Suicides not selfish

Maybe I'm not sorry
That I left you all behind
Maybe this is what I need
And iv made up my mind

Suicide is selfish
Thats what you all will say
But your the ones who make me
Live like this each day

Every second hurts
More painful than the last
And i will forever hate myself
As I relive my past

So I hate you all everyone
To the very end
For all the hatred and anger
That you always send

Cause suicides not selfish
When the world wants you to die
So it's you that needs to ask yourself
Why I had to say goodbye

Maybe your the selfish one
For telling me to stay
But not giving me a reason
Not to go away

Cause suicides not selfish
When you feel like I do
If you felt even half my pain
You would want to end it too.

Premium Member Destiny

Destiny
Any movement
In thought or deed
Gives direction.
To what will be?
So, nothing of thought
Nothing of deed
Will I cease to alter?
What was to be?
My destiny
When I awake
A second or less
The world moved on
More or less
Where I fit
In what will be?
A second or less
My destiny

Familiar Faces - Qd

Familiar Faces

Awakening gently with a sigh
of a dream remembered vividly
While to this dream I must say goodbye
Today tops most in its infancy

While traversing dreams to lands afar
and seeing things we’ve not seen before
There’s always a wish that reaches stars
That we’ll see loved ones that we adore

Loved one’s faces in dreamy places

Living Tapestry

Living Tapestry

It seems I’ve always searched for perch amid the shifting sand
Past memories, mixing with new ones, blending to give me a hand

On a hot summer night life began as a bundle of joy to behold
Though joy, it seems, would slip and slide as my journey began to unfold

Unseen plates beneath my feet would move at inopportune times
The decisions made, plundering forward, I remember now in aged decline

Daily demands in hourglass time, life choices, from unforgiving sand
With finding the balance, of wrong and right, not always going as planned

My journey, a tapestry of colorful sand, might for some be a sight to behold
But the blessings I see, scattered within, are worth more than can ever be told.

Counterbalancing Self

Counterbalancing Self

I found her in absent withdrawal
A study of confusion and nerves
Countermanding the calm exterior
Presented to face the day

Hand applied radiance
Giving her face a glow
While the eyes struggled
To balance minds overflow

I heard her in a sing song voice
greeting others beginning their day
Years of tutelage shoving forward
Presented to face the day

The rhythm a mishmash
Of blues and skipped beats
While feet moved ever forward
Sturdy, ever denying defeat.

I saw her in bits and pieces
When I, myself, had hit a wall
Mirrored glances chased my vision
Presented to face the day

I watched her stumble
Yet never quite fall
And wished for her balance
So I, too, could stand tall

Her Pages Keep Turning

Her Pages Keep Turning
Copywrite 2017 M.P. Shaudd

She would have you believe
That you're more than just friends
Her hello comes quickly
But so does the end

Before sorrow befalls
The next waiting man
The chapters been written
Its already penned

Her pages keep turning, and turning again
What once was her future
Is the past once again
Her story is written in heartache not pen
She keeps turning the pages again and again

Each line that she writes
Makes each new man think
He's found Heaven on Earth
But she's used invisible ink

You think you will see
Eternity bloom
But she's already written
The chapter on you

Her pages keep turning, and turning again
What once was her future
Is the past once again
Her story is written in heartache not pen
She keeps turning the pages again and again

The blank represents
The record she keeps
You better look fast
You better not blink

Like an old record skips
And repeats again
From friends into lovers
To nothing again

Her pages keep turning and turning again
Each chapter gets shorter as it nears the end

OCTOBER SUNSET

We love the dying light;
The sudden nature of the golden day.
Then watch the weightless clouds
Cover covens of moody hills,
Startup burning colors and
Stalk the trees to smolder
Under a slow burn that glows
Tints and frames designer eyes.
Behold!
Watch it tuck its red heart
Into the cold ground.

The Hawk

THE HAWK

I feel so blessed when I see him soar
High above in the cloud-filled sky
And free

I feel so good when I watch him dive
And swoop and glide glad to be alive
Being Free

I feel content he has the space to be
What he is a beautiful wild spirit
Still free

I make a promise and take an oath
That I will do all I can to see that he
Remains free

Beneath feathered breast beats a heart
That wants to be no different to me
Living free

He remains a while hovering high above me
Proud, elegant, splendid in his majesty
Always free

Free Cee I Really Need Someone To Answer This Question For Me

HELP!

if i'm watching a mango grow ripe
and i'm sucking on a pipe
if i was smoking crack and pot and as much as i've got
doesn't that make me a crack pot?

No Grey

Hearsay on what love is today
Lives stretched thin for parchment paper bridges
Twice over crossed
Trampled, trodden, lost hearts in clouds
While rain was wringing out my hair
Let down my gaurd
Tasting peppermint Chard ment to
Cling to a tree until my help arrived
At mydestiney without you
Speak to me over shallow tones of flesh
Glistening nipples to nurse a drink as I sit
On this step and contest how much you don't know me
And him on a pendulum
Swaying choir sings at your wedding
To the kind of bleeding it out
With the Rugrats on a network of Carnies
Laughing at the man in the Emporers clothes
Worn tight hanging on to mornings light
Turned on then blown out
For renowned satisfaction
Due to your lack of actions
Speak louder than words
On a new world order
Signed on as the Natural Selection

Careless Desperation

Careless desperation without a copywrite.
Dangerously displaying the pretty words we write.
Thoughts of dreams, thoughts of schemes we share so desperately.
Caution is ignored so that someone else can see.

The unknown future is cloaked in mystery.
As we sit here in the present, aware of history.
We walk alone into the night.
Knowing very well, we're not strong enough to fight.

What will be, is what will be.
I thank God he's watching over me.
Knowing I'm a gambler with every dime I've got.
What I've won so far is not alot.

I'm a big talker when theres no one to hear.
Quiet as a mouse when I'm full of fear.
It makes me angry, what my fellow man will do.
Stab you in the back, refuse to pay his due.

But here I sit continuing to write.
Never minding the unknown answers within sight.
Taking back the power that you can not steal.
Sharing with everybody, the way that I feel.
