Riding the road home
Opportunities open doors
Abandoning self, enjoy nature
Delightedly ride the road home

Premium Member Horse Sense

From anger,
we’ve released words bent on hurting,
These words,
were intended to be, disconcerting.

Then later,
without the sense God gave a horse,
We wallow,
in our self made pools of remorse.

Our tongues,
became bridges from our heart to ear,
Delightedly,
to purpose we’ve managed to adhere.

Apologies,
never eradicate and others may spurn,
Harsh words,
like arrows once released, won’t return.

Premium Member As We Wait

pink roses hang heavy in the undulating heat
a partial arch over the laneway
gentle sway midst the silver dust

a youth with his pug dog pauses
half in shadow beneath the flowery portal
the air lit by scent from a hidden inside
the dog restless
pulls at its leash like harbored want

wing-like, the boy lifts the dog to better sniff
delightedly, blooms in the soft swell of summer
unfazed wonderment caught in the dog's wagging tail
cheerful in this limited space
before what a lad hopes to remember is shadowed by age
before what bridges gaps gets undone

an unpredictable moment
a chemistry
when we outreach ourselves
in a patchwork of senses
to know an airborne longing
in the pathways behind us

Rainbow Kid

I am a rainbow kid
I take pride in who I am
And embrace the crown as I am
These colors I embrace,
This rainbow, running through my blood stream.
They call it debased,
But, I call it redeemed.
My identity I embrace,
Out of the ordinary,
I've Created my own special place.
Showing a full display to the world,
Freely,
Unapologetic,
And delightedly

Premium Member When Summer Is Gone

Autumn gives heed to the season's clarion call.
In dispute with the tree branches, leaves fall
The sun sometimes seems withdrawn.
Red-yellow mix delightedly paints the dawn
Winds and wintry in slow- races compete
Untimely rains naughtily mock the heat.
Days, yearning to sleep long, move fast
In clouds appear apparitions of contrast.
Harvest and celebrations erupt in delight.
The moon and stars brighten the coal-black night.
Love and romance, as oxygen, fill the air.
The exuberance of this season, O darling, let's share!

Diwali

Illuminate light
To dispel out the darkness
Enjoy the season.

Destroy the evil
With  powerful Sword of truth
Which lies within you.

Make the entire world
Free from the iniquitous
Live delightedly.

Make the prosperous
Entire moment of your life
Happy Diwali.

Reaching Out

A baby in a stroller pointed,
Giggling, at me.
I waved and then he laughed some more
And grinned delightedly.

I also had the sweetest kisses
Blown my way from far.
My brother’s year-old grandson
Raised the FaceTime cuteness bar.

The urge to thus communicate
Begins when very young,
With smiles the currency employed,
Since words are yet unsung.

As children grow and fear kicks in,
That need to reach out slows,
Thus limiting connections
Only to the ones each knows.

Moonlight On Your Neck

On your neck the moonlight
caressing the crescent hairline
a boy flying kites
I sip a little red wine

Out of the window
leaves rustle gently
Moonlight walking on the toes
shifts on a bunch of the lily

A blade of a deep urge
raising ripples in my pores
A sea lavishing its surge
on delightedly bursting shore

The pomegranate cracked open
pink pearls travelled to your fingers
Desires so long unspoken
didn't agree to linger

The fireplace I was sure
you looked for too
I watched heat waves on your face
and seas in eyes turning blue

Let the dense clouds combine
in a lightning sketching the storm
the sparks it's hard to define
rendering us devoid of form

Wings of the eagle
swimming aloft in the air
With the golden grey clouds
an ecstatic affair

Nature breathes gentle songs through the winds and wings, creating an intimacy with God which sparks the twinkle in both the stars and eyes ~ Quote by Poet

~~~
                        Whispering softly, liquid against smooth stones
            Caressing my naked thoughts, my imagination, my heart
Roaring rapids pouring over in rushing torrents of unspoken words
Creating tender melodies of unspeakable joy, faith, hope and love
                        Breathless laughter trembles from silent stars
Twinkling delightedly, inspiring souls to listen to their falling smiles
Coloring the night in shimmering displays of emotions that inspire
      Dancing flames of wisdom color the dawn in lemon rays
            Sunlight sighs through the azure sky, embracing souls
                        Warming thoughts with awe of heaven
Nature's music invites prayers and psalms to become well known
            Lingering on minds for moments alive with a spiritual warmth
 Lifting shadows from the darkest grief
                        Capturing hymns of enlightenment, amazement and unending grace
Childing
What can we tell you?
We are all here, green, and fruitful,
even the wrecked and rabid
all our budding devils and gods
slobbering delightedly
over words,
pictures we put together
with fingers sticky with sap
childing each other,
completing one jigsaw at a time
problem solving,
problems we manufactured
in the root factories of a soft labor,
a work to keep us tightly wrapped up
in a sense of self exploration
to keep us rambunctious enough
to think we are creating something
when in fact,  that ‘something’
is actually ‘us’,
and we do ‘us’ well
but when we don’t, we call that spillage
and over ripeness -
a poem.
Making a Wish
Happy birthday, Sister Irish,
These four lines express good desire;
Delightedly making a wish,
After the dark shadows expire.
Premium Member Seas of Enchantment
Her first taste of the water
Was filled with excitement
She moved through liquid
Like dolphin swim delightedly
She swam and swam so long
That we had to call her out
For she’d stayed in the water
Until her skin was contracted
Since she was only two then
We didn’t have a clue just
Where her swimming came
She was born with the instinct
We called her a little mermaid
Since the very first swim that year
When she taught us all just how
To enjoy a dip in the clear azure
Where liquid promises make you
Feel like you’ve been given a treasure
Of inspiration and enlightenment,
Gifts from the seas of enchantment
The Joy of Reconnecting
He laid there staring in outer space
His face showed no kind of emotion whatsoever.
She was confused as to what he was thinking,
Suddenly her heart started to race,
She calmly took a slow deep breath
Slowly enjoying inhaling
The scent of the disinfectant
Soaring high in the air surrounding them
He sits up reached out and held onto her hand
And immediately she went into his arms delightedly.
They hugged and squeezed each other tightly
While the tears from their eyes flow down their happy faces.
After a long hugged and everlasting squeezed
They finally freed themselves.
I knew you would come he said
With his lips quirked upwards in a joyous smile
You know me well she responded
I would never give you the pleasure
Of dying without saying good-bye
She threw her arms around his neck
And leaned against his chest for support
Time stood still and the silence engulfed them.
He could hear the pounding of her heart.
The kiss deepening until they both pulled away
In breathless wonders
Premium Member Words We Have Invented
Punkisimo
My own nonsense word
Laughter with my muse
Delightedly figuring out meaning
Enthusiastic gang singing on American Idol
Relaxdressica
Created on site, here and now folks
Misunderstood emotions
Tamped down into a meditative dressing ritual
Deals with taking off clothes and sleeping in the buff
Zebracillia
Invented cheerfully while we chewed
Our striped gums neighing at each other
While dancing the miranga during
A baby zebra's birthing celebration
Gravetia.
Italian. Upsets the French to hear it.
Understanding of statue of Love
Petitioners want to replace Statue of Liberty
Americans reluctant to let them in to do it.
Suspicious of everyone now.
