Premium Memberstained glass sky

this stained-glass sky was created by a master painter
dominated by azures, purples, lavenders, fuchsia, plums
toward the bottom of the sky was a bit of dull yellow
a sliver of green also reflected in the pond
tall skinny black shrub trees surrounded this magnificence
I began designing my stained-glass cathedral window
knowing I could never do this scene the justice it deserved

Lilith Of The Bible

Written By: D. Collins 12/25/24

Adam's equivalent came a long time before Eve.
Born not from a rib, but from dirt and seed.
God gave her the right to be the first one.
To expose her religion and what it's done.

They wrote her out of the Bible way, back when.
Filling in the truth, dominated by men.
She reminds me of Granny, upfront and outright.
Where nothing's going down without a serious fight.

Through Popes and Pimps, Lilith no longer exists.
But she's the kind of woman I'd teach my kids.
She wouldn't bow down to any threat from man.
Read the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament.

The Liberation

Prisoners were captured, their liberty were stolen
Hopes were dangling, asking help to heaven
Dreams were their silent sanctuaries
The only one that keeps their sanities

Eyes were blindfolded, hands were handcuffed
Lies and deceptions, all of them were bluffed
It felt like an abyssal tunnel they fell in
Everywhere you looked, it was just a dark scene

Free to struggle with strengths just like candles
This world is dominated by heartless scoundrels
Evil is everywhere, someone pulls his triggers
Weak are those we hear the sound of whimpers

When will this dark age come to conclusion?
When is the fulfillment of promised redemption?
All these words are just words, vague and empty
All seen are letters and numbers printed blankly

What is the context, who gives the meaning?
Our minds can't compete to what He's thinking
Send a messenger, one who will tell us your will
A refreshing message that will makes us stands still

This is the key to these chains we're strapped into
In darkness we're into, the light that pierce through
We see the glimpse of the future, thanks to you
We feel free and loved, not caged as we used to

Premium MemberPrecise point

I dig at the root of solar stars
To find my lost soul
Through the galaxy of past worlds
I misplaced it in a faint regret.

I’m dominated by a bath of light
Surrounding an angry black,
It's a new planet for me,
A conglomerate of tears and sins.

A wave of feelings presses on me
Like the greatest longing,
Among planets and a thousand comets
I am suspended and unable to die.

I timidly enter the new galaxy
A hurried rookie in the Universe,
I am a precise point in the drifting black,
A false noise of a mortal.

Absence of Peace

Peace, your absence is annoyance.
Annoyance in our hearts and on the land,
On the land, we want to discover you.
You hide yourself in your whereabouts,
Whereabouts preserving your existence.

Peace, your nonappearance is frustrating.
Frustrating, as we ignore where you have gone,
Gone forever out of the land, out of our hearts.
Our hearts madly desire to meet you,
You are needed desperately, peace!

Peace, you are missing in our minds.
Minds dominated by wars and hatred,
Hatred widowing mothers.
Mothers crying for their orphaned children,
Children regretting the killing of biodiversity.

Peace unfound on the land, for gone forever!
Forever, back you’ll relocate among us,
Among us we'll welcome you.
Welcome you as needed for your absence,
Absence causing profound disarray.

Disarray in hearts and on the land. Peace, we need you!
You make us speed to find you, peace!

Premium MemberSuperhero Vs Supervillain

A fictional facility created in mother’s memory
by Amadeus Arkham in an island off Gotham city coast,
Arkham Hospital is a unique asylum
for the criminally insane supervillains.

The asylum has a long and vicious history,
a part of which is dominated by Batman,
the comic book superhero at the top of physical ability,
having an agile expertise in various forms of martial arts.

He faces several mentally sick desperado inmates,
like enraged Bane and serial killer Victor, and finds
way out of hallucinating nightmares created by Scarecrow,
counteracts the nefarious designs of the formidable foes.

A fictitious leading institution for psychiatric research,
the asylum has special cells like the extreme isolation,
that accommodates a wide variety of insane evil patients,
whose wicked plots are dexterously wrecked by Batman.

Premium MemberThe Fly And The Bee

A male fly is munching on a big, sweet bread when a bee arrives...

The fly was scared of the bee's size and so he immediately left the bread on the ground.

The bee laughed so loud because the fly left the bread. The bee followed the fly and asked, "Why did you leave your bread?"

The fly quivered, " You can have all the bread if you want to... just don't hurt me!"

The bee explained, "I am a drone. I don't have a sting and I will not hurt you."

"Really??!!!" the fly exhaled.

"I only want some bread of yours that's why I followed you, and asking you now if you can share your bread with me?"

The fly and the bee flew back and shared the bread together.

"Why are you here?" asked the fly.

"It's winter and all male bees are kicked out. The hive where I used to stay in is dominated by female bees."

The bee asked the fly, "Where do you live?"

"I live anywhere... everywhere." the fly replied.

"Wow, we're both homeless!" blurted the bee.

"No, we are not. Being homeless is only in the state of mind. Being home is being with your true self."

Healing

So shaking and wan we are
In frighten peace to pant
We breathe short-wind broil
Our nature have been polluted
Our food have been poisoned
Our blood have been daub to erect our soul
Aah! Gentiles have over taken our land
Tread on our blossom appetite
The hostiles bruise our flowers with harm hooves
Heal! Our land
Our nature have been dominated by lavas
Shedding red like meteors of trouble heaven
Sending many to a room of a person
Our acting the genesis of the hazards
Those arms moulded in naturefrom mother's womb
To chase these pagans from our holy land
From our ancestors of centuries castles
Heal! Our land
The boot is on the other foots
Who will lead us to get the bum's rush?
They are coupling in secrete
Who will stop the butchery display?
The beasts are shattering our efforts
They are breaking our lives for their taste
Uneven and unwelcome news from the sphere of the nation
All theme of our arts is hopeless
We share red and sad our daily
Heal! Our land
A blot on our landscape are increasing

Second Indian Wedding

Colors of life, fertility, sanctity fly
Aromas include sweetmeats, coconut, fire
There's flowers galore, honey, spices
Not for meals only, but especially decoration
Focus now on the bride: Vermillion path
From the Center of her head, to her top height
A sign of vows of fidelity in blood (SINDOOR)
As with red dot: bindi, RED FOR MARRIAGE
Other colors are for youth and single women
The man arrives on horseback (donkey often)
Turbaned as of old, shiny suit, India style
The usual makeup dominated by mascara KAJAR
I may dream my Christian wife would like this, too

Poor Angry Creature

the angry creature,
always dominated by emotion
reacts badly to everything that unmasks
his ego....
At that moment mediocrely
on the spur of the moment, holds the weapon
and shoots...
kills the rationality
and loses all reason....!

Premium MemberOh Them Robins

The robins hung their nest up high with such anticipation,
for a world dominated by little birds was their determination.
But when the hawk came calling, knocking on their door
they squawked like the raven...saying only nevermore.

Success, Is My Destination

In the middle of the desert,
The land dominated by little water and few plants;
The land ruled by proficiency and inadequacy.
Does not disincentives me, but incentives me,
To be more driven to my dreams till they come to pass -
And my avidity for success and deluxe life,
Brings a smile to my face, because in the end I will enjoy desserts.

During the journey of destitute,
The journey where everything is in dearth;
Does not deterrent me, but motivates me,
To be single-minded and passionate to my dreams.
And to develop my keenness for outstanding success,
That will make scarcity the story of the past -
And makes me to live in glorious for the rest of my life.

Premium MemberA Spirit of Fear

A Spirit Of Fear
By: Miracle Man
October 6, 2020

Fear stifles thoughts and affects each action,
it creates doubt and will our confidence erode.
With negative moods our lives then lose traction,
and we likely become prisoners in our own abode.

When dominated by fear we lose sight of our goal,
and fear becomes a roadblock for God’s life plan.
We can be concerned without giving fear control,
fear also has the ability to shorten our lifespan.

Fear causes life to center on pessimism and gloom,
so spend time each day in prayer, then reflect.
Things are seldom as bad as we might presume,
*and the spirit of fear, God wants us to reject.

No matter what our fear God never rejects us,
So let fear in your life become superfluous.

* 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Premium MemberTyranny of Temper

It was the first time in years the four of them had been all together.
“Hey, do ya’ll know the riddle of the sphinx?” “This should be our family version.”
“What pouts in the morning, laughs at noon, and cries in the evening?”
“That’s an easy one, our mother.” “Or how about this one, what praises you in
the morning, berates you in the afternoon, and beats the living hell out of you
in the evening?” “That’s right our father.”
“Let it go ya’ll, they’re both dead.”
“I disagree, they live on in us.” “We’ve all been tainted by their ways.”
“Hell let’s look at the score.” ”We have two failed marriages and me too afraid to try.” “Three rehab trips and if we’re honest more needed.” “One child in the
Juvenile system and two others are strung out addicts.”
“What a crock of !!” shouts the oldest.
In unison the other three, “Okay dad.”
They stand together in sort of a group hug and pass around a knowing glance
Each of them aware of the battle to overcome being raised
In a home dominated by the tyranny of temper
And decorated with the malevolence of mood.
