Premium MemberTwilight's Mumble

As daylight fades beyond the distant hill,
Dusk paints the sky in hues of soft repose.
Through swaying boughs, the birds their songs distill,
While gentle breezes dance on tippy-toes.

Lotus treads the path with a weary stride,
Her thoughts are as heavy as the fading light.
Yet with each step, her burdens seem to glide
Away, as if prepared to take their flight.

A flower, bent and worried, catches sight
Of Lotus passing by with a slowing gait.
Its petals tremble in the dimming light,
As if to share in her conflicted state.

The blossom and the woman, kindred souls,
Find solace in their shared anxiety.
As twilight deepens, nature takes control,
Embracing both in sweet serenity.

In the evening's hush, a transformation blooms,
The flower straightens, and Lotus' spirit lifts.
The worried stem no longer bends in the gloom,
As peace becomes the night's most precious gift.

Together in the gloaming, fears subside,
A fresh perspective blossoms with the stars.
The day's concerns, once seemingly amplified,
Now fade like distant, long-forgotten scars.

Premium MemberYou are always on my mind

When I make my bed,
and find you not by my side,
I can’t get sleep, I feel alone;
You are always on my mind.

Awake every night, finding none
to share my cup of coffee with,
every morning, I feel lonely;
you are always on my mind.

When I sit at the table for dinner,
my appetite dies, seeing you not there,
for serving my most favorite dish;
you are always on my mind.

While watching my favorite movie,
I feel dejected, finding no shoulder
to lean upon my head so fondly;
you are always on my mind.

When I am in my low spirits,
and no one is near me to console,
I feel upset, taking the blame on me;
you are always on my mind.

Premium MemberConsoling the Heart

Falling from the mourning skies
Gentle thoughts and silent rhymes
Breathing grief through the spirit
Singing comfort with God’s tender hope

Premium MemberThe Words That Poets Rhyme

There beside me close as any friend
the wind, cascading on the sunshine, does descend.

And playing in the grass around me, by the water at my feet,
does share with me the dance of life, to overcome defeat.

For Lo, though lost in loneliness, I am not yet alone.
My every breath a part, of some great undertone.

I am but a part of all; a hand that reaches out.
And though at times it may seem small

my voice does even silent shout.
And you will hear. Of that I have no fear.

For we are all the fabric of our time
and ears were made for words that poets rhyme.

Please Smile -Dh

Please smile -DH

             If I could tell you
             I would have found words
             Searched my thoughts closed box
             The way my heart feels
             From your eyes tears fall

            Your pain breaks me
             Into pieces
            Beyond repair
            Stay in my arms

            You'll feel warmth
             Of my love
             In your soul

             Drop hurt
              Wipe tears

              Smile

Console Me No More

Push me no more
console me no more
Words are spoken
i cannot hear I am deaf

You want me to remember this remember that, look at this, look at that
my mind is shut tight with my heart and soul, tangled
console me no more

A hug a kiss falls right through me
my body is here but my senses are not
console me no more

time will heal
time will tell
time no more
a love one gone
empty
console me no more

Silence of Lover, Dare Not Seek To Hide

Hear O, dearest mine, I call upon thee
Leave not me, may the fate’s fore be undone
Love will unite, ‘tis of us to redone
How shalt this trial pass, if we flee than dree?

When sun dances above divine rainbow
Soothing nightingale, thy matchless beauty
Springs forth golden delight, never empty
Whilst swaying fields remain draped by moonbow.

Let passion from within last a lifelong
Kindly pavé, uphold graceful feeling
Kindle our fiery fear, handsome darling
Live with my sweetest soul where yearns belong.

Eternal sweeting, have thou stricken dole?
Ever precious, hallow may thine console!

Your Contentment, My Console

Let me ease my bottled pains
By igniting the beauty under your facade,
For i have deprived myself of that
But live to feel it through you.

Console

I know, when I see you, how terrible you feel
I know you're fatigued and cannot stand still
I know you want to tell the whole world your despair
I know you've lost hope in ritual and prayer;
I know you have worked hard, I know you have tried
I know, how in utter despair, you've cried
I know, how polite and courteous you were
I know you liked to mingle, to share...
I know you looked upon all with the same eye
I've never seen you grieve, I've never seen you sigh...

Now, when you're shattered, I've nothing to say
We can do nothing, but quietly go away -
If I were Lord, I wouldn't bear this injustice
By shattering one's life, I wouldn't get peace,
But I'm a mere mortal, with a mind and a soul
I can't give you success, I can only console.

Console Me

The rising sun creeps through her window,

Placing a kiss on her cheek.

She awakens.

Stretching her arms and limbs,

Her body moves in harmony while

Trying to loosen the grasp of the sheets from where she laid.

Balancing onto her feet,

She staggers to the lonely kitchen table

Where her diary awaits her.

The tulip pen burrows itself in her grasp,

Begging her to write.

Her soft hand moves swiftly across the page,

Reciting her intimate night, yet again,

With another stranger.

Tears roll down her face,

As she reminisces the pain

 She inflicts upon her heart.

She is alone.

Console Reality

Through putrid post apocalyptic wastelands
I wander gun in hand
prepared to annihilate those critters
who dare to cross my path
then I press the pause button
and sip from my china cup
thankful that life isn't like
my console reality
whilst I flick through the channels
on my flatscreen TV
Game break over
back to fighting bad guys
in a pixelated land
I let off a round
a-tat-a-tat-tat
It kind of looks familiar
like an item on the news
but I know my mind's just playing tricks
Real life is bliss
