What's the Matter

Have you heard all the science chatter That the future is not made of matter I don’t mean to detract But as a matter of fact That all they found is ‘doesn’t matter’ It’s a matter of life and death they said But the crux of the matter, it’s all in their head Coz the matter at hand ‘Doesn’t matter’ can’t stand If its nothingness, then they’d all be dead But as a matter of course they’ll leave truth behind Due to the future that they think they’ll find But when their theory splatters They’ll ask ‘what’s the matter’ Which they’ll realize in a matter of time I was told that it’s no laughing matter And ‘doesn’t matter’, is not antimatter Truth can’t be sacrificed No matter how it’s sliced Coz mind over matter is all that matters
