Rub-a-dub-dub ~
Mommy and her little one, splashing in the tub,
playing with Mr. Beluga, the whale,
and grabbing Wally the walrus by the tail,
and riding two seahorsies:
one named Gitty, the other one Yup.

I Dub Thee

Being self-titled
aristocrat pure
Heraldry solemn
 liege a du jour

Knighted in fealty
 loyalty’s throne
Crusading triumphant
—honor atoned

Premium Member Refurbished Nursery Rhymes: Rub-A-Dub-Dub

What nursery rhyme's gayer, I'm asking you, bub,
Than the one that has three grown men sharing a tub?
Was it their sexual orientation,
Or merely water conservation,
And they were all charter members of the Sierra Club?

Wuba Luba Dub Dub

Horrified at the harassment dpartment.
An alligator visited his apartment.
Alligator wanted to eat some flesh.
Morally and socially we are at stake.
You know Girlz date & black gate.
Crocodiles & alligators & guidelines.

No Roof For Reindeer Dub Bull File

parents or other nemesis with glare
ring (smoke emitting nostrils),
an idyll escape for this heir
to the throne of the mountain king,

     (lion share of original tract
     kept by Donald Neilson empire)
this make believe verdant submerged lair
unwittingly left gaping hole,

     when Gambone Brothers
     industrial machinery voraciously
     made clean sweep,
without a trace of former imp pier
     real resilient stately structured heart
of "Glen Elm" could no longer rear

the well built “grand Etta face dame”
     helplessly, holistically humbly
     brought to her knees
     (gory detail aye will spare),
nonetheless more
than one pearl jammed shaped tear

trickled down chafed
     sad reddened cheeks,
     whose head must veer
away asper thine subsequently
blotted out never never never land

     eclipsed by transient rubble,
thence vinyl city (dis) graced sacred space,
no doubt a great ache,
     when Saint Nick sought
     sought in vain for
     324 Templed throne every where!

Rub a Dub Dub

JEANIEMAC
Rub a dub dub two in a tub.
Where did the soap go?
He lay back flat
Right on his back.
While she fiddled about below.

TIM SMITH
Rub a dub dub I fell in the tub.
I swear to you Lassie it's not always a stub.
The water is cold.
I'm getting old.
Come a little closer and give it a rub.

LIM'RIK FLATS
Jeanie and Timmy alone in the tub.
Sounds like a poem which might need a scrub.
I cannot say s*x.
Not sure about pecs.
H**l, the censors might just overdub.

ARTHUR VASO
Rub a dub dub, there's three in a tub.
Sure hope one doesn't give it a rub.
The lassie is fine.
She has two to shine.

EVE ROPER
Rub a dub dub four in a swingers tub.
Girls raised their glass, boys the stilettos subs.
Full of champagne and olives.
Pond koi had other motives.
Oh la la,, that's not the knob it's my club!

Rub-A-Dub Dub

Rub-a-dub-dub
Three men in a tub
What were they doing there?
A grout guy, a plumber
Not sure who was dumber
The third guy to open the beer!

I am alive
and ready to take on the day
and whatever
may come my way

the time between the beats
changes
with my pace
and the expression on my face

the time of day
is divided
into twenty four hours
with many beats

how many beats
does it take to make the bed
or take a train to work
how many beats
does it take to count the beats
I must count the beats some time
before it's too late

lub-dub lub-dub

the heart is a variable metronome
that does not measure time or keep time
it can only keep the beat going
and measure love

time
does nothing
love
does it all

Tribute To Dub Poet, Michael Smith

He too could be Orpheus
But on Lesbus would find no place
For two in likeness excites no grace
And he scorn Dionysius
For the madness of his wine, since we
Provoke more profound mirth than glee
Where music wakes the soul
And love turns all dross to gold
Ye poets then remember him
Michael Smith, who dubbed the hymn
And was stoned by mad men
And world stood silent before his pen.

Rub-A-Dub Dub, 3 Continents In a Tub

I see North Africa
Through a little girl’s eyes
Continental ignorance
Stagnant in their reflection
Oppression
Like sinuous flames
In the heat of their arid deserts

I see America
With its once prolific economy
One man
It tumbled all
Two elections – “it’s all your fault!”
Teetering precariously, waiting…
For Obama to hold it together

I see Europe
Where art thou now?
Hiding like politicians – fools they are
Come out, come out
Where ever you are
Bush needs his poodles
Ha Ha Ha!

You’re all in this together
Manipulating each other
Pretending to need the UN more than the other
Who’s ruling the UN Bush or its general secretary
Britain cannot criticize, they ruled the League of Nations
You’ll never step up to the plate
And be manly enough
To take the blame for the world’s disastrous fate.
