     testimony that disrupts
       proceedings it interrupts
in a courtroom liable to erupt…

       from a recess abrupt
       order is anon plucked

 Piano treads secret doors,
unlike stubborn antique drawals,
once we open which was closed,
disrupts dust & cobwebs composed.
I don't need a harpoon sinking in
when my heart and liver's a rage
of alcohol and feel good haze
better than a chill with blankets,
Another day of no motivation.
Lost in a time I had sleeping in
and would never leave for 3 days,
the guilt of a burden of sins
not just my own but inflicted rage
My dreams were lesser than nightmares
so I got lost in all the adventures
like the hopping of a delightful hare.....

Premium Member Mystic Phantom

Amidst the ebon of my lonely room
I feel a covert brush across my face.
The phantom from my dreams disrupts the gloom,
which terminates despair's profound embrace.

Her mystic coffee eyes entrance my soul
as freedom's blanket warms my frigid heart.
This charmer's stitch has sealed seclusion's hole,
now dammed, the flow of somber tears will part.

My trusting fingers grasp her guiding hand
as flames of adoration burn within.
I bow before her sensual command
and let the blaze of passion's fire begin.

We sail the sea of fascination's kiss
and bathe in waves of rapture's soft caress,
then anchored at the dock of Eden's bliss,
we mingle on the beach at love's address.

My spirit's flooded by enchantment's rain,
which resurrects a buried peace inside.
Beneath the midnight moon she's freed all pain.
Upon her magic ship my dreams now ride.

Breathless Beneath Blue Silence

There,
if your spacesuit tears,
death awaits.
“Armstrong, when he arrived on the moon,
must have felt the same,
though this is only
a hundred meters.
Still,
I felt a kind of
nirvana,”
said Jacques Mayol.
There,
if your breath falters,
death awaits.
Though he returned
from the deep many times,
in the end,
he chose his final dive.
He chose a place
from which
there is no return.
Nirvana—
a state of release
from suffering.
They say
a restless mind
disrupts the breath.
Even in the depths,
he kept
his mind still.
But in truth,
deep within,
there were waves
rippling all along.
When you dive deep,
not a single bubble,
not a single ripple
can rise.
Whether the world
a hundred meters down
is suffering
or peace—
I wouldn’t know.
Nor can I say
whether the world of death
is suffering,
or peace.

STRANGE LOVE

       Such an immense love
   disrupts my infinite thoughts
      can't know what to do

I’ve just arrived here

I cannot speak of life; I’ve just arrived here,
This matter I pondered for many a year.
When girls first wore trousers, I felt a dismay,
From a bright future, I turned and walked away.

Trousers didn’t sit well with the choices made,
Leading to shameful acts, foundations betrayed.
Do not defy the laws set by the Divine,
No matter how strong you believe you may shine.

The Creator crafted the world in its grace,
Making all things in balance, each finds its place.
With winter and summer, day following night,
He paired male with female, in harmony's light.

Beloved Allah shares all things equally,
Preferring the balance in life’s tapestry.
Only mankind disrupts this delicate thread,
Seeing some as greater, while others are led.

As the light peeks through

7am, sound asleep next to me you once laid.
Now I’m up all night, in this lonely bed I made

The same question racks my brain,..every time I see the sun
What made myself feel the need,..to go and jump the gun

People tend to believe things always happen for a reason
And I can’t help but to think that reason, was just selfish self-treason.

The thought of you, disrupts my breath.
Then quickly wanders to the day of our “death”.

I just wish there were things I could say or do.
To get that 7am back next to you,..as the light peeks through

WAITING

May I take your order without being ordered?

My food for thought to your thought for food.

I ask this question you too can answer when two provide to one another.

Let's bear with the other without being bare. We can make barley if we barely rethink.

Male or not, my income is your meal and we can avoid a lame outcome.

We may not be mates, but meats are possible without steam being there to begin.

Medium rare can be rare medium when a big silence disrupts small talk.

It's no mistake a steak can be missed when we staple over what's on our plates.

Desserts are there and not to be stressed when spoken forwards rather than backwards.

Consider considerate without eating into drinking tea over something we ate.

With our mite, time is there and peaks are avoided when we speak.

They're going to war with themselves by trying
to attack you
this is how you know they aren't bright so pray for
light in dark fools
weapons formed will come against but will hit many
brick walls
a blank face will hide smiles under the surface as they
take swift falls
these magic tricks are just that so ring the alarm on
close calls
attacks just boomerang right back like reply's to
missed calls
why in the hell are these flaws so easy to see in real
time?
let them do as they please for their karma requests pay in
due time
i'm neither for nor against the back & forth but can i just
live & do me?
i guess shinning light disrupts demons in dark places
that hate what you see
turn the other cheek if the price is right but i turn
wheels like Bill C.
i just wrote this to bark back real quick & play bob to your
weave

Premium Member POETIC CREDO guidelines A TENSON TALK poem

CREDO-POETRY IS AN ORAL ART AT ITS BEST WHEN RECITED
                   it then becomes a two-way unique one-off.experience .
TRADITIONAL LINE CAPITALISATION RHYME ..in tetrameter (ABBA).YES..
but NOT otherwise as it creates a natural pause (ie it stilts) & thus disrupts the flow
WRAP AROUND LINES are a no-no
they are not visually conducive to read digitally or otherwise!
POETIC NO NO s -acrostic,kyrielle terzanelle villanelle ,pantoum & the 'syllablics'
they can be good for a learning exercise,a bit like scales are important when learning the piano but are too contrived & mechanical IMHO for our art form
PROSE POETRY ok if visually shaped in open form style*
FORMS THAT ALWAYS RING MY BELL shape, emagi & ekphrasis ,imagist Rhyme, alliteration, clerihew, footle&hiku*(both in the singular especially)

*OPEN VERSE uses spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols relies upon 'the one breath limitation' this intuitive cadence pemits the 'reader' (reciter) to respond in an interpretative - interplay unique to the ' happening

Premium Member Anxiety

Trapped inside all of us is anxiety that needs to be let out
When it rears its ugly head and disrupts are thoughts it leaves no doubt
We must replace these uneasy feelings with meditation leading the way
Stand up to this demon and try not to listen to what it has to say
People who are overwhelmed by this are not weak but very brave
Trying to defeat this is a lot of work as you become its slave
Ignoring it will not cause it to pack up its bags and move away
Talk with medical experts, positive help they can convey
You are certainly not alone in your fight to have peace of mind
Most of all do not give up on yourself you deserve to have the best life has to offer
Believe you can defeat this and in the end, it will make you stronger
Anxiety is lurking in the corner ready to strike anyone at any time
Never give up on yourself you have the power within to send anxiety to the back of the line

Morning Thoughts On Change
Sept 6, 2023
Miracle Man

Many times I see change and deem it unjust,
some change has altered both truth and trust.

Because a person’s life is swallowed up by change,
many make concessions and life rearrange.

This change disrupts our lives bit by bit,
so we re-adjust our thinking trying to commit.

Inconcussible things have now become the norm,
too many are willing and too quick to conform.

I’m sadden to see the way some now live,
without natural affection or love to give.

I say this now with tongue in cheek and grin,
legalizing things make them no less a sin..

the same shall be saved.”

Premium Member Jubilant

yellow finch
perches on the blue bell
precarious existence
a loopy optimism
on a long flower stem, bending
a high wire act
a finely poised stature
picture perfect
infused with summer's tangled bounty

yellow finch
a jubilant preening
in July sun elevating distraction
till my movement disrupts the pleasure of seclusion
its brisk flight away
a furtive companionship
jaunty
unexpected
jubilant in its simplicity
