Don'T Let Em

LASCIVIOUS, MORE SAY
YE AH SAY YE
TIL THEN MIGHT I AH
BUT I
SO I
THEY SPEAK TO ME
WONDER BEAUTIFUL
SAY IT'S MARVELOUS
GRANDER THAN GRAND
SAY IT'S LOVELY
LAVISH AND LUSCIOUS
QUITE APPEALING AND PERFECT
SAY IT TO COMPLIMENT
SAY YE
SAY YE
A VERY SPECAIL PART
SUNG TO BE HEARD
SWEEP ME OFF
MY FEET
WITH EVERY WORD
I HAVE NEVER
BEEN SO MUCH IN LOVE
QUITE SIMPLE
WE ARE LOVERS
WE SPEAK LOVE
IN EVERY WORD
LOOK TO THE SKY
WE THEY
TALK OF YESTERDAY
LOOK TO THE THE YONDER
WHEN THEY TRY TO
SPEAK ME AWAY
I AM YESTERDAY
I AM TOMORROW
LOOK TO THE SKY
AND SMILE
WITH KNOW SORROW
WE RELATE TO ONE ANOTHER
YOU ARE MY LADY
WE DON'T NEED TO
FUSS OVER FRIVOLOUSITY
OR GAMBLE ON THE MAYBE'S
WE ARE LOVERS
IN PERFECT COMPLIMENT
DON'T LET THEM DIVIDE US
DON'T LET THEM COME CLOSE
TO HAVING US UNRAVELED

WHEN THEY SAY SOMETHING ILL OF ME
JUST WALK AWAY
IF THEY SAY SOMETHING TO HAVE US SEPERATED
JUST UP AND WALK AWAY
WHEN THEY INTRODUCE YOU TO STRANGERS
SAY YOU HAVE A MAN
EVEN WITH OUR DIFFICULTIES
LET ME BE YOUR MAN
PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW INTIMATE THINGS
DON'T LET THEM FIND IT
MIGHT THEY SEARCH
THEY SHALL BE EMPTY HANDED
THEY WISH TO MAKE US STRANGE
IN OUR OWN TOGETHERNESS
WHEN IT COMES TO STRANGER
TREAT THEM LIKE THIS
THAT'S RIGHT
THAT REAL
THEY ARE WRONG
SPEAK ME AS LOVER
SING IT IN EVERY SONG
THANK GOD FOR ME
I THANK GOD FOR YOU
THOSE SATANS THEY JUST
WANT TO
DIVIDE US BABY
YOU MY LADY
I'M YOUR MAN

Premium Member Happiness On Dew

Happiness on dew in disguise
Tries to stick on drooping grass close
Waits for the golden sun to rise
On the heart's horizon morose.

The colors of ecstasy grow
Happiness on dew in disguise
The depressed mind would surely know
When sparkling touch it applies.

Grass won’t know what sorrows comprise
If joy from dew doesn’t alight
Happiness on dew in disguise
Soaks the sun, glows in inner light.

Let the mind retain the shine bright
From darkest gloom it would devise
Joy of living that would ignite
Happiness on dew in disguise.

In the depravity of the neglected wasteland
obscure tufts of subdued slender grass
struggle to rise through the cleavage of stony destiny,
the frail faces shaping the artifacts of cruel fate,
flicker with the fading smile of residual innocence,
borrowed from the remains of the sun,
already sunk in the depth of yonder horizon dark.

In the harsh squall of servitude,
uprooted, they stray to nowhere, uncared and soiled.
Under the blue freedom of the open sky
dew drops no longer bejewel the juvenile grass,
tarnished by the dirt of our spiteful times,
the dreams of their dew dry premature.

In the twilight hours walking the last few miles,
I wish to give the last rays of my twilight sun
to the relics of dewdrops so they can glow awhile.
I wish to drip the last drop of empathy from my oasis,
so their innocent smile doesn’t desiccate in desert.
I wish to show the children of a lesser God
the dreams of dew that would never die.

Premium Member Dew Drops Drip

The dew drop drips from the daffodil’s glory,
Creating a rainbow with a beautiful arc.
And the bubbling bonnie birds bathe in the tender,
Morning puddles, all over the park.

And the air holds a crisp, wintery path,
Leading up to the castle’s love lost,
Lost from the pages kept in her mind,
Those pages now covered in frost.

Where old castle walls, battered and bruised,
Stand high, eternal, stand strong,
Strong like the new love that rises over the field,
Where dawn’s daffodils dance to a song.

I live with the beauty of love that is lost,
And with love that’s a fresh fragrant free.
I live with the love that’s grown onto my soul,
And made the man that I now know as me.

Mourning Dew

As we live daily, in this world you see,
somethings are not, as they appear to be.
Some people have masks, they wear very well,
the evil in their tongues, in their lives, you can tell.
The words they speak, from the company they keep,
kills the hearts of those, who’s counted as Gods sheep.
With their words as weapons, their tongues made of steel,
roaming about, but to steal, to destroy and kill.
To put out the light, that shines in the world you see,
all the goodness thats inside, of you and me.
To wear us down, in the webs that they weave,
in our heart, the stings it truly leaves.
The stings of death, while we yet live,
till from the heart, love is hard to give.
To intertwine the good, and evil’s, again you see,
how it truly kills the light, in you and me.
The light is the Truth, that guides our path,
it keeps us from being, a creature of wrath.
To be different, a creature of Gods beauty, we are to remain,
as from the ways of our own darkness, we refrain.
For the masks, are many, and true people are few,
and when the time of our darkness is over, the sun drinks up, it’s mourning dew.

Premium Member Mountain Dew

You do not want to hear me cry
I’m hungry
Must I hide from YOU all that is painful
	In your palace?
Mother works a bit, weeding and at the market Sundays.
Daddy is here and
	Not here
I’m hungry
	[ I chew my lip.
My tongue makes a wet circle from chapped corner to chapped corner.]
Daddies home no one hired him today, no one hired him yesterday.
Beer bottles stack up in his truck.
Sometimes he brings me and the baby Mountain Dew!
It’s cheaper than milk Ma says!
While Ma works in the neighbors garden weeding
I fill the babies bottle with orange soda, his tongue turns color
We laugh in the mirror.
I’m so hungry, but I know you don’t want to know that.
I see her, look baby she has a brown bag!
Red tomatoes, green and yellow squash roll across the old kitchen table.
Get the fry pan honey Ma smiles….
The corn oil sizzles on the black caste iron, as she tosses in the sliced
	Veggies…I lick my lips
The door of Dad’s truck opens..and he stumbles head down toward the backdoor.
Daddy smiles. “What’s for dinner.” he says.
He takes a raw squash and bites.
		“What NO meat?”
“God, I’m hungry”

In the dance of total flowers, sighs intertwine with bitter dew,
Their petals mourn their burden under the night's sky, like a secret weight.
I spoke words to those who see life as a meaningless game,
Those who pass through days without feeling the miracle hidden beneath the horizon's veil.
Through the crystal of the autumn drop, I saw you, my love, divided,
On one side and the other, between worlds that intertwine, infinite.
Some see paradise, others see hell, in reflections of light and shadow,
Imitated by the emperors of life, who lose themselves in somber roles.
In contentious applause, the slaves of life bow, humble spectators,
They, the actors of emotion, who forget the letters of fragile, subtle thoughts.
The cranial bird chirps a harmonious and desperate cry,
Like that of a snowdrop wanting to be freed from the harsh winter.
To revive from white snow, turning green for your lively spring,
When through you, my love, desire is reborn like poetry.
Before the wine of forgetfulness fills my mind with numbness,
I will offer you to those who make love a faith, a way of living.
From longings, I will weave your rosy desire to light up the world,
Offering you to all as a memory that refuses to be consumed.

Through thinned forests where the dew of time is carried, the ancient chant of desire roams,
And shadows of men, like spirits in festivity, stretch their endless palms of wanting.
Sleepwalkers amongst stars that never slumber, searching for treasures in lands of silver,
But their hearts are locked treasuries, clamoring tribute, never a sacred obol to proffer.
In the enchanted flight of their wings heavy with "self," no sky is too high,
Yet they forget that within the tiny seed of giving hides an entire infinity.
Show me, wind, the man who is a spinner of not just hope but also peace,
That Prometheus who offers his fire without demanding the price in flesh of immortality.
If his name is whispered to me, I will receive it as a sacred talisman,
I will overturn it upon my fate like a potion that turns patience into gold.
He should bring not just the kiss of passion, but also the gentle caress of an unsold heart,
That rare man, fertile with the elixir of self-forgetfulness, where each heartbeat is a gift.
I will impregnate my fate with his arcane name, and I will weave a jewel of ended longings,
He will be the mage with palms of light, stringing pearls of sincerity on the thread of life.
A dreamer with a soul aflame, with eyes of sky - opener of universes,
Under whose impression each "taking" becomes a star in the "giving" sky.
Oh, may we rediscover the lost alchemy in our deepest needs,
One that prefers coarse gold to find the philosopher's stone of true love.
With his spells woven of tenderness and generosity, he rebirths me, to remake my heart,
He, the moon man - always full, never absent, sanctifying my wish with the divine presence of endless giving.
