Due to be a Good One

I sat next the guy who sat to that"ole Gal"
that night that they talked it over.
Over and Over again
they talked about it.
I heard words of love
and endearing concerns.
They talked about everything
from frustations to ferns
they spoke of the need to understand
and a bneed to know more
one things for sure
they talked it out.
See what is worth mentioning
in all this constant tentioning
were it needed explaination
it turned up straightened
they talked it over
they talked it over
so that all could understand
hold on Mister
the lady has a point
stand up for
yourself
get out in front
don't hide behind your woman
her needs have been addressed
you got the first part
now lt's finsh this rest
the contract is negocated
so to all concerned
we have one signuture
it's the other parties turn
there it
we should all stand and appluad
thank you all for your
pateince
now lets thank the LOrd!

TOUGH TIMES

When things start getting tough
Everything start getting rough
Many will say, you're lazy
Some will say, you ain't working hard
Like it's by power or myth
Only few will understand, due to their awareness.

When the night starts coming
The sun start going
Time always make the difference.
When everything starts crumbling
You start stumbling and fading
Everything becomes very crazy and heavy
People start neglecting or ignoring you.

Sometimes we get tired in life
But we somehow find a way to survive
People who've experienced tough times
Knows, it doesn't last eternal but a moment
So; they support without seizing
No matter the season
They never leave you, even if there's a reason.

Due

It's due...
So what am I going to do?

The funds have gotten low
And the flow has been slow
And I just don't know...

But I got to keep the lights on
I got to keep the water running
Nothing in the fridge or the cupboards, c'mon
Lord, please keep me from jumping

This darn phone keeps ringing
But no good news its bringing

It's due...
And I just don't know what to do.

Premium Member In Due Time

My darling, why did you go
You won’t tell me under the moon
You won’t tell in the morning glow
And in the dim afternoon
Why must we deal with the time
Why can’t it leave us alone
I want us to live, but we die
There was a time, but its gone
Our space is reduced to an archive
Your garden is touched with decay
What do I know except still I’m alive
And you can’t be here today
So into dust we return
This perpetual law of the dust
Beckons our flesh to be burned
To feed the insatiable past
Memory serves but it fails
Time takes it back from a man
The wind fell asleep in my sails
I want to see you again
Silence is one stern reply
There'll be one more in due time
You know the answer, either do I
Together again we'll entwine.

Premium Member GIVING POETIC PRAISES DUE

Your energized words
nourish and heal my spirit
with uplifting joy...
Your wisdom's cistern
fills the dry cup of my soul
with inspiring hope...
Your enlightenment
dispels dark negativeness
airing hopefulness...
My saucer of mind
is filled with sips for others
likewise seeking light...
May your vibing waves
continue frothing my mind's
shores with peace and love:-

Premium Member Due to Mortals

Green, gold, gray, old, from thence they pass away.
And from the dawn, the night is cast,
What's due to mortals falls at last.

The Damage of the Soul Due to Drugs

The face that used to be cheerful is gone
The illusion dims all real hopes
Break thousands of hopes and ideals
The loss of life at a young age
For those who are trapped by drugs

Don't and don't try it
If you don't want to live in misery
Drugs are very dangerous
Sin, and destroy all souls and bodies
End up in prison bars

Let's prepare our mental strength
For the sake of welcoming a cheerful future
Live happily, healthily and peacefully
In the future it will be useful
Later happy until old age

CAESARS DUE

The chord wrapped around his neck
As he was unwilling to pay the penalty of the law
Why should he bow his knee to derelicts
When he had preached against the sin of the fall

She came in looking all cute and coy
She's a girl, I'm a boy...a very little boy
We'll play a game in secret and feel connected
I'll tell her life will be destroyed if "IT" is unprotected

What a wonderful WORD to deliver to the hopeless
Spiritual leadership has the highest protection
When the flesh ROARS at little girls and boys
They cover "the fall" from open detection

Denial is a weapon against ignorant liars
Rushing around, stirring up blazing fires
The institution must survive all attacks
Lest our deceptive nation show what it lacks

......TRUTH.....

For those who are called to walk in LOVE
Caesar's due must be paid, first
Drunkards, Harlots, Murderers and Thieves
In prison, while predators give drink to those who thirst

But the one who bore all the guilt and shame
Hung on a Cross, innocent, without blame
Humility will come, unbidden, without recourse
The heart will submit or harden without remorse

....in the balance....

Premium Member No Payment Due

Through what alleged transgression stand I now accused?

Is there guilt to be found in a drowning man who by exchanging all he has ever held gains the salvation of but one more breath? If guilt doth indeed exist in such act I stand willingly before those who proclaim themselves worthy of judging me under such charge.

Though I be accused and brought before the arrogant I openly proclaim the righteousness of my soul far greater weighted than their simple understandings as all scales of justice lean in favor of no payment due !

With all due disrespect

I stand unapologetically me;
Unafraid to be different, unafraid to be bold,
I stand for the truth for it is gold
I raise my voice; let it be heard
With all due disrespect!

I rise above the fray, unbowed and without dismay,
My spirit unchained and free to soar
Unbound by the mocking, the scorn, the token
I rise with all due disrespect!

In a world that seeks conformity,
I refuse to blend into the crowd,
I proudly stand in my authenticity,
With all due disrespect, I speak loud.

My thoughts unfiltered, my actions unchained,
I dance to the rhythm of my own beat,
With all due disrespect, I embrace my reign,
Defying expectations, I won't retreat.

For I am a force to be reckoned with,
A rebel with a cause, a warrior in flight,
With all due disrespect, I boldly exist,
In the darkness, I am my own guiding light.

So let the critics scoff and the naysayers jeer,
I will not be swayed by their doubts or their fear,
With all due disrespect, I stand tall and clear,
Embracing my truth, unapologetically sincere.

Premium Member give them their due

Some women ask for jewelry, roses or such
I ask for books and solitude, not so very much.
Give them their riches, give them their fame.
But give me an hourglass, willed to my name.

A place where I can sit, be alone and read all day.
While others wear finery, and prance in a weird way.
Give me some novels, a hymnal, a poetry book or two.
I want solitude, snacks and books. You do what you do.

Premium Member A Little Credit Due

What we own ... or what we owe,
Is more than numbers on a balance sheet.
Yet we're often reduced to a figure,
That claims existence before we meet.

So we hustle to settle the score,
    Throughout a lifelong FICO maze.
As if we're a rodent chasing cheese,
Inside a laboratory for untold days.

Within the palace walls of high-finance,
Sit bespectacled guru's towards our fate.
Crunching numbers next to our dreams,
    While reaching limits, forever late.

This reality forms an economic backbone,
Allowing for judgement and eternal debt.
While we struggle & reach for something better,
A gratuitous path might extend some extra credit.

Final Due Date

A moment of truth
a century of lies
The left hand deflects
what the right hand decries

A little bit pregnant
the ending begins
A monster gestating
—and living within

Premium Member Due Consideration

After due consideration,
  Lounging in repose.
  I can't imagine leaving out,
A special step to dream about!
  Would friends with benefits,
  Agree to travel about?
Find bits of nature to explore,
  Even on the ocean floor?
Attend a concert or show to see,
What will lift their friendly eyes to me.
Have a meal of something new.
Thats for me! How about you?
Swim down a river late at night.
Find a waterfall and dive right in.
Sit quietly and watch the moon rise,
While I watch the reflection in your eyes.
Talk a bit or read a book.
It's only the moon or a look.
And I'd like to be gone soon,
  Into my head,
  To create and dream,
Of romance, if that's not to extreme!
  Flowers in the house!
  Dancing close!
  Maybe chocolate on toast!
Friends with benefits you must agree,
  Could be complex,
  Especially for me!
If all of this is true to form,
I'll have to keep many friends with benefits,
  To tag along!
  Sometimes I am fine without,
  Friends with benefits hanging about!
