One Cure Leads to Another

Words "can" cure blindness

When my eyes deceived

One word of kindness

Relaxed and relieved

So close to blindness

Your words weren't in vain

One "dose" of kindness

Soon eases the pain

One fact reminds us 

Works better than "pills"

One "drop" of kindness 

Can "cure" the world's ills 

Please cure "our" blindness

Our "death" so it seems

One "act" of kindness 

God's "breath" fills our

kookaburra cure

kookaburra laughs so loud
can be heard above the crowd
lets it fly, for he is proud
afterwards, he promptly bowed

a show off in so many ways
the kookaburra makes my days
his laugh is infectious, for sure
for pain, this bird can be the cure

Cure for Me

I remember when
The stars weren't my own
I remember when
Sad stories of a real soul

I remember when
We used to play pretend
My future, my escape
Dream of another time or place

What shall become of me?
Only doubt
What did I see?
Nothing, no belief

I know now.

Her tears water my soul

Made new, now whole

There Ain't no cure for hate

There ain't no cure for hate
My friends
Why do you hate my guts so much
What have I done to you
To be mistreat by you friends
I never mistreat you on friends
I have lots of respect for you friends
I never mistreated you once in my life

Love Hate Away

From whence it came and for what purpose, completely mystifies.
Could be from earth's galaxy with The One God to look toward
or another universe, though those with degrees say such is jive.
Perhaps, said denial is one omnipotent wisdom has long adored.
Here it did appear, causing humans to endlessly, painfully agonize,
as it senselessly, cruelly, ever stains us

Paracosm is a Cure

The decadence of one hundred – 
maybe one thousand – 
hands 
and running mouths.

Wynorrific red-yellow cultivates
my brain with torpor;
when 
did the ground shake?

Oh solace, it is the only time
I leave the human
eye;
my empyrean wanting.

Something helps not to
desire an awakening;

How much time
is left to me,
that answer is not known.

We all do ask the question though,
when is my time to go?

An answer comes to us all
for that you can be sure,

cause life as planned
by grand design,

with death,
there is no cure!

He Wanted to Develop a Cure All for Cancer

A panacea for cancer is what I’m all about
What about Alzheimer’s, the jealous one asked in a shout
Let’s not forget chicken pox, heart attacks and leprosy
The scientist ran from his lab, to watch monotone TV

He wanted to eliminate all the diseases, of course
But opposition was as stubborn as Farmer Joe's plow horse
The naysayers were yelling

Headlight humanity; 
The cherry-red brake lights,
Becoming florid totality with the things your eyes do to them.

          When we heal a wound,
        we think we have healed life...
         however,

My Cure for the Blues

I have a cure when I feel blue.
When I am home and it is late,
there’s something first that I must do.
It sure is easy, fast, and great.

When I am home and it is late,
I settle down to watch TV,
which is a lot of fun for me.

close dear,
trauma bond
with dark desire,
that no dull moments
may slow down pace of life,
