Love don't expire
No date, no age
No race, nothing.
Love knows no bounds
No religion
No status.
Love never done
If wrong, accept
But never lost.
Love hope success
It persevere
Never detract.

I have never been good at hiding
At least not from those who truly pay attention
I’ve never been good at hiding so instead, I became great at deflecting
I slip in words to distract and detract from the attention that is focused on me
And when that doesn’t work because so many people do actually care
I give just enough to satisfy
Because when I say many people care, they only care enough to hear the basics
Because going beyond that would take too much time and require too much energy
And everyone has their own things to talk about and deal with right?
However, watching people prove that I will always come last to nearly everything in life
And prove that I will never be as much a priority to them as they are to me gets exhausting
So instead, I’ve just started saying I’m fine
Im okay
Because I’ve never been good at hiding
But you were never really looking anyway

Have you heard all the science chatter
That the future is not made of matter
I don’t mean to detract
But as a matter of fact
That all they found is ‘doesn’t matter’
It’s a matter of life and death they said
But the crux of the matter, it’s all in their head
Coz the matter at hand
‘Doesn’t matter’ can’t stand
If its nothingness, then they’d all be dead
But as a matter of course they’ll leave truth behind
Due to the future that they think they’ll find
But when their theory splatters
They’ll ask ‘what’s the matter’
Which they’ll realize in a matter of time
I was told that it’s no laughing matter
And ‘doesn’t matter’, is not antimatter
Truth can’t be sacrificed
No matter how it’s sliced
Coz mind over matter is all that matters

Drawn to a scent that has appealed,
innocent heart lowers its shield
but betrayal sees trust shaken.
How may our broken heart be healed?
When we feel as such, forsaken,
it’s time for us to awaken,
rising above clouds of despair,
tranquil, blissful and unshaken.
Judging not, we become aware,
that those who did not with love pair,
came to teach, as of soul contract,
to forgive and for all souls care.
The code of love, in this way cracked,
we forge with God, a lifelong pact,
relinquishing expectation,
letting not lower mind detract.
Silence as our meditation,
our heart pulsates with elation
and so we flow, as does the breeze,
each life breath, soul’s celebration.
Free from overthinking disease,
our wounded heart thus heals with ease,
for within us glows flame of love,
witnessing life as but a tease.

Located in the perfect place
Filed in transparent drawer
Unruly impediments erased
Facets interact free of flaw
Seamless system clockwork
Methods remain meticulous
Design drawn up by a doctor
Considered, inconspicuous
Routine guides a room's tidy
Itemising verbatim shelves
Briefcase organised abiding
Data struck upon first delve
Packed in precise patterns
Utility is readily predicted
Shipshape sailing on satin
Scurvy sufferers evicted
Fold exposes name brand
Recognised categorically
Regular overhauls planned
Excess viewed as slovenly
Upkeep travels compact
In zipped compartments
Disarray tends to detract
Regimented requirements

truth’s we are alive
within body hive
oh joy
heart gives a high five
into desires dive
decoy
bliss in the archive
how will we revive
enjoy
in a long convoy
thought spirals annoy
detract
we’re now ego’s toy
fear fraught heart is coy
joy’s hacked
love is God’s envoy
fears ~ seek, search, destroy
bliss backed
ego urge subtract
head-heart interact
flow on
ceasing to react
waywardness retract
lust shorn
there’s no need for tact
love doth bliss attract
reborn

Please" A Big No!"to contract
That would Shaolin kicks attract,
From a modest aim detract;
Flow of air slow down in tract.
"No"to cheques you never checked;
Much like grains hens never pecked,
Post-dated cheques quick dreams wrecked
And issuer's good name staked...
And -yes- endorsements: thumbprint
For eyes with mistrustful glint
Staring at money in mint:
From head to toe Captain Flint!
From these counsels points extract:
Every goddamned message tracked,
The giver his brains racked,
You not doing so move slacked...
A business Man talks listen:
Minds light and they glisten.

Like two-sides of the same-coin are desire and aversion,
In daily psychic chores they are whole heart-mind immersion;
Desire is cause of all sufferings - Gautam Buddha claimed,
Aversion involves heart and mind too; both should be well-tamed...!
Charming blooms, guileless creatures and colorful-scenes attract,
From glooms and pains and sufferings human heart does detract;
Feelings of facts and fancies should go ever hand in hand,
Doesn't an oasis sooth us from scorching desert sand...?
Happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise and some disgust,
Should be integral part of beings like love, hope and trust;
Emotional equilibrium is like flesh-and-blood,
Lack of one leaves the body as though under-nourished bud...!
Prayer, pondering and optimism keep beings healthy,
Coherence and humility leaves inner spheres wealthy;
Right thought, word, action, contemplation and selfless service,
And detachment can clench one's entire existence at ease...!

through a very small circle
and without reason
I once caught sight
of a magnified ship
'standing still'
out at sea
when it came into focus
it merged with the sky
that was grey
and was smudged
by the rain on the lens
like the whole world around it
not even the dog on the beach
- barking and spinning in circles
while chasing whistles
that got lost
on the razor blade wind -
could detract
because for those
five misty-eyed minutes
before my sixpence ran out
life was safe and exciting
with no
real meaning
that ship
is still out there
anchored somewhere
inside childhood
- out of time
out of season
and many many miles
from land.

Sounds discordant around abound
We instantly react
Likewise for fearful thoughts that hound
Tranquility detract
Aversion and desire
Send to funeral pyre
Be free, aglow, afire
Crow’s caw mordant
Sounds discordant

Bianca my niece
Was spring cleaning the house
today
And came across a box of all
our old family photo albums
pictures and momentos
And found the poem my Father
wrote for Kayleigh my niece
her elder sister
And the reason I myself began
to try and write Poetry of my
own
So here it is
Kayleigh
Kayleigh is mixture of beauty
and beast
Barefoot and bareface but i love her so
The stature of a cat with all its agility
A fiery gaze and the finesse of a raging bull
If rebels are born the she on the list
Disasters beware she'll make you look tranquil
All innocent of course with no more malice
than a gentle breeze
A natural attraction to the bizzare
Lets no transgress nor detract from
this beautiful enigma
At the blink of an eye her face becomes
a treaure of pleasure
Eye's like entrances to heaven with an
alluring smile
You'll be entranced by this bouquet of beauty

When it is all whittled down,
A core of freedom is left to place.
Where fundamental questions seek the
Constitution, for answers, case by case.
The fulcrum seems to slide back and forth,
From right to left at the start.
Seeking to balance the lever of justice,
And preserve humanities heart.
Here the weight of liberty on one end,
Shouldn't remove the gains on the other side.
Since the roots of law share this burden,
Where autonomy won't restrain what others applied.
If independence is our lofty goal,
That preference must be true and held high.
Where one's volition won't detract from another's,
And all voices are heard above the cry.

Deliberately Flawed
Makers of pottery, rug weavers too,
from varied cultures- plan each design;
create flawed patches in work that they do-
since only God is perfection, divine.
The Navaho weave rugs with broken lines-
this facade showcases imperfect art;
as humans, they leave illusion- small signs-
spirit lines where weaver souls can depart.
So, inside their art, they hide the mask
of those defects well, not to detract
from beauty- and weave within every task
a strand of yarn- torn, a tiny bead- cracked.
Blessings of their imperfection- embrace;
seeking to match God's perfection- disgrace.

Poem
Poet
They don’t always match
It is not exact
I mean, opposites attract
Every brand new batch
Of poems can detract
From the original, not intact
The idea that did hatch
May not become tact
The meaning now abstract
But I guess that is the catch
When you make a pact,
Or rather a devil’s contract
To somehow patch
The little compact
Of inspiration, from which you distract
Yourself from your detach
That cut you off mid act
You try to reenact
And reattach
Disregarding the fact
That you were the one to subtract
Actual creativity to snatch
At the chance to transact
Quality to make an impact
But it all went down the latch
I guess all it did was counteract
Your initial goal, inexact
From the world, you unattach
And live on in redact
With no one to interact
Forever to be a mismatch

“May I fondle your gluteus maximus milady?”
“Why you certainly may, my good sir”
“A bucket like yours with such voluptuous curves
Starts me tingling and me motor to purr”
“Let us meander behind that tree over there
We can let our sweet passion flow
Bid a farewell to our inhibitions so to speak
And share in the light of love's glow”
“Now my kind sir, may I ask you a favour
I wish you would progress a bit further
The way you fondle I find quite exhilarating
Can't help myself yelling bloody murder!”
At that very moment a small crowd did appear
They were clapping and cheering us on
So we sheepishly pulled up our pantaloons
As our moment of passion was gone
The moral of the story is really quite simple
When fondling a lady's glutimus max
Make sure you're alone and don't gather a crowd
It can certainly detract from the act
