It's just who I am; yes, I have ADHD,
But that diagnosis doesn't define me.
Granted, it has its flaws; my mind is far from harmonious,
Yet sometimes I see with such clarity, it's pure utopia.
When I write poetry, creativity comes over me—my happy hour,
And seeing what others can't see, pareidolia is my superpower.
A daring strike, a bold move
not without considerable risk
Taking out the vile Ayatollah Khomeini
and half his henchmen in broad daylight
Not one American life lost --
100% success
GONE! the lynchpins of earth’s most evil regime
since Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich
Take heart, lovers of freedom
opponents of totalitarianism
at this mighty blow
to fanatical religious nihilism
Daring to order one chocolate and one vanilla ice cream cone
Surprised I wasn’t upbraided for asserting my
‘integrationist’s privilege’ – so ‘1960’s’
Escaped with my life ~ without taking my change
Midst the violent summer storm’s wrath,
He stood on the front porch fearlessly.
In the thunder roar or lightning strike,
Unafraid, he stood stoically.
When enquired, no direct answer came.
Daring stunt or curiosity,
A meteorological game.
Why put his life in such jeopardy?
Inside the house was another scene,
His wife and children were cowering.
On a bed mattress of coiled steel springs,
An antenna of sorts for lightning
Despite all pleas for him to retreat,
Boldly, he gazed at the angry sky.
Until the storm played its last drumbeat,
He bade it a respectful goodbye.
It is a weird one,
To keep gracing distant sun...
While moon could bail fun.
Dry lips are so tight,
To put words up at such sight
Daring distant fright.
While principles flow...
Yet couldn't keep deeds off blow,
In reality's show.
Why not dare decide,
One your past truly confide
Shouldn't be denied?
Kiwi Cricket's Shangri La...
"Can still hear the deafening din of the Indian crowd chagrin.
Stunned shell shocked silence at mandarins' sins.
Yet somehow still so loud
Like thunder down under in the proud
Land of the long white cloud.
Daring to dream of derring do plunder.
Upsets’ unctuous umami.
Shocks’ sumptuous serendipity.
Cast asunder as against the odds.
Hallowed Gods' anguished..felled & fallowed.
Kiwis vanquished the voodoo of Indian home hoodoo.
This purple patch, so perversely plush...got a hunch.
Would make even Prince blush, proud as ribena punch.
Sporting nirvanas cavorting with crepuscular career nadirs.
Can’t pillory this Test expedition, like the Everest conquest & Hillary.
Black cap sedition…Indian perdition.
Tradition debunked by spunky funk.
Not once, not twice but thrice.
Teeming..awash with gleaming beaming white.
Emancipation...damnation & salvation.
The Indian’s cardinal sin…not being able to play spin.
No way you can naysay.. just
Another Bill Murray Groundhog day.
As we learned..the underdog winner.. we yearned had turned.
Fat cats burned & stats spurned..into a dog's dinner."
Preparing a most daring dare,
Of pinning a tail to a bear,
He just couldn’t choose
Which tail type to use,
And thought best to leave matters there.
The flame of creativity is born from unknown and daring depths,
where desires and thoughts intertwine with dreams still untainted,
each spark from the free spirit is a triumph of flight over fears,
opening new skies, breaking the heavy chains of the objectified world,
but when the product of creativity touches the ground of culture and convention,
it settles, it calms, like a river losing its tumult in quiet valleys,
under the weight of time and hurried glances that no longer see essence,
in the sediments and memories of past and forgotten worlds,
and yet, somewhere in the deep silence of the soul, the flame still flickers,
waiting for the moment to rise again, to sing in vibrant and lively colors,
in a universe that demands neither explanations nor approvals, only existence.
candle shows him the way
raindrops appear as tears
window cold to the touch
will he come tonight?
I sit, waiting, wondering,
afraid to ask, daring to hope
He stood at the crown of the volcano
daring hot death-making lava to rumble out
it was warm today, and there was rumbling
we took some pictures of him up there
making uncomfortable shaky jokes
secretly afraid it was Pompeii all over again
and these would be his final moments
those daring men of the truth
The Australian who has been in jail for years to avoid
being sent to the USA, where he will get
further jail terms
He, I'm sure, is difficult to live with and has little tolerance for
other people's views, it goes with the terrain, famous men
who fight for the truth tend to be a handful
We in Europe know of his valiant effort to get the truth
of the war in Syria published
What I don't do the American public know this,
or has the press
made him into a traitor?
We have a man, a protestor, a thorn in Putin's
side it's said
found dead in his cell. and we, with scant knowledge
we have of Russian affairs, and automatically
we blame Putin!
this agitator, who appeared to be wealthy or had benefactors
to make it possible for him to travel around protesting
One thinks that Putin, was useful in telling us all how
democratic Russia is, as the living standard gets better and better
Those who murdered this deluded man are mighty enemies
of President Putin, try to blacken his name and preventing
him for seeking a third bid
Azure limpid sky, wonderful
inspires dashing flights
in the heaven of poetry
When 'the situation is grave'
those who dare to be brave
~ find the road to riches well-paved
Do not go gentle into the good night,
Where shadows dance, and darkness takes its flight.
Embrace the fire that burns within your soul,
Let passion guide you as you reach your goal.
Though time may pass and wear upon your frame,
Let not your spirit yield to sorrow's claim.
In every moment, let your spirit soar,
With every step, create a life worth more.
Resist the urge to dwell on days long past,
Instead, embrace the future and hold it fast.
The stars still shine, though they may seem concealed,
Their light remains, waiting to be revealed.
Rage against the dying of the light,
Ignite your dreams, let them take flight.
For life's too short to fade away unseen,
So seize the day and make your spirit keen.
Embrace the challenges that lie ahead,
With every breath, let your true self be shed.
Do not go gentle into the good night,
But blaze a path with all your strength and might.
