the gentle words so softly said;
The way you held me, close and tight,
in the quiet hours of the night.

Now memories are all I keep,
of love that ran so strong and deep;
I yearn for days of sweet romance,
the simple joys, the loving glance.

But in my heart, the flame still glows,
A love that time cannot enclose;
I cherish every moment past,
and dream of days when love will last.

For though the distance now may grow,
and life may lead where winds may blow;
The romance lives in memories sweet,
A dance of hearts that still repeat.

Premium Member Too Close To The Edge

I am standing much too close to the edge,
the abyss knows my name and is calling
to me like a lover making a pledge;
darkness I promise is soft and enthralling.

My heart is pounding out thoughts in my head,
my lover approaches, he is nearly here,
why am I suddenly filled with such dread;
let go of it all there's no reason to fear.

Take one more step and the night will enclose
all the pain you now feel, send it to hell,
its embers ignite to give us a glow;
we shall spend eternity wrapped in its spell.

The abyss will welcome us in its dark
maw and in the old world we'll not leave a mark.

Premium Member In the hidden realm, seeker of mysteries

In the hidden realm, seeker of mysteries,
Where do you float, my boundless Origin?
Like a falling star, you bestowed upon me
A fragment of your essence, to give birth to me in depths...
But now, in the oppressive darkness of questions,
I wonder, was it out of love, punishment, or destiny?
I wander through the labyrinth of existence, lost in contemplation,
Feeling banished to the asylum of madness,
In the midst of an endless storm of events called life.
Here, where nothing finds respite,
And everything will be forgotten in the depths of oblivion.
Here, where appearances are but shadows of reality,
And reality hides its mystical truth.
In this place, where the beauty of illusion turns into truth,
And the cult of hope becomes imperative,
Conquering pain, masking suffering,
And quenching the burning thirst of the heart.
You, elusive being,
Master of my singular truth, I beseech thee,
Let your certainty enclose me in its cage.
With joy, I shall serve my sentence,
In rhythm with the boundaries of transcendence.
For what kind of freedom would it be,
Bound by the shadows of evil?
Blessed be your justice,
And above all, your mystical Grace.

Premium Member Marvelling in the Pink afternoon

Marvelling in the pink afternoon, pretending
to crochet a drawstring. I’ve done it before,
at least once before, followed the pattern. Closed
the purse. I can’t nearly begin
to learn that not all things are meant
to bring pleasure to me…they are oft’ meant
to gift, to love, to let go
of. Don’t
pull too hard…enclose a piece of your heart
on a little toy ship…let the paper sailboat
head toward the pond-swan. Even
mom’s precious teacups sunk
to the glass bottom, broke
in pieces. Her words stay,
meaningful & meaningless.
She meant us siblings to cheek-kiss.
Dad’s eyes see through the glass bottom -
either smiling bright or sad if we fight,
so we mustn’t fight. Marvelling
in the pink afternoon, pretending
to pour tea. Laying linen
on familial laps. Kind cubes
of sugar, kerplunk, splash
about with leafy-hugs. the drawstring closes
over promising memories. Marvelling
in the pink afternoon, letting go of…

When dawn drifts into enchanted meadows…
…I’m awakened by triumphant morning shows
radiating divine Artist’s pose
supremely perfect nature can’t oppose
along firmament’s celestial glows.

When dawn drifts into enchanted meadows…
…my soul delights in haven of fellowship that does expose
gracious goodness of God* which I chose
basking under vibrant hope, surmounting woes
while communing with Him, intimately close.

When dawn drifts into enchanted meadows…
…I see myself midst floral terraces of rose and aloes
enjoying paradise-wellness where liberty goes
yon serenity and bliss can enclose
grateful to the Creator that His omnipotence my faith knows.

When dawn drifts into enchanted meadows…
…my spirit clamors for revival, arose
from rest of comforting night’s repose
to exalt the Lord with sincere praise, never verbose
inspired by His jubilant love, sans dark shadows.

*Psalms 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Endarkenment

Enshroud  yourself in darkness, black out all the light, and enclose the darkness within.
Silence the mind, silence all the sounds that surround.
Sit in the silence and darkness, embracing the endarkenment of oneself.
Be in silence and darkness
Be at peace with the silence and darkness
Find your inner light within that silence and darkness
Focus on that inner light
In the darkness resides silence and, in the silence, resides darkness, a quiet from the noise, a break from all the brightness
A place to come to, a place to sit in, be in for inside is your inner light, inside is a tranquility

Premium Member If you wish to conquer my soul in shreds of forever

If you wish to conquer my soul in shreds of forever,
Drop your mask and carry me in your embrace,
As a panther, lie in wait for me, not to steal me away,
But to dance with me in the love's palace we yearn for.
The storm inside of me is silently disarmed,
In the quiet chambers, with the murmur of an abandoned river,
Cast my becoming into the future's pastels,
And blend into my passage, smooth as a muse in flight.
If you add to our struggles the salt and bitterness of life,
Wield your character like an art of pure mastery,
Your sincerity will be a lighthouse in the darkness,
And may you wander far from the sneaky chains of deductions.
Rather, go and sculpt your language from mute gestures,
Mysterious, as the eyes speak what words cannot,
And let your steps be guided by robust melodies,
That feed my hungry eyes with beauty and shape.
Now follow the steps that promise ungrasped bonds,
And don't forget the light that must end the enshrouded spectacle,
So that in the end, my soul may be enmeshed in your nets,
And you enclose it in a labyrinth of love, to gift it immortality and the eternal.
