Burly Brawn gets up at the crack of dawn

Cracks his knuckles, morning dew on the lawn

Black hair curly, so surly was Burly

Beware of which side of the street you're on

Willow and Dew

I miss your soul sitting behind my bench,
I miss your legs accidentally brushing against my anklets.
I didn't know if I was ever made to be with you,
But then God would have lost, what a pity He would have felt through.

Your voice and face are like the morning dew,
They are like a fading memory I thought I would cling on to.
You never really gave any sense to my existence,
But what a fool am i , I see you as my entire existence,

I hope one day I will probably remove every part of you from my memories,
But what will be the value of others when they will burn with my mortal body.
I thought you would be mine for once in my lifetime,
But then I realised, was I just a willow tree that you saw while you were enjoying your life?

From autumn leaf to butterfly

________________________

Here are some haikus that reflect the life-giving Zen philosophy.
.An autumn leaf here gets transformed to butterfly (life to the grounded),
.A pebble in river begins to sing spontaneously (voice to the silent),
.A dewdrop inspired by the sun imparts some light to twilight (tiny when turns enormous).

If dead autumn leaf
Were to breathe a sudden life,
What a butterfly!

A stone in river
When unlocks long-muted heart,
Sings a fluent song.

A drop of dawn’s dew
Inspired by the rising sun,
Adds light to twilight.

You may find it’s all been said
What you mean to say
But it sounds not too bad
In your own sweet way
You may look out with no aim
Scanning the familiar view
But it isn’t quite the same
For today the morning dew
Burns the leaf it occupies
With the dazzling sun
Welcome to the silent cries
As if you are young
But not near that comprehensive
As the youngsters are
Maybe little over-pensive
With your mind too far
From the problems of today
Too close to the past
Saying what you have to say
Once again too fast..

THE DEW

I am beauteous to the eyes- I am thus a
                                                        flower
Gifted by God! I repeat my genuine beauty
Significant the planted seed - outcome of
                                                                  wit
Theory of repetition, in tact - the creation
                                                     Absolutely
My petals bitter on the tongue of morning
                                                                   dew
Drops in condensation - bittersweet
                                                     nurturing
I have preservation of life - Indeed a
                                      reckon of prominent
That dew swarms in my morning blues
                                         precious air
Thus I the flower breathe and the dew
                                           drop then went.

Morning Dew

Open those eyes and stare at the ceiling,
As everything in me rains upon you like a feeling,
Let your cheeks feel kissed and your hands feel held,
And that familiar taste on your tongue is actually my smell,
A lot of me descending on the lot of you, purpling your sheets, my red on your blue.
Tugging on those lips, nose in your hair,
Inhalation raggedy, this desire is much to bear,
may your sighs match your eyes as you squint to see,
If this beast that is ravaging you is actually...ME.
It is.

morning dew greets me
as teardrops kiss my cheek
walking onto deck

from heaven god's tears
pour down on the living
wiping sins away

MY SPACE

Garden -
My den

Pristine,
And clean.

Bees, wasps
Sun drops.

Birds dart,
My heart

Does sing,
Mood swing

Green grace,
My space !

cascade of pearled dew --

        slithering on frail petals

   becomes winter tears

~

               fresh ash in urn

  strewn across gusty winds --

                             autumn burial

dew trickles, rinsing dusty leaves
cleansing the dark despair who grieves
exchanging daydreams for nickels
rinsing dusty leaves, dew trickles

rushing thoughts, over mountain streams
for nickels, exchanging daydreams
oh, the tears, so tied up in knots
over mountain streams, rushing thoughts

blazing sunlight, erasing fears
so tied up in knots, oh, the tears
cherish the still of dawn so bright
erasing fears, blazing sunlight

gentling praise, love to which I’m drawn
so bright, cherish the still of dawn
weeping words beneath sun’s soft gaze
love to which I’m drawn, gentling praise

Mourning Dew

As we live daily, in this world you see,
somethings are not, as they appear to be.
Some people have masks, they wear very well,
the evil in their tongues, in their lives, you can tell.
The words they speak, from the company they keep,
kills the hearts of those, who’s counted as Gods sheep.
With their words as weapons, their tongues made of steel,
roaming about, but to steal, to destroy and kill.
To put out the light, that shines in the world you see,
all the goodness thats inside, of you and me.
To wear us down, in the webs that they weave,
in our heart, the stings it truly leaves.
The stings of death, while we yet live,
till from the heart, love is hard to give.
To intertwine the good, and evil’s, again you see,
how it truly kills the light, in you and me.
The light is the Truth, that guides our path,
it keeps us from being, a creature of wrath.
To be different, a creature of Gods beauty, we are to remain,
as from the ways of our own darkness, we refrain.
For the masks, are many, and true people are few,
and when the time of our darkness is over, the sun drinks up, it’s mourning dew.

dew-like dreams descend,
drifting through daylight,
drawing distant depths
down into doing~
delicate, deliberate,
divine.

Some things we do to avoid the fuss,
Or we do them because we must.

Our "Yeses' don't always make sense,
But saying 'No' is harder to convince.

Most times we find ways to compromise.
Either way is never going to be paradise.

The smartest apple may not be on the tree.
It may be in the kitchen tasting sweet and free.

Or it could be that it has fallen from the tree
And just beside your feet, it rests in the dew.

May you live long, genuine, happy, and true.
May you be as faithful as the morning dew.
